Hi All,  Can you all help/provide some insight on how I can push data to the ACDL from the frontend? My existing W3C data layer is broken and missing crucial information, so I want to implement a patch fix using the ACDL. I plan to capture the information from the frontend and push it to the ACDL.Steps I followed :1.Created a data element using custom code for the click event.2.Implemented a rule in Events using the ACDL extension to push the data.3.In Actions, add the condition for pushing ACDL to the data layer and map the created data element.Data is still not being pushed to the dataLayer, or I might be implementing it incorrectly. Please guide me if I am making any mistakes in the steps.I've followed the documents available on the internet : https://github.com/adobe/adobe-client-data-layer/wiki   

Hi everyone,As far as I know, there should be a URL parameter included in our thankYouURL. I have seen this URL parameter appear in our thankYouURL from time to time, but it does not always show up.Are there any specific requirements that need to be fulfilled for an aliId to be added to the thankYouURL? For example:Does the form need to be on a Marketo landing page?Does the form need to be on an external landing page?Will the aliId only appear if there is no _mkto_trk cookie present?Does the ThankYouPage URL need to be on an external page?Etc.Do you know more about this?In the end, I want to extract the aliId from the ThankYouPageURL using JavaScript. Is there a way to view the source code of the previous versions of topics?I can see how to view the preview in both Assets and XML Editor, we can see the metadata, we can compare two versions, but we'd like to be able to view the Source of older versions? Is that possible? If not, can that be added as a feature in future versions?

Hi Team, I was working on to design a data model for content fragment model and got stuck on for a field which needed one multifield like structure as: one multifield with 3 different fields for social links. I gone thru many articles and blog with custom implementation but somehow it did not worked for me.I did try reference as well but it is again not suitable. can anyone suggest any alternative to achieve the same. One question is larking in my mind what actually happens at the background when we restart the AEM server from remote server access SSH tool like Putty or Gitbash and from OSGi console. To restart AEM from OSGi console we use following path.OSGi Console -------> Web Console Tab -----> System Information ------> We get options to restart and stop the server.or we can use following path to directly reach the pagePath ------> http://localhost:4502/system/console/vmstat To restart from remote server access SSH tool, we can use following command. sudo /bin/systemctl restart httpd  Can anyone please let me know what is the significance of each type of restart and what are the Ideal use cases for these types of operations.Thank You.

Hi, I am currently helping to enhance a function,  we are using AEMaaCS. it will do the following: 1. We have a customized form component for users to upload an asset with some other fields2. The form will send a post call to a servlet, the servlet will:    2.1 Save the uploaded file to a DAM folder using AssetManager    2.2 Create a review task with TaskManager The function works well when using the author instance to test. However, in the publish instance it does not work. I already know that in AEMaaCS, the publish instance is read-only, and cannot write files directly into publish DAM. My question is, is there any way to enable the servlet in the author instance for anonymous access without login for the POST call? Or is there any way to do it in the servlet layer? i.e. when the publish instance receives the call, run the AssetManager and TaskManager in the author instance? If so, I can make an Ajax call fro

Hi, We are using MSM for managing multiple regional websites, we have 9 websites in total with respect to blueprint and we are using "push on modify", "activate on blueprint activation", "deactivate on blueprint deactivation". push on modify is very inconsistent over the pages, some times it sync with some of child pages and some times it doesn't(I am trying over same page again and again). We are using OOTB rollout configs. 

Hi, We are migrating from ACP Mobile SDK to AEP Mobile SDK, and would like to migrate all the trackState/Action calls to sendEvent API. Since there is an extensive data structure defined in the existing Context Data, we are not planning to convert them into the XDM structure on the client side code, and will use sendEvent API to send the existing Context Data instead, and then use Data Prep in Data Stream to map the Context Data fields to the XDM Analytics fields (in this way we can take out all the processing rules in AA). Is the above a good pratice or there's any potential drawbacks? Especially on using sendEvent API to send Context Data instead of XDM. Thanks,John 

Hi, Client has a requirement to display three screens, each screen will have set of questions and user entered need to carried across different screens / stateful. How would you do this in AEM. My consideration is this would be a react or angular component that need to be rendered somehow on aem page.Does anyone had these kind of requirement, implemented ? Any useful links or guidance on this helps. Thanks,Sri

Any idea why a user might not see the Proofing options after uploading a files to their Documents section of Workfront? I have attached a screenshot of what they should see but I have one particular user that does not see those option appear. I am thinking it is an access/permissions issue. Thanks so much!

I have written a custom clientlib that fills in the title on the creation of a page based on the name of the page.What you get by default: no title --> create button disabledWhat you get if you type a title manually --> create button enabledWhat you get if you try to set te value using a clientlib --> create button IS disabled but value set in the textFieldThis is my clientlib code:setTimeout(setTitle, 3000);function setTitle() { let title = document.querySelector(titleTextFieldSelector); title.value = "Value from clientlib";}If I remove the timeout and let it execute straight away the value also gets populated and the button is enabled. Why is this happening if I use a timeout?NOTE: I am using a timeout here instead of the on input event on the name field just to keep things simple for this post Thanks in advance!

I made below changes in filter.xml file:<filter root="/etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/" mode="update"/> There are certain rollout-configs listed under path /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/rollout-config-sample has some value for 'editMap' property at editProperties node ( /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/rollout-config-dealer/jcr:content/editProperties).rollout-config-sample is not part of the code base and I did some modification in editMap value for which I created a package and Installed on the server. After each deployment, my modified value gets overwritten even though I've set mode="update".I was expecting it to add the new content while keeping the existing value in place.Could anyone please help me understand why mode="update" didn't work as expected here or I understood it wrong?

Is there any documentation on integration between Adobe Target and Microsoft clarity? We need to analyze page scroll depth, but it is not something that is available in Adobe Analytics whereas it is available in Microsoft Clarity.

Good morning all,We are upgrading our current project's AEM SDK version (AEMaaCS) from 2023.7.12697.20230713T151945Z-230601 to 2023.11.14227.20231108T162349Z-231100, however, when we do so, we are getting build errors when running unit tests against code that uses the Jackson ObjectMapper.  These errors are not present and the tests pass in the current project.  It is only when we upgrade the SDK version that we receive these errors. This seems like a breaking change, but I don't see anything documented from Adobe on this.  Has anyone experienced this issue?  Any suggestions on a resolution? The errors are below.  I have adjusted the namespace and class names purposefully. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/fasterxml/jackson/databind/util/internal/PrivateMaxEntriesMap$Builderat com.project.project.core.models.ClassNameTest.setResponseFromJson(ClassNameTest.java:591)at com.project.project.core.models.ClassNameTest.setUp(ClassNameTest.java:87

I am capturing value of getNewRepeat in an eVar with edge network Web SDK implementation. I am getting all the instance values as either 'New' or 'Repeat' which means my implementation is correct. However, against Unique Visitor metric I see unspecified values which are also in addition to total of New and Repeat visitors.  Why is this happening?  

Hi allI am trying to fix/investigate a file generated via a Report Builder schedule which was created probably 8 or so years ago.The original owner is still in the business, but does not have the detail needed.The report uses a metric "popularity" which is a calculated metric.However, no matter where we look, we cannot find this metric - it's not in metrics manager, it's not on his or anyone else's accounts.And now, when I try and edit the report builder, it removes the metric, so I cannot make any edits without breaking the file!(I am trying to investigate an unrelated problem with the file, but won't be able to, as I can't risk breaking the original file.)Does anyone have any smart ideas on how to find this metric?

Is there a way to route a form fill to a specific thank you page based on the URL where the form lives? We are hosting our landing pages on the CMS and would like to prevent the creation of multiple forms.
