How is the userIdentifier used within the iOS sdk v4.0  is this stored and sent back with lifecycle events?  We want to match lifecycle events to users of the app. The use scenario I envisage is that we would be able to implement a processing rule to pick up the userIdentifier and assign it to an eVar, and we could then pull reports for lifecycle events against userIdentifiers(eVar). Is this possible?

Hello,I have a couple of queries regarding dimensions in Insight.1 ) If I am using multiple query string parameters and concatenating all the values to create a dimension, is there a maximum limit to the number of such query string parameters that can be used ?e.g.QS(1) = A1 ... QS(2) = A2 ... QS(n) = A(n)The transformation concatenates the values in Dim1Dim1 = A1¦A2¦A3¦....¦An   ........... Does (n) have a upper limit ? Whats the best practice around this ? 2 ) What is the maximum possible length(in terms of # of characters ) for any element of a dimension ? I want to limit results of a monitor resolution report to just one page, but I don't see the option to do this. Instead I just get results from the entire site. Is there a way to limit this?

Hi Was wondering if anyone out there can help....... My company works in the travel industry and one of the product we provide is the function of buying a flight and hotel together. One of the advantages of this is that sometimes a visitor can save on a hotel if they buy the package together. What I want to be able to track is the following: The hotel which has the saving on it (accomodation code); the saving that they will make; the price of the package that they will pay. I am new to implementing but have been told by a colleague that I can use a context variable. Would anyone be able to tell me how I should write this please? Kind Regards Yaser

Google analytics's offer the ability to see how many people are on a website at any one time. See https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/realtime/v3/This looks like it would be a really useful feature so that we can see how external advertising such as email marketing, social media, viral activity and TV advertisement spots are affecting our current live web traffic at any one time.Am I missing something on Site Catalyst that will allow me to do this? Surely Google Analytics is not offering something that Omniture cannot offer?

Hello, I am trying to find revenue numbers from a SID code (for example: ISm20101209x005382).   Where can you find out the revenue number in the Adobe Site Catalyst?

I want to track exit links, but only for a single page and not the whole site.  When I try to build a segment it does not work.  Is there anyway that I can do this?

Hi there,I want to get an understanding around the full path journey involving a couple of the pages on the site.A couple of things:* I ran a 'full paths' report to find the bulk of the paths involving that particular page is only approx 4 pages, yet when I run an average page depth report for that same page, its telling me its 12 pages.* The full paths report tells me in the bulk of the journeys, this particular page is where the user exits from.  However, when I run a report on 'exit %", its only approx 20%? * Also, is there any way of running a full path report that isn't limited to the max of 8 pages?Please let me know.ThanksKaren

Currently I'm setting an onclick event for a specific exit link on my site that runs a typical s.tl() function - this simply records a custom link name into a prop so that we can track this button click.Unfortunately I recently realized that this prop is getting double counted (at least in the debugger) it's not only being set in the request being fired when the custom link track function is set off but also when the exit link is tracked. What's the proper way to track a prop along with an exit link? Should I not be running the s.tl() function on a true exit link with automatic exit link tracking enabled, assuming this will allow the prop to piggyback off of the exit link image request? I'm trying to add a section report to my dashboard. But before that, I have to filter the items shown in the report.Unfortunately, I found if I use "equal to TV" as my criteria, the results returned could be any of "TV", "tV", "Tv" and "tv" since it's case insensitive.Is there any solution to this problem? Or, if not, I hope adobe could consider adding this feature.

Hi all,I have noticed that there is always a high traffic from Switzerland appear in our Countries Report on global report suites BUT NOT on other individual report suites every day.There cannot be so much traffic coming from Switzerland while our company is based in Asia. Switzerland appears to be in the top 3 traffic source which cannot be true.We did check our akamai report but it does not show that much traffic from Switzerland. Is there any explanation for such weird situation? Thank you very much!

How would I get the report of the instances of 2 different events, by day, that happened on a particular pagename? Sitecatalyst if possible?

We are using heavily omniture for tracking trafic on sites. There are many variables and properties in use. Now we have problem because of limit for GET request (for example IE is not supporting long URLs >2K/4K). If URL generated by function s.t() is too long then such requestes are not tracked at all! This case happend very often for Japanese pages where we need to encode in URL some Japanise texts from variables.What is the solution for this problem? Do you have fix for that? For instance function s.t() could split information from variables into few requests (few images) if the URL is longer than 2K?

Hi I am reading the "instructions to measure video that are displayed in the Flash Player." on http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/video/index.html#Flash_Video_Playback but this is chaotic and seems incomplete. For example the ActionScript Sample Code page uses parameters like:    s.charSet = "UTF-8";    s.currencyCode = "USD";    s.trackClickMap = true;that are not defined anywhere.The currencyCode is not even public property of the AppMeasurement class. Is there any complete Flash implementation reference? Thanks

Hi, I find that compare dates function is very useful for comparing the performance of the website. However, the function is limited to certain reports only.On the other hand, there is trend chart for all the calculated metrics comparing today data with data of the previous day and data of 1 week prior. For your information, the tracking ID is tagged with an url posted on facebook and twitter. Using that report, I understand that there are about 26 thousands unique visitors who have clicked that URL that was tagged with that tracking ID. By breaking down for referring domains, I see that about 14.9k of unique visitors came from facebook while about 9k of unique visitors came by typing/bookmarking the url of my website. There are also many other random referring domains associated with this tracking ID.How could that happen if I put that URL with a tracking ID only on facebook and twitter? How to explain that? Does referring domain mean an immediate site that refer visitors to my website? Or it means any site prior to landing on my website? Is it correct that by breaking down a tracking ID by referring domain, what I see on the report is what website led visitors to my website via the URL that is tagged by a tracking ID.By that, I mean, if I see website A as a referring domain, I can s
