Today (10/18/13) at roughly 4PM PST my co-worker and myself all of a sudden had Ad Hoc Analysis stop working? We can log in but can't create any reports. It happened to Site Cat for a few mins. but SitCat started working aain. Now 7 hrs. later, it still doesn't work.

So...here's the scoop. I have a 50Mb SAINT file split into 5 different files. I have uploaded the files into 3 different FTP accounts I have created (using the correct template to create the SAINT tab document) and I wait.....day 1, day 2. Nothing. Is there a particular folder I should create in the FTP directory for a successful upload? I run a browser export to determine if my entries have posted (which for this instance, have all been unsuccessful) - is there a different report I should be running? Is there something in the file that is missing? I have attached an example of the file for review.....HELP!

I would like to investigate a case. We think that our customers probably come to our website on Mondays to check out our promotion as we usually have new promotion on Mondays. Then, they come back to purchase on Tuesdays after comparing prices at our competitors. What is the best way to investigate this?I compared key metrics for Mondays and Tuesdays but don't find much trend through it. Thanks!

Hello - where can I find info about the new H.26.2 tag which Tag Manager is nagging me about! :) When updating the H code in Tag Manager, what needs to be tested, and how can I roll back if I find an issue with my associated customizations?For example, I'm having an issue with H26.1 with custom link tracking events not firing. Is anyone having issues pulling a report from Reportbuilder to match SiteCatalyst Visitor Profile > GeoSegmentation > Cities?I run the same report, for the same City, same date range, same reportsuite and in Reportbuilder there is no data being pulled in (yet SiteCatalyst is showing 2k visits).Thanks,Tom

When I run a the Site Content/Site Sections report the total number of page views is almost 100,000 page views less than the number I get when I run the Site Metrics/Page Views report. Which number is correct and why is there such a large difference?Thank you.

In adobe help document,explanation about click to page is"  The number of clicks from a link on one page to access another page. For example, you click a link on the Home Page to access the Products Overview Page. In this instance, there are two clicks to navigate from the Home Page to the Product Page." According to this explanation , I think there should be only one click, why two ?If we count one click from external website to website,we can get two clicks. But then how to explain first page viewed and 1 click to page. Under this assumption, the values of these two rows  in report should be same . Actually, they are not same in report.

discover.jnpl after login is having lot of problems ("Ad Hoc Analysis quit unexpectedly." error message). Did anyone notice the same problem? is it any fix for that? I just upgraded my os to Mavericks, (i got Java 7 Update 45)

Hi,I notice that sometimes, the debugger tells me the wrong referring domains.I went to www.google.com and searched for my company keyword, then, clicked on the right link on the search result to land on our website. The DigitalPulse debugger did not tell me that the referring domain is www.google.com but instead, is the index page of our website. Why so?Besides that, I went to our company youtube channel and clicked on our website link on our youtube channel to come to our website. Again, DigitalPulse debugger did not tell me that I came from youtube. Thanks! 

We use both Google Analytics and Site Catalyst V15. Recently we have seen a big discrepancy in visits. We are experiencing extra 12-15% visits in Site Catalyst compare to Google Analytics. Historically, we saw around 4-5% difference, which is acceptable . Is there any reason for this increase?

Hello,what is Adobes recommendation how to update ReportBuilder? In the past, the recommendation was to uninstall the previous version and then install the update.Now, as there is a "Check for updates" option available, it seems that this is not necessary any more. Is this right?The background of my question: our IT wants to create a software package for every software, as users do not have local admin rights. It would be easier to install the new version only instead of two steps - uninstall/install. BRHans

We are using omniture analytics in our Appcelerator Titanium application. As per the Omniture documentation IOS crashes will be automatically logged. But we are not seeing any crash log reported in analytics for IOS. Please help me in solving this

As the measurement API provides singleton object, I was under impression that we should invoke clearVars() method for every track call. But the given example doesn't have invoke clearVars() method. Hi,I want to use realtime data with sdk lifecycle metrics, so I made processing rules to fill custom traffic variables and one event forOS version (a.osversion (context data)) (prop1)Device name (a.devicename (context data)) (prop3)Launches  (a.launchevent (context data)) (event1)All is working fine for launches and os version. But for device name there are no values in realtime report - but in normal custom traffic reports there are values!Any idea what is going wrong? Cheers,Michael

Hello Analytics Gurus,I am confused by the use of "Include" vs "Exclude" when creating segments in SiteCatalyst.For example, I created 2 segments in which the goal is to only include desktop visitors that did not visit 2 particular pages.I am getting 2 different results.The difference is that Segment 1 uses the "Include" tab and Segment 2 uses the "Include" and "Exclude" tabs.Visits Segment 1IncludeMobile Device Type is NullPageName does not equalPageName does not containVisits Segment 2IncludeMobile Device Type is NullExclude​PageName equalPageName contains​At the surface, it appears like the two segments should function the same.  Segment 1 only includes visits that fit the 3 include rules.Segment 2 includes desktop traffic and then excludes visits to the 2 particular pages from the included desktop traffic.What is the most accurate approach? Thanks!

Hello,google launched a new really cool feature in google analytics.Attribution modeling by click in a few seconds.See here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1662518?hl=enIs this also possible with sitecatalyst? Within the marketing channels I just have a "First Touch" and a "Last Touch" reporting. These two reports do not make really sense. Within google analytics it is possible to report a linear or position based attribution model by click. Also data driven attribution is possible.Is this kind of feature also planned for sitecatalyst? When will it be released?best regardsFalko
