How would I get the report of the instances of 2 different events, by day, that happened on a particular pagename? Sitecatalyst if possible?

We were looking at Adobe SiteCatalyst about retrieval methods we can have to get data for our reporting purpose. From the Adobe blogs we think DataWarehouse Data Feeds would be the suitable way to get the data form SiteCatalyst.Our requirement is that we want near real time data for our dashboards and DataWarehouse Data Feeds only allow daily feeds.“The data feeds are con­fig­ured at the report suite level and deliv­ered on a daily basis (con­tain­ing the hit data for the pre­vi­ous day)”From http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/analytics/how-to-get-data-in-and-out-of-sitecatalyst-part-ii/We wanted to know which method for data retrieval are you using and if there is any other way we can get the data form SiteCatalyst real time?Thanks.

We are using heavily omniture for tracking trafic on sites. There are many variables and properties in use. Now we have problem because of limit for GET request (for example IE is not supporting long URLs >2K/4K). If URL generated by function s.t() is too long then such requestes are not tracked at all! This case happend very often for Japanese pages where we need to encode in URL some Japanise texts from variables.What is the solution for this problem? Do you have fix for that? For instance function s.t() could split information from variables into few requests (few images) if the URL is longer than 2K?

Hi I am reading the "instructions to measure video that are displayed in the Flash Player." on http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/video/index.html#Flash_Video_Playback but this is chaotic and seems incomplete. For example the ActionScript Sample Code page uses parameters like:    s.charSet = "UTF-8";    s.currencyCode = "USD";    s.trackClickMap = true;that are not defined anywhere.The currencyCode is not even public property of the AppMeasurement class. Is there any complete Flash implementation reference? Thanks

Hi, I find that compare dates function is very useful for comparing the performance of the website. However, the function is limited to certain reports only.On the other hand, there is trend chart for all the calculated metrics comparing today data with data of the previous day and data of 1 week prior. It would be great if we can change the date of the comparison data. https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/user/index.html#Compare_datesThe above link says that we cannot use this function for trended report. Therefore, what do you think is the best way to compare key metrics report of different date range as we have comparable campaigns running at different time in a year?Thank you!

For your information, the tracking ID is tagged with an url posted on facebook and twitter. Using that report, I understand that there are about 26 thousands unique visitors who have clicked that URL that was tagged with that tracking ID. By breaking down for referring domains, I see that about 14.9k of unique visitors came from facebook while about 9k of unique visitors came by typing/bookmarking the url of my website. There are also many other random referring domains associated with this tracking ID.How could that happen if I put that URL with a tracking ID only on facebook and twitter? How to explain that? Does referring domain mean an immediate site that refer visitors to my website? Or it means any site prior to landing on my website? Is it correct that by breaking down a tracking ID by referring domain, what I see on the report is what website led visitors to my website via the URL that is tagged by a tracking ID.By that, I mean, if I see website A as a referring domain, I can s

I ran the Natural Keywords report on a segment and it spit out a report that has a list of keywords with a varying page views, but in the searches column, there is a 0. If these are the natural keywords for this segment, don't they have to have a search volume by definition? For example, this is what my results look like:DogPage views: 10Searches: 0CatPage Views: 20Searches: 5FoodPage views: 15Searches: 0 HELP!!!

We do several email marketing campaigns and some of them include links to download PDFs, is there a way to trigger SC tracking when you know the scode will not be loaded because I am not taking them to a page?I can't load custom link tracking because of javascript.  Is there actionscript you can embed in a PDF?  Any ideas?

In the Sitecatalyst Mobile Report > Operating system, there is no iOS anymore.  Moreover it seems that the data provided for Android seems to be the ones for iOS.see also attached screenshot 

We want to track our desktop application but I don't see any means of doing this? Any suggestions?

Hi there,We are getting different results between our Doubleclick advertising "clicks" and Omniture's "click-throughs".  We are tracking this via Campaign tracking keys and the differences in some cases are significantly different +80%.I know methodology-wise it can be different, but this is a huge discrepancy. Have you come across this before and can you confirm why this is? ThanksKaren

Where Can I found the user manual for Adobe Insight?

I have a technical need within SiteCatalyst to identify which mobile OS version that is reaching our corporate website. Currently, within "Mobile > Operating System" it will only display: iOS, Android, etc with no version number to be found.For example, within a user agent contains a lot of information that SiteCatalyst could technically slice, but it currently doesn't out of box. I validated if Google Analytics provides this type of data and I was able to prove that it does therefore I would suspect SiteCatalyst would have a method. I reached out to Client Care and I was told SiteCatalyst does not provide this data, because their third party partner Device Atlas doesn't provide it.It would be most appreciative if there was existing knowledge how I could at least capture the user agent data and slice it to identify the specific OS version number even if I have to write a custom plug-in. Dearest Forum,I have my GAIQ, but new to SiteCat.I have a couple question about this report.How do I interpret the page icons with the letter designations? I have a path that goes G>F>B>C>D.  If the letter represents the order in which pages are viewed, why are the letters not always sequential?  I have read documentation, but still confused:Letters indicate the order in which the pages were viewed.For example, the first page name in the report has a green arrow next to it, and is assigned the letter “A.” The second page name in the report is assigned the letter “B,” and so on. I'm learning Adobe Marketing Cloud on my own and have been asked to create a report for one of the sites i manage (a total of 3 in this family) to see which browsers are accessing the site. I have a report already that tells me which browsers are accessing all three sites. How do i create a browser report for JUST the one site?

According to the following link which was done on 2008,http://www.webmetric.org/white_paper/Unique_Visitors.pdfHow does SiteCatalyst track a visitor who uses multiple browsersSince browsers do not share cookies, SiteCatalyst tracks a visitor as unique for each browser used.I wonder if SiteCatalyst is able to recognize the same user when the user opens a new browser/a new window on the same computer/device.For example, at the same time, I open the same web page on chrome and firefox, would SiteCatalyst record me as the same unique visitor or different? (as SiteCatalyst does use ip tracking to recognize unique visitors)Please let me know. Hi, I'm trying to find out whether traffic to my page is running on a Windows 8 Surface device with an x86 or ARM processor. I thought that processor architecture might be a good way to determine this, but I was thinking that there might be other ways to tell. For instance, the Surface RT has a different screen resolution than the Surface RT Pro, but I couldn't find a way to do this.

Hello:I am working on an ios and android app, the developers for the ios app have successfully implemented most of our metrics, but we're having a problem with android that I don't know how to fix.  Pageviews are not populating for Android.  When I create a segment for Android Pageviews there isn't any data.  Also, when I go to the pageviews report under site metrics there isn't any data either.  Does anyone have any advice for me to tell my android developers?   Thank you in advance for any help you can provide! 🙂

I started implementation to Andorid App.We set up the Lifecyle Metrics and we are getting the default values.To implement the metrics we want like (orderId,login,registration,etc)What is the best practice?It is suggested that use the context data instead of eVars and props: I have read all the manuals about configuration Variables,Tracking variables,Methods,processing rules but I don't know where to start.For example to get login info or order info (metrics) I need to know how to do it.Best Regards

Now this list is reduced to only the first 5 videos. I know we've moved from 14 to 15, but these were extremely helpful. Any ideas on how I could find them?Thank you.
