My Form looks like     In the Click me button, I have the script like below, which does not change the value.   My Goal is to update the COB_CustomData to some value. Help needed for scripting this kind of function?   <button onclick="myFunction()">Click Me</button> <script> function myFunction() { //alert( 'TEST My Function'); form= MktoForms2.getForm(1573); //alert(form); var vals = form.getValues(); alert("Submitted values: " + JSON.stringify(vals)); let mktoFieldsObj = {}; mktoFieldsObj['COB_CustomData']="test"; alert(mktoFieldsObj); form.setValues(mktoFieldsObj); form.submit(); } </script>

We are looking at possibly bring on Adobe Analytics. I am trying to understand how difficult it is to implement. I've been experienced with setting up several sites with Google Analytics(UA and GA4) using Google Tag Manager. Is setting up Adobe Analytics that much more complicated? Can I leverage what is already in place with Google Tag Manager and the Google dataLayer so we can continue to use Google Analytics as our backup analytics package or is best to start from scratch(run both tag managers)? I'm asking because I've seen implementation costs from Adobe, and partners, that are simply prohibitive.

I'm building a promotion performance workspace for my customers and would love to include data that calculates the Price Elasticity of Demand (PED) during the promotion period. I'd most likely break it down by category and product, but that's secondary to just getting it to work overall. My preference is to perform the work in Analytics and not to export to Excel or Power BI.   I'd prefer to use the simple method: PED = (% change in quantity demanded) / (% change in price) Any advice from other eCommerce analysts out there on promotion tracking workspaces and specifically PED?

Hi, can somebody explain what is @14236791 wrt nms:group?

Hi All,   How we can show the time spend on application we have not captured it at developer end, do we have standard variable or report to show all this analytics.

I'm trying to retrieve the package binary zip file using PackageManager API and not having much success. To elaborate, I have a custom workflow step running on AEM author 6.5.16 on-prem, where the package exists. In that process, I would like to obtain the package binary content programmatically and using HttpClient API POST the package to another instance of AEM using standard AEM REST call. I tried various approaches I found online but none of them seem to work. Is there a recommended, proven approach that anyone can suggest? Thanks in advance.

Hello -- I am trying to enable the ability to perform a partial search from the Admin Search Rail and keep receiving a "null" message on screen.   Background: I have a custom namespace "cgb" registered. The custom metadata value I want to enable partial search on is called "cgbCustomerName" I have created a property within our oak index (damAssetLucene-8) titled "cgbCustomerName" and set the "analyzed" property to "true" per the on screen warning that appears when selecting Partial Search when customizing the Admin Search Rail. I have reindexed the oak index that contains this property and have run the Non-Production Pipeline to deploy in our Dev Environment.   Any help on this would be appreciated.   AEMaaCS Release (Development Environment): 2023.3.11382.20230315T073850Z

Hi all,   I am working on premise AEM (6.5.10). In here I have three websites . I want to create users in the website for authoring, testing and approver role.   So basically I want to create a content approval worflow for all three websites with different users with roles of author, tester and approver.    Here I want that user on role of author for one website cannot access/edit  the page of another website.   I am clear for how to create the workflow but I want to know how to provide user permission regarding the above mentioned scenario.   Thanks in advance,

Or is it something we have to remember to do for all new teams?

I am using AEM 6.5.0 and trying to generate a project using archetype 22, but getting below error, mvn archetype:generate -B ^-DarchetypeGroupId=com.adobe.granite.archetypes ^-DarchetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype ^-DarchetypeVersion=22 ^-DgroupId=com.nioya.aem.test ^-Dversion=0.0.1-SNAPSHOT ^-DappsFolderName=nioya ^-DartifactId=aem-guides-nioya ^-Dpackage=com.nioya.aem.test ^-DartifactName="Nioya Test Sites Project" ^-DcomponentGroupName=NIOYA ^-DconfFolderName=nioya ^-DcontentFolderName=nioya ^-DcssId=nioya ^-DisSingleCountryWebsite=n ^-Dlanguage_country=en_us ^-DoptionAemVersion=6.5.0 ^-DoptionDispatcherConfig=none ^-DoptionIncludeErrorHandler=n ^-DoptionIncludeExamples=y ^-DoptionIncludeFrontendModule=y ^-DpackageGroup=nioya ^-DsiteName="Nioya Site" I also tried with latest archetype 41 and 23 and few other lower version but I get below error when I used 39 version, mvn -B org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:3.2.1:generate ^-D archetypeGroupId=c

I uploaded product sku classification for 85k rows and 7 columns. It has been 5 business days that ftp upload has not processed those SKUs and classify them. Do you know how much time it takes for classification upload through ftp?

For example, if there is an asset description field in the form for asset upload, would there be a way to combine and show all entered asset descriptions easily?

Hi,   Is it possible to use the "purposeful duplicate" concept to create duplicate leads in SFDC, but avoid duplicate persons in Marketo? We need to allow for lead duplication in the CRM to accommodate lead re-qualification. But having duplicates in Marketo is not an option.   Does it make sense to have a bi-directional sync between the SFDC Contacts object and the Marketo Person object, and a uni-direction sync between the Marketo Person object and SFDC Leads object (Marketo to SFDC)?   What other approaches are there?   Cheers,

I am using fileupload , pathfield resource types ( see below) wherever I need an image authoring. Question: Does aem serve best suited image for different devices or does it load same image for all devices  (mobile vs desktop) If it does use same image for all devices, how could I serve only specific rendition based on device size (mobile vs desktop)   <file jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:resourceType="cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileupload" allowUpload="{Boolean}false" autoStart="{Boolean}false" class="cq-droptarget" fieldLabel="Image Asset" fileNameParameter="./fileName"

I'm trying to define the allowed components on the core tab component and can't find an answer on how to do it cleanly. I know we can specify which container components are available to add here -But that policy applies to both which components you can add as containers and which components you can add to those containers. I want to restrict it so that only the container can be added at the tab component level -and when adding components to that container you'd get a different list. That's not what happens today, it inherits the same policy as the tab component - How can the template author configure the allowed components for the "tab panel" container component? Is there a way to set default policies for a component, either globally or template specific? Thanks

Hello team,   We have a use case in place where we download json files from S3 and read them to create content fragments. We are using version 1.11.141 currently. With this version, all the dependencies are resolved and things are working fine.   This version is very old and contains a lot of security vulnerabilities. Hence our need to use the latest version. Dependency issues arise when we bump this to the latest version (1.12.348) or any version from the past couple of years.   Root pom.xml   <dependency> <groupId>com.amazonaws</groupId> <artifactId>aws-java-sdk-osgi</artifactId> <version>1.11.141</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency>     all/pom.xml   <embedded> <groupId>com.amazonaws</groupId> <artifactId>aws-java-sdk-osgi</artifactId> <target>/apps/vendor-packages/application/install</target> </embedded> <dependency>

I'm following a video that talks about ContextHub and at a certain point I need to edit any page to create custom content. However, in my local AEM, in Targeting Mode, the target icon does not appear in my component. Does anyone knows what am I missing?   video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khi7P1Kqq9s&list=PLSMIav_xXmUNsMf-FH5Dl3W_0Qbbn9tNr&index=3   this icon is not appearing to me.

Hi Team, I need to restrict the no. of component count in a parsys foundation/components/parsys, I am working in aem 6.5, service pack 6.5.11 and I tried these old threads https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/restrict-number-of-component-in-parsys/m-p/270786/thread-id/46586https://github.com/Adobe-Consulting-Services/acs-aem-commons/pull/639 , could not resolve the issue yet. Any suggestions will help! @arunpatidar @vivekanand-mish

I'm running Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.10.0 and getting the following errors in the console when I try to edit a Forms Theme.  It shows the loading graphic, downloads the jcr_content and throws the following errors.   I'm also seeing the following errors when trying to edit a form. The loading animation runs but the form editor never loads.   Then if I try to load a form in a page, I get "org.apache.sling.api.SlingException: Cannot get DefaultSlingScript". We were having issues on a previous service pack (6.5.7 and possibly 6.5.4) with the Forms Theme Editor just downloading the jcr_content, which isn't much of an issue in the long run and I worked around it, but now the forms won't load at all.  Is there anything I can do to fix this short of rolling back the SP?

Hi all, I want to add a expand/collapse section in a template. can we add  in crxde  if we can add what are the steps to follow as i cannot find that template aem templates but i can find it in crxde.

Hi Team, I want to know how to find the size of a schema (table) in Adobe Campaign Classic v7 via Console. Please let us know if there is any possibility to find out the size directly in the Campaign Console instead of checking it in the Control Panel. Thanks,Raviteja Gundu

I'm building a service in AEM that uses a system user to perform certain tasks. Currently, when I develop the service locally, I create the system user (following this LINK) and config everything manually. However, I want to automate this process during deployment using a CI/CD pipeline. What is the right way to create the system user, add the necessary permissions, and set up the service user mapping during the deployment process? Are there any best practices or potential pitfalls to keep in mind? Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I have created a new destination using the SFMC API and I am trying to export segment data to this destination. However, I have noticed that there is no dataflow in place. I have ingested a few profiles that are realized in segments, but I see no progress in sending data to the destination. When monitoring the process, I also see no dataflows. It seems like nothing is happening. Can you provide any pointers on what might be causing this issue?Thank you in advance!

Hi there, I'm trying to get Launch updated on a section of our website. We're just updating the old library to a new one, so it's just tweaking the embed code. The dev team have reported back that they're getting a bunch of 503 errors when they're deploying on localhost which is worrying them. I think this is somewhat expected because the tags (e.g. Twitter, Snapchat, Google Ads, etc.) need access to a web server in order to retrieve the necessary files. I've switched out the old library for the new one using the Experience Cloud debugger in a non-production envrionment and there aren't any issues. I'm wondering if this is expected, or if there's something I need to do in Launch to prevent this. Note, I don't want to add an exception to every rule to prevent it running locally, because that seems like overkill. Many thanks!

I want to export schema/dataset/connectors into azure storage account on daily basis whatever updating incrementally moving forward.
