Can Adobe please confirm the exact behavior of dispatcher during concurrent requests for the same page, when that page is either expired or not yet cached? Will Adobe CQ receive multiple concurrent requests for the same resource? Or will dispatcher only request a rerender once, have subsequent requests wait until that has completed, and then serve the same response to all requests which had accumulated up to the completion of the rerender? Or, for those resources which have expired, will dispatcher serve the previously cached version to concurrent incoming requests while it is waiting for CQ to complete rerendering it?For example, mod_cache and varnish documentation are both very explicit about the mechanisms they offer to ensure that the origin server (CQ) never receives concurrent requests for the same resource, but I am unable to find this information in the current dispatcher documentation. Any clarification is greatly appreciated!

Hi,I am putting my acls in format allow;jcr:all;product;/content in Day CQ Acl Setup xml file. I need to restrict certain pages for some groups but allow most of the other pages to be editable. All these pages are within the same hierarchy. When i allow access of jcr:all to the parent then those access are being inherited by child pages irrespective of the fact that i have also defined jcr:read for child pages. I moved these permission one after another and reversed the order as well but nothing seems to affect at all. I was using useradmin screen to view my changes and using 5.6.1 AEM instance.There has been an observation where if you provide more access to a group and then remove access then you have to manually change the user permissions from the user admin screen. I downgraded the permission but that did not affect at all as well.I looked at the documentation at link but seems a bit unclear on the inheritance front.When you set allow or deny permission on a given node then 3 scen

Purpose: I want to refresh parsys component after deleting child component in it.So far, after insert component into parsys there is Extjs function to refresh the parsys, just configure as below under [parsys/cq_editConfig/cq:listener]<cq:listeners jcr:primaryType="cq:EditListenersConfig" afteredit="REFRESH_SELF" afterchildinsert="REFRESH_SELF"/> But there is no [afterchilddelete] function to configure.Thanks :)

Hi,when working with Content Fragments or Templates and we modify them (as AEM devs), the property cq:lastModified gets updated accordingly after publishing locally.We then need to make sure that cq:lastReplicated is present and not older than cq:lastModified. This process is conducted manually by developers. Is there a way to have the values of cq:lastModified and cq:lastReplicated to change, but only when editors make updates (last modified) and push those updates (last replicated)? Thanks,Tina 

Hi Everyone, I am trying to classify page load time into a group. for e.g. if the page load time is between 0 to 3 sec then it should come under 0-3. If it is between 4 to 6 sec then it will come under 4-6 and so on and so forth. So, what should be the 'select rule type' and 'Enter match criteria' in the classification rule builder?

I have a Custom Component with a path browser to the CF's . However when I send this component for Translation the content Fragment that is being referred does not attach to the project for Translation. I have defined the rules in the below in the config file but it does not seem to work. HiNeed to create global header and footer components which would have dialog for properties which can be updated by author and changes should be reflected across the all pages .We used design dialog to implement above functionality but issue with using design dialog is that it created properties per template,and that spoils our purpose of giving author a functionality to update global values .Is there a better way to achieve above functionality

Hey! Has anybody written a marketo breakdown on the changes coming to how google and yahoo mark spam?    In the "Sender Reputation" section of this article they mention "IP" but I believe most marketo customers are on shared IPs. Does this mean others sends put us at risk of being cast into the black hole of google and yahoos spam filters?    Correct me if I am wrong but..."Starting February 1, 2024, if a bulk-sending organization has an abuse complaint rate of 0.3% or higher, Google and Yahoo will automatically block all messages coming from that organization."   would be a death sentence for many organizations' email programs if their targets use Gmail or Yahoo.    Google defines bulk senders as "senders who send more than 5,000 messages per day to Gmail accounts must meet the requirements in this section."Is this per day, or averaged across a period of time?    Same with the spam rate of .3%. Hi,I am planning to create a job that uploads user profiles to Target using the Bulk Profile Update API.I learned that the Production database contains around 9 million users.Is it something that Target can store? (I am planning to upload those files in batches to meet the Bulk Profile Update API limitations and update them regularly)

We are enabling dispatcher caching on author (AEM 6.5 AMS). We have set enableTTL as 1. Caching is working fine for us. But the issue comes when we need to clear the cache on demand.We are using ACS AEM Commons Dispatcher Cache Control Header - Max Age. The cache gets cleared automatically when the max age is reached but we need the provision to clear the cache whenever required. I have tried using Postman but it didn't work for us as Adobe documentation says "When the enableTTL flag is set and there is a corresponding <filename>.ttl file present in the cache, .stat files will not be considered when determining whether or not the requested <filename> is stale." Is there a way we can clear the entire cache?

As an architect, what are the steps we need to follow to increase the page performance ? 1: Check the network tab to see the list of image file size. If its too huge, ask Author to correct.2: Use the defer keyword while calling the JavaScript.3: Check the Adobe Launch script.4: Use the lazy loading feature for the different core components.5: Enable minification in production. Anything else, we need to take care?

We are leveraging an AJO custom action to integrate our journey with an internal API. This API takes a datetime argument in UTC format as follows: yyyy-MM-ddT HH:mm:ss.SZ (ie. 2023-12-01T23:59:59.000Z). We are attempting to use the nowWithDelta() function within the request parameters of this custom action. The challenge we are running into is the function returns a datetime more precise than what is accepted by the API. The example below will return a value of 2023-11-14T13:15:58.408771377Z: nowWithDelta(7, "days", "UTC") What I'm hoping someone can help with is formatting this datetime to return a datetime with precision at milliseconds. From the example above, that would be  2023-11-14T13:15:58.409Z. Is there a way to do this formatting with functions available in AJO custom action request parameters?

Hi all... I would like to make use of the core components (V 2.11.0) into my AEM project (V 6.5.4). I added the wcm components core, config and content dependencies into my poms and tried to extend the v1/container component, but I have the following error, "com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.LayoutContainer cannot be resolved to a type". I'm kind of lost here since my experience with AEM has been brief. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if this is possible but i have 100 pages with the exact same template and content and i want to make a change in all of them do i have to manually add the change to each one of them individually or is there a way to change one and apply changes to all of them (i am changing existing html elements and adding new, content stuff and block position changes mainly) Thank you

We have a scenario where we want to filter all those customer profiles in AEP based on comparison of an attribute(Not on Primary key) between different events present for those profiles.This can be done through SQL group by function however we want to achieve through AEP segment is there way to accomplish?

I have in the past on other DAM systems been able to have the system email a vendor (or anyone) an email that contains a link to upload assets into a specific folder in the DAMS.  The recipient does not need to login, they simply click the link and are presented with an uploader page.  I could set a limit on when that link expires. Is that possible with AEM Assets?  This would be specific to AEM in Cloud Services as we are moving from Managed Sevices into CS. Thank you! Jim P
