Hi there,this week I successfully setup the general connection between Marketo and GoToWebinar. Then I created a test webinar within GoToWebinar and Marketo and also successfully connected them to each other.During a first test, someone registered via the Marketo form for this webinar. Then the respective smart campaign sets the Program Status to Registered.As far as I understood, now the person should also appear within the registrants list in GoToWebinar. But he does not.Does anyone have an idea what I may have missed setting up?Best regards,Katrin 

I've got a request from some higher-ups to send them a weekly report on how many people fill out one operational form I have; this form is purely operational and is a local asset in a program with the "Operational" channel (all this program does is it sends confirmation emails to people who submitted the form and add them into a list).Now management wants to get a report with just the number of form fill outs per day (new names, old names, doesn't matter). To them it sounds like a very simple request, but I found it is actually not that easy to achieve through Mareketo analytics. RCE seems to be the best solution, since I can run program membership report (I assign everyone who filled out the form Operational->Member status), but for some reason I do not see this one program in the RCE.And yes, the program does have period cost and analyic behavior = Inclusive (regardless of period cost). We are currently running an A/B test as part of an Email Program and wanted to double-check that our Smart Campaigns to change the Program Statuses are working correctly.I did what I normally do in this case and created a Smart Campaign within the Email Program that would send the email to just my email address; however, my email address appears as blocked and I'm unable to send it to anyone other than me, as well.Is this because the winner hasn't been chosen? Or it is because it's an A/B Test program?

I need to delete several thousand leads. I've identified them outside Marketo and have a list ready to go. What do I do next in order to match my outside list with the Marketo leads in order to delete the Marketo leads?

Hi Community,I'm new to using the SFDC Campaign Sync have a quick question about removing members.  If I wanted to remove a member of a SFDC campaign that was synced to a Marketo program, would using the flow step: Change Program Status - Status = Not in Program both remove them from being a member of that Marketo program and remove them from being a member of the SFDC campaign associated with that program?  I tested this out on a handful of leads and their program status was changed, but they have yet to be removed from the SFDC campaign...just curious if it's a delay in syncing Marketo/SFDC or if I am missing a step to do this.Thanks in advance!-Val

Ever since Marketo changed and added the calendar option, I now don't know how to change the name of programs. Anyone figure it out?

Dear all,We try to hide only the caption of a field if the field content is empty. a) The following code will hide the entire raw (entire field including caption). What should we change to the code to only hide the caption?-------------------------------------------------------if(this.rawValue == null){  this.presence ="hidden"}-------------------------------------------------------b) Another option would be to use conditional formatting -> change caption text to white colored text,  if the field content is empty to make it invisible on the printout.Is there any options in ALD available or which code should be used to realize one of the above options?Thank you in advance!Kind regards,Roy

I'm trying to set up a webhook on a 3rd party site (g2crowd, in this case) to repost their forms into marketo. I've created a marketo form with the fields they're asking for, put that on a landing page, and provided them that link, letting them know what my API names are for each field. They say that they get a response from the server when I try to test it, but the leads aren't coming in, I think because I'm missing some extra hidden fields.Essentially, I'm looking for documentation like this: Do It: How to repost an externally hosted form ... | Oracle Community , but for Marketo. I've tried searching docs.marketo.com, but all I find is really beginner-level "what is a webhook?" kind of documents. Anyone able to help with this?Thanks!

Does anyone have a good strategy for dealing with legacy leads with unknown acquisition sources?My database contains thousands of leads that were acquired years ago before I got here. Some of them are still engaging with us, but no acquisition/lead source was every identified. Does anyone have a strategy as to how you deal with these types of leads when reporting on them?Perhaps attributing them to the first campaign that you can be certain they participated in (even if it wasn't the original source), or simply tagging them with "Lead Source Unknown".As I work to improve our reports, this is something I am struggling with because the percentage of our database with unknown lead sources is significant.Appreciate any suggestions!Steve

do email addresses become invalid from soft bounces?  If so, should I have a trigger campaign to change them back to false?

I've seen references to A/B design testing for landing page but have not seen anything related to A/B design testing for emails in a program. Does this functionality exist?  If so, can anyone provide insight on how to set it up?

If a lead is in Marketo with first name, last name and company name (no email address), is it considered known? Can it also have program statuses and have its opportunity data sync with Marketo's Program Analyzer?

This help doc shows an example of iterating over Custom Objects in an email script: http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/email-scripting/They've got Custom Objects named "Events", and in the script reference `foreach( $event in $EventsList )`, but they never explain why the variable name for the list of Events is EventsList. Is it just always "NameOfCustomObjectList", or did they configure that variable to that data somewhere, and not mention it? Thanks!

Hello!I just started using dynamic content in emails. I used a segmentation with 3 segments. Once I send the email, is there a way to see how many leads received content from segment A vs. segment B vs. segment C?

I'm hoping the answer to this is not REST/SOAP API's as... I'm clueless as to how to use them.I'm looking to create a field "Contract End Date", pull the data from SFDC with user emails, and manually update it in Marketo.First crazy idea - make a form and enter them manually (I currently only have 20 that needs updates). Is there a better way?  Perhaps creating a list that has their email address + new field data?  Would that cause it to recognize the email and pull in the new data into Marketo?Hope this makes sense!-Eric

We uploaded a lead list and suddenly it scored every contact in the list at a 50.  I don't know why this happened, as it never has done it before.  Two questions.  Should we just delete the list and start again, or is there a way to "re-score" the contacts back to either a zero or whatever their demographic score would be?Thanks!Penn

Is there a useful/scalable method for showing a Known Lead at least one field via custom HTML in a 2.0 form? The use case would be this:Visitor to our site is a known lead, but we want them to be able to enter a datetime in an "Appointment date"  field for a sales consultation, and ensure it displays persistently as an editable field.

I am trying to find out more information about a specific "refer a friend" campaign. We are ultimately trying to incentivize the audience by sending an email asking them to forward our email to friends and encourage those friends to sign up for our webinar. The plan is to somehow piece together when someone registers for the webinar and person that forwarded them the email with the registration link. Is this possible?

Hello,Just want to clear something up.If I create a Marketo email with a link, and then use a smart campaign to send it out to a list of Internal Employees, and than those internal employees forward the email to their respective clients, will that have an adverse effect on reporting?If one of the clients clicks the forwarded email, which was intended for an internal employee, will Marketo recognize that it's a new person or will the cookies in the email lead Marketo to believe that the original recipient is clicking the link?Thanks!
