Hi all. I am trying to better understand how Marketo is able to change data values in an opportunity (if at all). I understand from the following article (https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KytE&src=comm) that Marketo can use opportunity data from SFDC for filters and triggers in smart lists. But is it possible to create/update opportunities in the flow section? For example, create a new opportunity, update a custom field on a particular opportunity, change the stage of an opportunity, etc. I don't see our opportunity fields availble in the drop down list under the "Change Data Value" flow step, which leads me to feel that this is likely not possible :(Any ideas how? Thanks, Justin

There are two filters available (Acquisition Program and Acquisition Program Name), but only Acquisition Program Name appears in the lead record and is available as a column in the lead views.  What is the difference between these?

How do you make the initial value on a dropdown field blank and have that trigger the required notification if the lead does not select a value?

Hello, this is a newbie question, but I need to send out an e-blast to a list of people on a CSV file. I uploaded the CSV list and created a list under "My List" in the lead database section. Then I create a new e-blast program, which trigger do I use in the smart campaign so the email is going to the list of people i uploaded?Thanks for your time.

I need to add a small disclaimer at the bottom of each landing page we have. They are all using a common form and I was wondering if there was a way to add the disclaimer into the form so it automatically applies to all the landing pages or do i need to go and edit each of the 134 landing pages that exist??

We'd like to see the progression status of program members in the Program Membership Analysis report.  Is there a way to add Progression Status as an available field to this Revenue Cycle Explorer report?

Does this include archived programs?

When you first launched Marketo, how did you plan your data upload?  We have four CRM systems plus other data sources.  Did you map priorities using a specific tool?

Maybe we didn't do this the "right" way, but anyways I use a snippet for our landing page copyright/footer info.Now that it is lovely 2013, I am updating this snippet. Great.Is there a faster way to approve ALL the landing pages using this snippet than just 1-by-1? Is there a different method we should have used on our landing pages to create that copyright notice?

I am new to marketo.... As far as a "Best Practice" is concerned... For sales reps to send content on demand, is it recommended to use landing pages or emails for content delivery?

Actually.. you know what. Never mind - even if I could achieve this.. what sense does it make in sending two identical emails addressed to two people to the one inbox? (even if they do share that address). Will find another solution.  Bit of a fudge going on here. Hoping to use Marketo to invite people to update their details on a database we have that isn't SFDC. Many of the records use a generic email address. Record A and Record B both have the same email. If I import this to a local list, Marketo will ignore Record B if it has found Record A already has that email address.I can create a dummy column of Email Address, filled sequentially - Record A's email address is '1', Record B's email address is '2'. Both Record A and B will now successfully import. Alternatively I can leave Email Address blank, and they'll all import. I suppose I know the answer to my question. Hi there,  I  received a failed upload message while trying to replace a PDF with a PDF.Here is a screenshot of the error:They are both PDF documents, but for some reason the file in Marketo is associated with "application/download" - even though the file name is .pdf.I have searched around but cannot seem to find any info on how to make an upload into "application/download" or change the existing PDF that resides in Marketo to "application/pdf" so I can replace it.  Any advice? Thanks!

Hi everyone-I'm wondering about the best practice for syncing leads to salesforce across multiple campaigns. Currently we have a single campaign that looks at all new created leads and based on some basic criteria in a smart list, pushes leads to SFDC using a simple flow. My question is this: should we be doing this on a per-campaign level as opposed to having a master "Sync to SFDC" campaign? I can imagine the logic within this single campaign getting very complex. Also, I'm wondering if some camapaigns take precedence over others. For example, if I exclude leads from syncing to SFDC in the master "Sync to SFDC" campaign based on smart list criteria, does that prevent those leads from EVER syncing, even if I set up another campaign to explicity sync those leads?Thanks a ton,Alan McCarty

So I have researched the forum to answer the question of how to make certain fields in a form required if a value is entered in another designated field, and not required if no value is entered in the designated field.For example:There is a field titled QTY_paper, and if a value is entered into QTY_paper, then the field PROGRow1 should become required.If no value is entered into QTY_paper, then PROGRow1 is not required.I've tried both FormCalc and Javascript, but with no results. In FormCalc I added this script as a mouseExit event on QTY_paper:if ($.isNull == 0) then     //Make the budget field Required     PROGRow1.validate.nullTest = "error";endifand then I added this script in FormCalc to the mouseExit event on PROGRow1:if ($.isNull == 0) then$.validate.nullTest = "disabled"endifThis came almost verbatim from another post on the forum, so I'm thinking I'm missing something obvious here... which isn't too odd as I'm still pretty new at adding the scripts. Please help if you can!

Good Day All;I think there might be a simple answer to this, but, I have yet to find it.In a form I have designed I have a drop down box (in a table cell) where the user can select from a number of entries. One of the entries is to long for the amount of space for the field. I am trying to figure out how to get the text to wrap and the cell to expand. I have putting a check mark in the “expand to fit” (under layout tab). This seems to work on the “text” fields  (along with checking off  allow for multiple lines).Is there a way to get the text to wrap in a drop down list?Thanks all Chomp

Hello,I have a subform that is bound to a node in XSD which will have mutilate occurrences at runtime. The subform has just one textfield which prints the name of such item. My form has three pages and I need to use this same subform on Page 1 and Page2. Problem is that it works on Page1 but does not work on Page 2.Form is designed as follows"Page1SubForm -- RepeatingNodeSubformPage2SubForm-- RepeatingNodeSubform.XML is as follows<Employee>     <Name> XXX </Name>     <SSN></SSN>     <DOB></DOB></Employee><Employee>     <Name> YYY</Name>     <SSN></SSN>     <DOB></DOB></Employee>RepeatingNodeSubform on Page1 works fine but on page2 does not display anything. If bound to another repeating node, it works on Page2.What could be an issue? Also, is there any restriction such as on the same form there can not be two subforms bound to the same node?Thanks in advance!

Have been looking for a work around for this problem for awhile now but can't seem to get anywhere. Is it possible to have fonts bigger than 72pt? If not that is a massive fail.

Hi,I'm guessing there's a way to programmatically check if any field has been entered when the form loads.  Some sort of loop should do the trick...I've tried using the following code (from dohanlon for another purpose) which should run through all form fields, but I can't seem to plug it into an if/else statement or even check for any non-null value.  xfa.resolveNodes("form1..#field[*]");Here's conceptually how I'd like to do it:if (xfa.resolveNodes("form1..#field[*\]".rawValue != null  ) {do it}I'm basically trying to check if any field is not null, then I can "do something".  I know I can't use that to check .rawValue but I can't think of anything else.  I would appreciate any help (as always). 

hello,i was wondering how to create such drop down list action in Adobe Livecycle that when i choose one List Item it shows certain text fields under to it.ie.im having one drop down list that is having 2 List Items 1st is Yes and 2nd is NO.Now, if i want to show some text fields under to it when i choose Yes and hide some text fields when i choose No, what do i have to do?also wanted to know that how to show text fields in popup box when i choose Yes.thanks in advance!

Is it possible to hide the yellow box that appears when you scroll over any object in the form? This box contains the item name or caption.
