Help me!! I may have created a blunder. I wanted to make changes to the smart lists in two approved segments for job roles and job levels. Without realizing that I have to create a draft and approve them, I simply unapproved the segments and made edits to the smart lists. I can see that when I edited the smart lists, the number of people in the segment was unaffected.What do I do now? How do I go from here?Please help. Thank you.

I tried to go through Adobe documents/links and some questions on this forum, but all the links have expired and there is no concrete information around best practices. Hi,Hope someone can provide some clarification on the below.In Analysis Workspace, in dimensions, we see "Paid Search". I believe this is different to "Paid Search" set in Marketing Channel configurations.Question is, how is this report configured and what's the definition of the 2 items (paid, natural) displayed within this report? Hi All,We have a requirement to store the asset reports which are available OOTB in the custom dam location. I know we have the option to schedule it manually from the report console but I want my schedular to call the asset report generation and store in the dam location.

I hvave more than 800000 images in the dam. When I publish or unpublish a page, AEM will auto find the reference imges for this page,  it will take a lot of time. Does anyone know the proper text mode to group an hour report by source / parent task? It's available as a column but not a grouping and I can't figure out the correct text mode myself.

Hi, In AEM 6.5, we have an OOTB solution in AEM sites to archive a page before deleting it and restoring it later; however, can we achieve the same for content fragment before deleting it? Is there any OOTB way? If not, what is the alternative? Archive option when deleting a page:  Thanks

Core Components should be used in place of Foundation Components, as they have multiple advantages.But my question is whether there is any use case where a Foundation Component is preferred to a Core Component? 2, Are Core Components available for all Foundation Components or for some of them they are not there and so we need to mandatorily use Foundation Component? I highly appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.

I am looking into Venia reference site built using cif. If a page is not created for product, it creates virtual page from the template for the url if the product exist. I am curious to know how the translation for these pages will work if we want to use translation engine in aem? Since actual page does exist and I try to hit fr page  then it will still be picking the template from en version. As any one used cif with translations or else give pointers? What’s are the best practices for handling translations with cif and Venia reference website?

I'm using AEM 6.4 with SP3. I'm currently having trouble adding components to a page and editing existing components in Touch UI. For some reason the add component icon doesn't appear on the main parsys on the page: Additionally, the edit component button isn't appearing either: For some reason, I can edit the content in classic mode, so this looks like it's a Touch UI issue. I have been using this author for around six months with no prior issues. This error occurred after a deployment this morning, which I have tried reverting with no success. The code in that deployment was fairly innocuous: just a minor change to a HTL file. I have also tried restarting the server. I cannot see any errors in the console or in the error log. Any thoughts on what the cause of this might be?

I have a local campaign server setup in my machine but email server is not configured,i can download any free smtp server for mail but dont know how to configure it.Please let me know if there is any documentation for the same, i could not find one.

Hi,  I would like to import some data from Salesforce to dataset which is enabled to a profile. However some records (4 out of 10000) are empty. CrmId which is primaryId cannot be empty. Is there any way to debug this at the Adobe site. I see there options:a) put some dummy data into my crmId - I am okay with this. However which data prep functions to use? b) delete these rows at Adobe's side - I didnt not see any functionality for thisc) debug this at Salesforce side - it may take some time (I would not be responsible for this)Empty records: Thanks Mike

We have user data flowing into AEP Dataset created using schema. The schema is populated by data collection tags rules.We have observed that there is some internal traffic which is disturbing user profiles stitching. We are now looking to exclude the internal traffic using IP exclusion. I think there can be two ways to achieve this:1. Develop need to add a flag(True/False) based on matching IP ranges and exclude it either in rule condition to restrict edge network call or exclude while creating audience segment using flag response.2. Write a custom code in AEP extension to check IP ranges and abort. Any reference about which approach should work best and what should be the code if we go the second way. Also, do we need to implement user consent for IP address validation.

Adobe gives guidelines for setting Visitor Engagement Period and advises "minimizing" this period.They give suggestions stating if you sell things like socks, use 3 days or more expensive items like cars, use longer! My company is more of the sock world but we have the default 30 days. Any recommendations of what your orgs use for the period?
