Hi everyone,We test-deleted a group of VERY old leads from SFDC to see if they would stay in Marketo with SFDC is Deleted=True, and it appears they are also gone from Marketo. I inherited this instance, so I'm not quite sure if there are rules enforcing this in place somewhere on the back end, but does anyone know why this may have happened?

When I insert a token date field into an HTML email, the default format is yyyy-mm-dd.Does anyone know how to reformat the date as a long date? Example: Sunday, October 19, 2003I think I need to create a new Email Script Token in my Program, but I don't know how to write javascript.Based on what I read here:http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/velocity-script/script-examples/ I found some sample code (below).I want to reformat this field:  lead.WarrantyExpirationDateDesired format (long date): Sunday, October 19, 2003I think the long date field is: $date.full_dateI know that I need to navigate to: Marketo > My Program > My Tokens > New > Email Scriptand create a script for My Token {{WarrantyExpirationDate2}}.I found these examples:Example - Formatting a DateScript Examples » Marketo Developers ##create a date and parse it with a format##parseDate takes two args, a date string and the format#set($myDate = $convert.parseDate("08-07-2015", "MM-dd-yyyy"))##format the da

Recently there was a change to DTM that made it so values passed in 3rd party Non-Sequential HTML tags via the %data element name% method no longer work if the data element isn't explicitly defined in the data element rules.  This means you can no longer simply use setVar in a rule somewhere to define a value and read it in this way. This is having profound effects on how we typical handle marketing pixels.  Traditionally, we use either page load rules or direct call rules to define the "configuration" variables for marketing pixels, then make a call to that pixel (usually via a direct call rule). For example, let's say we have a single page application that has, for example, 50 different "pages" that can be seen by the user. A _satellite.track call is made for each of these "pages" that has an s.t() call to ensure analytics tracking.  These 50 pages may also have a multitude of marketing pixels, some of which can have 1-8 configuration variables.Previously, that main direct call rule th

Hello, I would like to know how to implement a "Tips&Tricks" page with Adobe AEM6.2 Communities.  Basically, I need a page where clients can enter Tips  and  Tricks about limiting their energy consumption at home and so save money. Obviously there is also the social aspect of replying to the tips with comments, express their liking putting a "like" to the tip or sharing the tip on social networks.  Customers who inserting comments and actively participates in the communities earn points. The customer who achieved a predetermined threshold of points, gets awarded with a Badge(distinctive), somewhat like tripadvisor. (the usual Scoring&Badging mechanism)As far as I know the Communities module provides several SCF like Forum, Blog, Calendar, Q&A , but not specifically the tips&tricks, i guess it is possible to start from of those and easily customize it.  I would like to know the easier way to implement a Tips&Tricks page by using the AEM Community module. Thanks in ad

Our sales people often will have many back and forth emails with prospects in order to schedule meetings, or answer questions.   If this occurs, will the back and forth emails count towards communication limits, or just the first email that initiated the conversation? Thanks!

Hi,I just need clarification on this, please.. Say a visitor clicks on a carousel item, do i need to capture the cookies first and call this cookie in my data elements before using it in either an event based or page load rule?I just want to track how many times an item has been clicked on and any visitors conversion. I thought putting this in an evar in an event based rule will do the trick or am I wrong?

HiWe have a side nav, that should display sub nav pages, as long as those pages are not hidden from navigation. However it is behaving strangely:If it has one sub item it does not display any submenu itemsIf there are more than one sub item it then displays the submenu correctlyTo illustrate:With one sub item:  With two sub items:  The code looks correct to me :<div class="navigation__wrapper" > <nav class="navigation"> <ul class="navigation__list--one"> <% // get starting point of navigation long absParent = currentStyle.get("absParent", 2L); String navstart = Text.getAbsoluteParent(currentPage.getPath(), (int) absParent); //if not deep enough take current node if (navstart.equals("")) navstart=currentPage.getPath(); Resource rootRes = slingRequest.getResourceResolver().getResource(navstart); Page rootPage = rootRes == null ? null : rootRes.adaptTo(Page.class); String xs = Doctype.isXHTML(request) ? "/" : ""; if (rootPage != null) { Iterator<Page> children =

Does anyone have any documentation on the accuracy of inferred fields? Is this a reliable data source to use?

I wanted to know what is involved in tracking logged in visits which timeout due to user inactivity..Do we fire a web beacon once application timeout has occurred & then use segmentation to find out login timeout visits? Thanks!Saurabh.

Hi, allI have placed my site widget on an external website (azadliq.info). But what's interesting  – every time, when someone enters the partner's website (azadliq.info), Adobe Analytics automatically tracks this as a visit to my website too, regardless clicking on the widget or not. What's wrong? Here is the widget code: <iframe src="http://azadliq.share.rferl.org/widget/60053.html" width="100%" height="220" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

My company worked with a creative firm to build a campaign for a Q3/Q4 initiative. They designed landing pages for us but after the design was approved, there was a bottleneck on who had the resources to code the design into being. The design is very important to the campaign owners, and I tinkered in some of the Marketo's stock templates to see if we could I could get a template to a match to the mock up, but it was definitely a sad, rough interpretation, as I am no dev whiz. (header = hero image, text on top, 3 button CTAs with free form option, 6 sections primarily text and images, with footer 1 additional larger centered button CTA,) .My takeaway is we need a custom LP; I am wondering the best way to go about seeking that in regards to developing their design with Marketo requirements in mind. I have used Marketo or Knack templates in the past, but never worked with an outside agency that created something this custom and then had to implement the design. Any advice or insight woul

Hi, has anyone else come across this issue when adding a Marketo form to a landing page...  The issue is - when viewing the approved landing page in browser, I see the following code/text at the top of the page "YPE html>" which pushes down the rest of my page design. The issue only happens when I include the rich text element (just above the button) within the form. Here is the link to view my landing page:http://pages.nlc.com.au/Test-for-new-marketo-forms_Test2.html Any help would be much appreciated.

How can I create a form question with the last option being "other" with an open ended field? I'd like any answer to map back to the same field, so adding a rich text field below "other" would not work. Example:

We have several nurture campaigns running and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to report on last email the lead received prior to converting. Currently I am looking through the activity log of each lead and recording on a spreadsheet. We are increasing the leads we are entering into these campaigns and it's becoming more difficult for me to keep up with this process. If anyone has ANY suggestions, I loved to hear them!JD

Hi all - just wondering how many of you are on the Summer release, given that tomorrow is the first day of fall.

I'm creating a triggered Smart Campaign and one of my filters is "Member of SFDC Campaign." I'm trying to filter out people with a specific member status within the campaign (in this case, anybody who is "undeliverable" or "unsubscribed"). Unfortunately there is not a constraint for "Campaign Member Status".The solution could be the "last status" constraint, but I can't find any documentation about what that means. Help on the definition is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have been asked to find which (of the very many) programs we have in Marketo have the "Send Alert" step in the Smart Campaigns within them....Without opening each campaign and scrolling through the flow to check if this step is included, is there a way to search for instances of this step in the whole of Marketo - or within a folder of programs? Is this possible....could save me a lot of work!!  Thank you.

Hello, can anyone help me to return a list of error messages that are stored in a data layer array please?I’m an analyst with a marketing background so please forgive any developer language faux pas…BackgroundWe’ve set up a data layer for business and form validation error messages. I'm able to capture and return a specific data layer array error message with the following DDL path:digitalJSONdata.validationErrors[0].message;I have managed to set up a data element that returns the array value like this (triggered by a data element changed EBR):if (digitalJSONdata && digitalJSONdata.validationErrors) { return digitalJSONdata.validationErrors[0].message; } return ;How to capture any error array messagesI'd like to grab any error message that is caused by the user not completing the form completely, not just the one message shown in my example above at .validationErrors[0].message and store them in Prop1. Can anyone help me to write the custom script that returns the text strings

I'm trying to add the Audience Manager tool to DTM, and integrate it with Analytics. On the tool config, there's an option to select "Integrate with adobe analytics", but a notice that says I need to provide custom page code to initialize the integrated tool. I can't seem to find any documentation on how to do this, what's the best approach here? If analytics were using an old s_code.js type implementation, then I think initializing the integration would look something like this:window.ustaDil = DIL.create({ ... //Sitecatalyst data collection var _scDilObj = s_gi('rsid'); DIL.modules.siteCatalyst.init(_scDilObj, window.ustaDil, { ...But in DTM I don't have direct access to either the s_gi function or the "s" object created from it. I tried passing the _satellite object as the first parameter to DIL.modules.siteCatalyst.init, but that didn't seem to do the trick either.

Hi All,I want to know how to check searches in omniture site catalyst tool and where we can get CTR in this tool. Let me know your expertise. Thanks,Ramakrishna

Hi All,If anyone has any documentation about the best coding practices of CQ.Please share. Thanks,Kishore

I am trying to find the resources using Resource Resolver. Below is the sample code which I am using. I am getting the Resolver from the the request.Iterator<Resource> resources = resourceResolver.findResources(query, Query.JCR_SQL2);The above code returns the additional resource called com.adobe.cq.social.datastore.jcr.impl.SocialResourceWrapper in additional to the expected one. Please suggest how to resolve this. This issue occurs when we try to migrate from AEM 6.0 to 6.1. Same code works fine in AEM 6.0
