Our legal department will soon require that we have multiple types of unsubscribes based on the content inside the email or by brand.For example, if I send an email about a "specific event" we sponsor, we need to provide the option to unsubscribe from that "specific-event" type of emails. We also need to keep the ability to unsubscribe from all. Or maybe we need to allow the recipient to unsubscribe from our consumer brand, but not from our business brand. Is there currently a way to do this within Marketo Unsubscribe functionality? We could manually add it in the footer of each email. However, to use with the “Send Marketo email” functionality within SFDC, our legal  department requires that the unsubscribe not be editable by the sales. If not available in Marketo, is there a way to code the email so that it is not editable within SFDC? Our experience is that removing the "mktEditable" codes from the email, doesn't prevent it from being edited it in SFDC.

I'm building our segmentation for our Sales Dev Reps based off their territory. Either they own the lead or its owned by a queue and I have a formula field in SFDC to detect territory. I'm wondering if I can even build this out based off an SFDC formula field. Will Marketo detect when the formula field changes and update the segmentation? I couldn't find any confirmation that Marketo could do this. Can anyone confirm? I really want this territory formula field to work for our dynamic emails. Thanks!

Does anyone have any workaround ideas for how to switch your communication limits across workspaces? We want our support team to be able to send multiple emails in a day if need be to our customers but that conflicts with our everyday marketing communication limits. Hi,I have about 400 articles in my DPS 2015 App that need to be updated regularly.The Indesign sources are being updated by colleagues.Currently I update the DPS-2015 articles individually: I open Indesign, I export the .article file, I open the portal, I'm looking for the related article, I mark it, I choose "Replace content", I choose "update content", I search for the previously written .article file and refer them, I click "Finish", I wait until "in progress" disappears, I publish the content.This may be acceptable for individual articles. For many items that need to be updated frequently, it is very time consuming and tedious.Are there perhaps faster ways?Thank youHans

I'm hoping that this is a stupid question and easily answered.I'm experimenting with Marketo's REST API, and familiarizing myself with the documentation. I just got to the part about Marketo custom objects (Marketo REST APIs: Custom Objects » Marketo Developers )I see that I can get a list of, or create/update/delete records for a particular custom object. However, how do I create a new type (class?) of custom objects to begin with? For example, according to the documentation, I can create a new "car" with the VIN number, make/model etc. by making an API call to <REST API Endpoint URL>/rest/v1/customobjects/cars.json. But, how can I create the custom object "car" in the first place?

I want to be able to put data in place of the tokens without having to schedule a send.

Hi community,What I'm trying to do is locate the Opportunity number into a Data Value so I can later use that to loop through all open opportunities and find the correct one. Once I've got the opportunity I can then retrieve all information on that record.The campaign will run over multiple weeks and if a new opportunity pops up, I still want to use the old one. I've managed to create the email scripting in Velocity, but apparently I'm running into Marketo problems. Anyone have an idea why we can't use Email Scripting tokens in Change Data Value flow steps?

Hi All,At a previous company we had a large list of Leads and we wanted to randomly send out communications to a certain amount per day (ie we had a list of 10,000 and wanted to send to 100 of them per day). Now, my current company wants to duplicate the program and I was wondering if my old flow is the best way to accomplish this (it's been a while since I last used Marketo, so not sure if there have been any breakthroughs). My main concern is having to manually change the random sample percentage every couple of days. We are going to set up this campaign for every SDR, so scalability is an issue. We had a few rich snippets with custom HTML that were working perfectly fine before. But now, when we made changes to the snippets, some HTML does not save. I setup my app and all collections in it to open as a content view !!! but not working !!! My company would like to create campaigns in Salesforce and export them to Marketo. As far as I know, it is only possible to do this in reverse (create Marketo campaigns and export to Salesforce). I know that this is not possible using Marketo's API. But could there be some other way to do this?

Ok, I was looking at this yesterday with our Marketo success coach, and it looked easy peasy. However, now that I'm sitting down to do it by myself I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add program costs to each of my programs. I know it's right in front of my face, but I don't see it and I can't find any Marketo documentation to tell me where it's at. Help! Thank you.
