Hi All.Created pages and mapped client context path to /etc/clientcontext/xxx Saved and activated the page from author . Once hit the same page in Firefor and IE 9 , asking for "would you like to share the location"Whereas in chrome, it is not asking for location prompt.Also from sidekick , if i select "clientcontext" i cannot able to see any client context is loaded.

Can I Use ExJS lib in my pages (on published pages) for free if I have AdobeCQ license for free, I know this lib is not freeware 

Hello,I'm working with AEM6 and Sightly and have an issue with our message keys.Until now we had some text output like<fmt:message key="message.key.${variable}" /> Now I would like to use this format: ${'message.key' @ i18n}I thought, I found the solution by using ${'message.key.part.{0}.another.part.{1}' @ i18n, format=[variable1, variable2]}but the format-option only injects the values of variable1 and variable2 into the translation of the provided message key at the corresponding placeholders.Other combinations like ${'message.key.'variable @ i18n} or ${'message.key.${variable}' @ i18n} failed. I hope someone can provide a solution :-)Best regardsMatthias

Just testing an upgrade of one of our CQ 5.4 instances to AEM 5.6.1. One issue we have come across is trying to access a folder through a URL, which used to work under 5.3We have a program which accesses a folder under the DAM, iehttp://author-server/content/damUnder 5.6.1 we get an error, ~Forbidden. Cannot serve request to /content/dam/ in org.apache.sling.servlets.get.DefaultGetServletThe full WebDAV URL will work in 5.6.1,http://author-server/content/dam/crx/repository/crx.default/content/dam/Also if we do the following will workhttp://author-server/content/dam.jsonIs it possible to get 5.6.1 to work as it did under 5.3, so that we don't have to put the full WedDav path in. Otherwise we will need to recode an application which uses the previous functionalityWe only need the functionality in Author.Thank you

Hello,We are working on User/Group setup (AEM6 with SP1 installed).After setting permissions under "/libs/wcm/core/content/damadmin/actions/create/menu" for any group in damadmin the blank menu appears (see screenshot attached).It's reproduced even under admin with all permissions.We have the same problem in siteadmin.How to solve this issue?

Hello,I am currently testing the OOB InDesign functionality built into AEM.  I am using InDesign Server CC 2014.  When I upload an InDesign document I get the following error:Error Number: 54Error String: Uncaught JavaScript exception: ReferenceError: StyleSheetExportOption is undefinedWhen I look at this file in AEM which handles the scripting for the html export:/etc/dam/indesign/scripts/XHTMLExport.jsxI see this line:cssExportOption = StyleSheetExportOption.EMBEDDED_CSSWhen I comment out this line I get another error related to:customImageSizeOption = ImageSizeOption.SIZE_RELATIVE_TO_PAGE_WIDTH;However when i comment out that line also the workflow completes properly just with not CSS applied to the page (plain text is output as html).Does anyone know why this error occurs?  I'm not that familiar with InDesign scripting and it may have something to do with that but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,How do I get the link resolved when using Sightly?I have a 'pathfiled' in the dialog which points to one of the page in the site and I get this to the page in the href as below<a href='${properties.imageorvideo == "image" ? (properties.url || "#") : "#"}' >How do I add ".html" to this in Sightly?Now the link on the site appears as '/content/mysite/abc'. No .html is added to the link (WITHOUT USING JAVA USE API)Thanks

I have a file containing a list of several thousand assets (jpg's and gif's)  that need to be deleted from from our CQ 5.4 Dam.Please could someone advise, the correct way to achieve this?  Is there a specific API to call to remove dam assets or is it ok to simply delete the node ?Many thanks in advance.

I have just tested the upgrade from 5.4 to 5.6.1 on one of our instances, author and publish, and in both cases the OSGi --> Config menu is missing from the system console. Any ideas? ThanksEverything seems to be working fine otherwise. Cant see any noticeable errors, and all the relevant bundles and services seem to have started.

Hi there,We'd like to look at alternate ways of implementing device detection, rather than using the link alternate tags.  I've found that there is the option to define Device Group specific URLs, but the documentation is limited:http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/mobile.html#Defining a Device Group Specific URLCan anyone describe exactly what this option does.  And/or an example of how to use it?Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Using the following URL http://servername:port/crx/explorer/nodetypes/index.jsp I can create namespaces manually. I believe namespace will be created as a folder under /libs/dam/options/metadata.Can I use application specific namespace instead of the /libs/dam/options/metadata folder? If so what configurations and changes are required.How do I create this programatically using API,  Are there any specific apis to create namespaces? What are the permissions needed when I create namespace through a workflow process.

I am trying to write a selector that spits bunch of custom JS variables. As author uses frames, those variables are not available. But publish seems to fine as there are no frames. How does CQ.WCM or CQ_Analytics objects are available? How I can I achieve the same thing in my selector js.jsp file. There was a /etc/languages node in AEM 5.6 version. I don't see that node in AEM 6.0. Can anyone tell me how the list of languages are displayed on AEM 6.0 translator page.http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/i18n/translator.html

Hi, I am trying to build a segment that tracks the main page of a category, plus all his sub categories/sub-pages.Let's say that my site look like this: main category: www.mysite.com/product/shoessubcategories: www.mysite.com/product/shoes/women www.mysite.com/product/shoes/men www.mysite.com/product/shoes/kidswww.mysite.com/product/shoes/kids/winter and so on.and that I want to track the "shoes page" plus "all the shoes subpages" (women,men,kids, kids winter) with a segment. So my "magic string" is "shoes", and I was thinking to build a segment where:PAGE contains /product/shoes/ (in order to track all the subcategories)but it doesn't work because Adobe shows also page like www.mysite.com/search or www.mysite.com/index.htmland if I create PAGE URL (props) contains /product/shoes/ (in order to track all the subcategories) shows zero results.Any suggestion in how build a segment like that? Thanks.

We extract Adobe Analytics data nightly for import into our internal CRM system.  We currently have a custom solution to create a "session" ID since this is not a standard field in the Adobe DW.  Our prior solution will not work when we implement the marketing cloud visitor ID.  Just wondering how others are getting session level data into internal systems for analysis, predictive modeling, targeting, etc.Greg

Hi, I have used SAINT classifications to divide out my pages by Device Type - Device Model - Device Pages When navigating to a report and selecting the + symbol to the left of Device Type, I get all my Device models and this is fine. However, if I go one level deeper I only get the top 50 pages relating to the device. By using advanced download options and creating an excel file, I can get all of the necessary values by specifying the number of rows and this works for me but is there a reason I only see the top 50 within SiteCatalyst itself? Thanks.

Hello,Has anyone in the community observed a harsh drop in IE and Mozilla visits starting on 3/26/15?  We are seeing a 90% drop in all traffic from these browsers but not when check other analytics systems like Google Analytics or back end conversion tables.  Cheers,Shaun
