I'm looking for a function that would do the same thing as the livecycle xfa.host.exportData function. I no longer have access to Reader Extensions, so I purchased Acrobat Pro to extend to Reader. Upgrading to AEM was just too cost prohibitive for us.  ExportData and importData do not get extended to Reader with Acrobat. I found a function that takes the place of importData using the util.readFileIntoStream shown below (Compliments @radzmar  https://thelivecycle.blogspot.com/2014/07/import-xml-via-script-into-adobe-reader.html) and the import button works fine in Reader. I need to do the same thing to Export XML data from the form. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Maybe there is a util function for it? Hi @1905403 i had created an component with drop down the data source i get from servelet like : <datasource  jcr: primaryType:"nt: unstructured" Sling: resourceType="/myservlet/path" /> It's possible to get parameter value from this datasource to my java model? And what i am trying to do is dynamically populate value based on first drop down bring out the values on second dropdown like in first drop down choosing India the states of India bring out in second one?  What are ways to make it as possible please 

Hi Guys, I please need help in correctly implementing scroll depth using the Time and Scroll Event Extension. So far, I have:1. Set up a Rule for 25% to test to see if this works correctly, before replicating this for 50% and 75% scroll depths.2. In terms of actions, the below is what i have set up  3. set variables on the tracker fires the below:were evar8 is a new page name I set up with hit expiration, and I am using this together with the page name.4. send beacon is set up like this: {"linkType":"o","linkName":"Scroll Depth"}.  My challenge now is:1. The scroll depth only fires on the first page arrived by the visitor.2. On the first page, the scroll depth fires on the page load and also fires when I scroll down to the 25% scroll depth level.3. When I navigate to another page and scroll down, it does not fire the scroll depth event. I will like this to:1. On-page load only fires when the user actually scrolls down to the actual page dept

Hi, I'm trying to display a message " Search result not found" when the search item doesn't exist. how should I approach this? I was trying to modify the search core component javascript, because it is the resourceSuperType for the custom search component I have. Any idea on how to approach/fix this issue? Thsnks

Hi all,   I have a page and this page is by default accessible by all those users who were given permissions for /content/my-website node. Now I would want to restrict viewing this one page under /content/my-website/---/test/ to only a set of users present in the user group. I added this group to CUGs on that page.  Now does this page take up CUG first or it would still be viewable to all who has access to /content/my-website node? Is there any other way to achieve this?   Thanks!

I want to get those pages whose tag property is authored in dialog is same as the page properties of the pages.   For ex id we author a tag tag1, tag2 and the pages already having those tags in there page properties should appear

Where can I find a template with dynamic text fields and e-mail button (allow only reading and printing after sending)?   Are there no sample templates for Adobe Experience Manager Forms in this direction? ..or in general. Do I have to pay someone extra for this? ...if yes, where? Isn't there at least a simple step-by-step guide for a total beginner in this direction?   Loud thought: I never understood that Adobe does not provide a reasonable example to mutivate users at all in this direction.   Designated...Anyway, would be grateful if there is any possibility in this direction at all.   Thank you for your understanding

Hi All, I an novice in AEM and recently have gotten a use case to do gated AEM assets (images, pdf & etc) for external users that do not sits in AEM's user/group, I've studied the CUG authentication features from a few Internet sources, I notice the authentication is mainly performed against the OOTB AEM login module, and seldom elaborate on how it works if I were to provide a custom login page link. Hence, I have a few related queries here, hopefully any folks with similar experiences or experts can shed some light. From the gated asset folder, possible to put a custom login page link that calling an external login API? If #1 is possible, assume the external login API authenticated successfully and return an login token, how can I make use of this login token and communicate with AEM that this user has login successfully? and hence can allow the user to view/read the gated asset. From my knowledge, the permission on CUG seems to work with AEM's user/group only, it might not work

Hello! I have a dynamic form created with AEM Designer Forms and when it is filled in some fields display the following character in the right bottom corner of the text field: I noticed it usually appears if the text that is being filled in has an empty space at the end or if the text has been copied from a word file and pasted back here. Is there a way for this character to not be displayed anymore? Thanks!

 We have implemented Rocketloader functionality on our website and we want the Rocket Loader to ignore one of the clientlibs. https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/speed/rocket-loader/ignore-javascripts/ As mentioned in above URL, we are supposed to add data-cfasync=”false” for Rocket Loader to ignore the js, but we are not able to do so with sightly.   This is our inclusion tag <sly data-sly-use.clientlib="/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html"></sly> <sly data-sly-test="${X}" data-sly-call="${clientlib.js @ categories=X}"></sly>   We tried something like this, <sly data-sly-test="${X}" data-sly-call="${clientlib.js @ categories=X,data-cfasync=”false”}"></sly> It did not work and gave the following exception. I'm trying to show the number of unique values/rows in a dimension. Specifically, we collect the UserID of each visitor. I want to show the number of unique UserIDs within a segment.    I tried using the Summary Number visualization, but that sums the values of the occurrences. 

I'm using AEM for a project that has four types of environments: Tenant dev (on-prem): This environment is used by developers of each tenant to work on individual features or functionality for their respective tenants. Dev (AMS): This environment is used to integrate all tenants' features and functionality and is used for testing purposes. Stg (AMS): This environment is used to run acceptance tests and verify that everything is working as expected before moving on to the production environment. Production (AMS) I need to manage and deploy user group, permissions, and workflow data across these environments. I'm wondering what the best practices are for doing so. Specifically, I have questions about where I should create the user, group, and workflow data, and how I should migrate this data to later environments. Should I use Git or a package manager, or are there other ways to do it?  If using the package manager, is it necessary to export the XMLs and manage them with G

I have a couple of PDF assets that I need to replace but I can't seem to find them in design studio or elsewhere in Marketo. Is there anyway to search by their URL to find where they are being used and how I can go about replacing them?   Thank you!

Hi everyone,   I'm trying to set up a rather complex event campaign (or maybe I'm over-complicating it)   The event is held in 3 locations, A, B & C. A landing page with a Marketo form that lets them pick A, B or C. Their reply populates a marketo field which puts them in the corresponding Segment - at the same time, a confirmation email with dynamic content (based on their segmentation) is sent out - saying 'Thank you, we'll see you at location A (or B or C).   Here's where the problem starts, it appears Marketo doesn't get data from the Segmentations fast enough - the thank you reply email is always the previous selection every time I fill in the form. Eg, I fill in the form with location A, I get the default segmentation. Then I fill in with location B, I get the thank you email for location A. Then I fill in with location C, I get the thank you email for location B. My solution to this problem was adding a 2minute 'wait' step to my flow before the email send

Hello,as Adobe documentation says, AEM stage and prod Cloud environments are updated transparently on a regular basis, even once a day. Also AEM updates are performed independently from custom project code updates (please correct me if I'm wrong).If that's true - what would happen if some AEM update requires updates in project's code? How can we assure that our project is compatible with each AEM update, and prevent regression on PROD environment?For example, is there any extension/check point in AEM automatic updates process/pipeline that allows to perform custom functional tests on stage environment updated with NEWEST (updated)  AEM version, to make sure that everything works fine, BEFORE prod environment is updated with this newest AEM version?Regards.

Hi all, I have created two custom fields named, Custom Info Field_Str  Custom Info Field_Text The idea is to add these two fields into a Marketo form for specific events where we need to ask a specific question i.e. Dietary Requirement, Additional Comments, Travel Arrangements etc. Rather than creating a new field everytime or a new form everytime, I want to use these two fields in a form. But is there a way I can modify the field label at the form load, so that the using the same form and same fields, I can ask different questions at different event pages?

Hello! I am trying to search by user email address using the Workfront API. So far this is what I have:  https://<DOMAIN>.workfront.com/attask/api/v15.0/USER/search?emailAddr=<EMAIL> This works as long as the address matches exactly to what is in the system, case and all. Are there any modifiers to the API search that will allow for insensitive results?    Thank you!

I need to assign required privileges to a user group so that the users belonging to that particular group can impersonate other users. Also, I need to assign privilege and restrictions to a user group so that the users belonging to that particular group can assign users to groups.   What privileges and restrictions should I add under Tools -> Security -> Permissions -> {Role}?

Hi, I am trying to look at average time on a specific page and when I do- I noticed some pages get negative values. I am thinking it is potentially because it is a visit level, but wondering if anyone has seen something similar with OOTB metrics?   Metric: Average time on Page = (total seconds spent)/(Page views-exits)) Freeform setup: Page name & Average time on page   If I change the dimension to day, the negatives go away, but they return when page name or page URL is utilized. I have also broken out by metric within (exits, page views) and am seeing exits>page views in some instances. How would this be possible?   Thanks!

Hello,   I'm trying to look at overall visits to a page compared to entries on that page. I'm noticing for a specific page that Entries > Visits, which should not be occurring as only one entry exists per visit. I'm wondering if anyone has seen something similar, and knows why this might be happening or has suggestions/ideas to resolve this.    Thank you!  

Hey everyone, just a quick question: If I create a scheduler inside of one of my campaigns that is set for the 19/02/2023 to be sendout and the enddate of said campaign is set for the 18/02/2023, does this have an impact?   We had a scenario, where the sendout was sent a day early and we are unsure why and this was our first intuition.   Thanks in advance and kind regards Mathias
