Hi, I am trying to build a segment that tracks the main page of a category, plus all his sub categories/sub-pages.Let's say that my site look like this: main category: www.mysite.com/product/shoessubcategories: www.mysite.com/product/shoes/women www.mysite.com/product/shoes/men www.mysite.com/product/shoes/kidswww.mysite.com/product/shoes/kids/winter and so on.and that I want to track the "shoes page" plus "all the shoes subpages" (women,men,kids, kids winter) with a segment. So my "magic string" is "shoes", and I was thinking to build a segment where:PAGE contains /product/shoes/ (in order to track all the subcategories)but it doesn't work because Adobe shows also page like www.mysite.com/search or www.mysite.com/index.htmland if I create PAGE URL (props) contains /product/shoes/ (in order to track all the subcategories) shows zero results.Any suggestion in how build a segment like that? Thanks.

We extract Adobe Analytics data nightly for import into our internal CRM system.  We currently have a custom solution to create a "session" ID since this is not a standard field in the Adobe DW.  Our prior solution will not work when we implement the marketing cloud visitor ID.  Just wondering how others are getting session level data into internal systems for analysis, predictive modeling, targeting, etc.Greg

Hi, I have used SAINT classifications to divide out my pages by Device Type - Device Model - Device Pages When navigating to a report and selecting the + symbol to the left of Device Type, I get all my Device models and this is fine. However, if I go one level deeper I only get the top 50 pages relating to the device. By using advanced download options and creating an excel file, I can get all of the necessary values by specifying the number of rows and this works for me but is there a reason I only see the top 50 within SiteCatalyst itself? Thanks.

Hello,Has anyone in the community observed a harsh drop in IE and Mozilla visits starting on 3/26/15?  We are seeing a 90% drop in all traffic from these browsers but not when check other analytics systems like Google Analytics or back end conversion tables.  Cheers,Shaun

HelloI would like to know how to count unique visitors number of referrer type report.I think if userA would come to our site from like as following,2015/3/1 from link in webmail2015/3/2 from search site2015/3/3 from bookmarkThen referrer type report will be like this.Total            1Typed/Bookmarked    1Search Engines        1Other Web Sites        1If my thinking is correct, I cannot understand these values on this report.Segment---------------------------------HIT containerpage contains "AAAA"----------------------------------------Total(A)        600Typed/Bookmarked    100Search Engines        100Other Web Sites        100Social Networks        100Hard Drive        100Total value of each referrer type(B)    500This values are sample, but I cannot understand the reason that total numbers(B) is smaller than total value(A) on the report.How does Site Catalyst count the unique visitor number on this report?

Hi,When I compare the Next Page flow report in Sitecatalyst with the same report in Adhoc analysis, there are quite a lot of differences. For example, starting from the Homepage (500.000 views):-Exited Site (as next page) is 4% in Adhoc and 28% in Sitecatalyst.-Homepage (as next page) is 27% in Adhoc and does not appear in Sitecatalyst.I know the figures between Adhoc and Sitecatalyst don't always add up but these differences are huge.Does anyone have an explanation for this? Cheers,Martijn

Hello,I am tracking events that have no revenue associated/attributed to them.If I wanted to look at page level event attribution, what attribution method do you believe I should use?Linear works great with revenue... recent only attributes the event to the last page, participation full credit to each page in a visit and visitor participation full credit to each page over multiple visits.Also, I have my page names captured as both an evar and s.prop.  Should I use the evar version since it is for event sequencing?  Or s.prop and treat it more like pathing?Thanks!

Hi masters! I’m involved in a MSM (multisite mgmt.) project in AEM6.We need to manage different users for each site. I mean, a registered user in siteA, cannot login to siteB. Also, if John Doe registers itself in siteA and siteB, the users have to be different (different passwords, different profiles, etc.). So, I don’t think this should be a permissions/roles issue.The above means that we need to think in different functionalities to be reviewed/configured/customized (?), like these:User registration (sign up)User login (sign in)Password recoveryNewsletter registration…We’ve reviewed the geometrixx examples, and we think these examples are suitable for one site (or shared users for different sites), but not for a MSM scenario (not-shared users).The documentation about Identity Management [1] refers to geometrixx-outdoors pages, not to the underlying APIs, so it don’t clarify very much. We would like to know the best approach to implement these requirements. Any idea, help, suggestion

I am using OOB image component , but I have a requirement where I need to set up a default image for my image component. In some templates this component will be included directly in the templates, there I need to show this default image. Once image is selected by the author, that image will be displayed. Please provide me the code to acheive this requirement.

 I am using CQ5.6.1 ,In a iframe I wanted to auto height an external URL content (say http://rediffmail.com) in CQ5,but found that cross scripting issue is coming up.when I am doing an javascript manuplation.I see it throws error permission denied to access property 'document' iframeSo how could i solve this problem.I saw one of the option as X-Frame-Options, is there any other better method.can some one point out how to add the  X-Frame-Options in CQ5,Any code snippet will be helpfull.

I reinstalled everything from scratch on ports 4506&4507.  Everything looks perfectly fine.  CRXDE, package manager, granite web site.  Felix is routed.  The http clients are installed.  All 4 jar zip files are installed.  Tools manager comes up.  Bundles console is fine.   HOw do you tell if Apache Sling resolver is set to HTML?  I couldn't locate that setting. The only error is a slingrequestpathinfo for ‘content/mysite/XX/XX/en/login.htmBut, I think it is just missing the CMS content, buttons images etc.There is a cq5 integration file that does have the CMS content in it.I don’t know what to do with it  It isn’t a jar file.  It is just the xml content files.  Its got a jcr_root directory and a meta-inf.This is a wild guess but since cq5 is a content manager maybe the content goes somewhere :-)  now thatt past the installation.Thanks,

Hi All,I want to show search result count beside the each search facets which acts as filter on the search result returned by a free text search. For example I search "car" and my facets (filters) are Audi, Mercedes, BMW. So when end user clicks on these facets they only see pages which are tagged with that particular tag. I am able to fetch result by writing simple query builder query and logic is working perfectly fine.  Now I want to enhance my functionality and show number of search result beside each tag like Audi (10), Mercedes (23), BMW(18).1. Simplest approach which comes to my mind is to fire separate query for each facet and get the search result count for them (i.e. 4 querys for this case and goes bad a number of search facet increases). This will add huge load on my server and would create performance issues.2. Get all the result back and while processing them in JSP, I read all the pages and keep count of all the tags I encounter. Hi Everyone,Is there a way to store all permissions for /content// subfolders in /content/rep:policy, not in the rep:policy nodes of those subfolders?When I set a permission for some group to, say, /content/abcd, it will appear in /content/abcd/rep:policy. However, I have just seen a structure where /content/rep:policy contains a lot of allowXXX and denyYYY nodes where the exact path is specified in rep:glob property, and there are no rep:policy-ies in the child folders. How can I configure AEM to write settings the same way?Is it possible at all, maybe that is done only by creating a package with the permissions in some external program and then installing the package?

I have a team of users, Team A.  Users in Team A must be able to unlock each others locked pages even though they are not using the admin account.  I thought I could use CQ5 impersonation for this.  I have set up this team to impersonate each other.  However, when they log in, they are not able to impersonate anyone.When I set myself as an impersonator of members of Team A, I am able to impersonate team.All of the users in this environment have full read/write access set up in CQ5 permissions.  The only difference is that I am a member of administrators, while the members of Team A are not.  Is this required for using impersonation?  If not, what else could I be missing?  I am using CQ 5.6.1.
