Hi All, Trying to create a Calculated Metric on the Admin console (to be used by all users) I cannot use Events for my formula (they do not show in the list of available metrics).I can see Events when creating a Calculated Metric from a report, for my user account.Is that normal? Is that a feature or a bug?Thanks, Gidi

We have done Distimo integration with one of our mobile app. Would be cool to make real time reporting on how many downloads we get in real time. I can’t see “downloads” as a metric in real time reporting so I guess this is not possible? Seems like not possible even with the help of processing rules. Any ideas how we could do this or impossible?Noticed that Distimo published free API and with that everything is possible, but that would mean much more work than the default SiteCatalyst real time reporting. :(

In Adobe Analytics, Is there a way where I can segment what a user does after an event happens? For example, I want to know what pages the user visits after they sign up for a newsletter or after they visit a specific page.  Any help is appreciated, thanks!

How can I automate sending data to an FTP site on a daily basis through Data Warehouse? When I try to set up an automatic send, it only allows me to send by month or year. Is it possible to send daily in Data Warehouse?

Hi all,I have a site tagged through on page JS, but would like to add new features / rules etc with the Dynamic Tag Manager.I have created the web property, checked on the "Adobe Analytics page is already present" and rename the "Object Name" to s2.But, for the s_code part, where either "managed" or "url" needs to be chosen I am not 100% sure what to do and what it involves:I have read the manual: (https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/dtm/index.html#Adobe_Analytics)but what should I do if I just wanted to add new features/rules but change nothing from the native code?Many thanks,Manuel

OK, so my situation is:  there is a long running report which was created in Omniture 13.5 by the person who was in this position before I was.  Beginning last week the report is no longer running correctly.  I have looked and tried to see if I could recreate the report but have not had any luck so far in doing so.  I tweeted to Adobe support and @AdobeMktCare requested I post the report on here for assistance.  So attached is what the report looked like prior to last week and the new results I am receiving on it.  Any assistance with recreating this report would be greatly appreciated - I am sure there is a way, I just clearly do not know how to do so.

HiI'm responsible for a web service where users can send contact requests through a web form that has a drop down menu to select the topic of the request. Sending the contact request has been defined as a success event and the topic is saved to a conversion variable (eVar). I have a couple of questions about the setting:We would like to classify some of the contact requests as leads. Should I use conversion classifications for this? Do I have to classify the non-lead requests with something else?How can I add monetary values to the requests? Can each contact request have its own value or am I limited to adding value only to the success event (or even this)? Or should I actually use products to solve this?Thanks for the responses!

Hi,How can we find the visit number of a visitor within the reporting period? The visit number report currently shows the value based on visitor lifetime value, but I need it to be based on reporting timee.g. In the below scenario if I run Visit Number report for Nov, it will show 1 visit for visit#6 and visit#7, but what I need is to see the total visits made only in November (visit1, visit2, etc.)Aug: visit#1, visit#2Sep: NilOct: visit#3, visit#4, visit#5Nov: visit#6, visit#7What percentage of visitors visit once, twice, three times, or more in a monthIs this possible at all? Hi, I broke down one eVar by another eVar and tried to download the whole report. However, there is not a row option. Thus, I had to download page by page. Besides that, it does not give me the sum for all the eVars.Any alternative for this? Thanks!

I have my code set up on a 3rd party vendor's https lightbox. This lightbox is generated via an iframe, when checked in Omnibug I get a 200|OK response as expected but do not see any results in my reports. I found that referral for our advertisement that was served through mediamind on selected websites, was not detected. All this advertisement coming to our website from 3rd party websites seems to be treated as Type/Bookmarked traffic (according to what is displayed on digitalPulse debugger).Has anyone had the same experience? Thanks!

Hi,I am curious about what data is categorized under the mobile pane in web-based report suites. These report suites are set up to capture data from normal website instead of mobile site. Hence, does that mean the data under mobile pane come from people who use mobile device to browse our normal website? Thanks!

Is there any possibility to get Visitor Id from programing?

Today (10/18/13) at roughly 4PM PST my co-worker and myself all of a sudden had Ad Hoc Analysis stop working? We can log in but can't create any reports. It happened to Site Cat for a few mins. but SitCat started working aain. Now 7 hrs. later, it still doesn't work.

So...here's the scoop. I have a 50Mb SAINT file split into 5 different files. I have uploaded the files into 3 different FTP accounts I have created (using the correct template to create the SAINT tab document) and I wait.....day 1, day 2. Nothing. Is there a particular folder I should create in the FTP directory for a successful upload? I run a browser export to determine if my entries have posted (which for this instance, have all been unsuccessful) - is there a different report I should be running? Is there something in the file that is missing? I have attached an example of the file for review.....HELP!

I would like to investigate a case. We think that our customers probably come to our website on Mondays to check out our promotion as we usually have new promotion on Mondays. Then, they come back to purchase on Tuesdays after comparing prices at our competitors. What is the best way to investigate this?I compared key metrics for Mondays and Tuesdays but don't find much trend through it. Thanks!

Is anyone having issues pulling a report from Reportbuilder to match SiteCatalyst Visitor Profile > GeoSegmentation > Cities?I run the same report, for the same City, same date range, same reportsuite and in Reportbuilder there is no data being pulled in (yet SiteCatalyst is showing 2k visits).Thanks,Tom
