Solved

Hi, I have few queries on maintenance and deployment practices. Any detailed document will really help.   Do we have any standard practices to maintain AEP instance and sandboxes? What are the activities that are carried out as part of maintenance and how frequent?  Do we have any dashboard to monitor the health of AEP instance and sandboxes? How we move changes from development sandbox to production sandbox? In case of DS workspace, how we maintain the code version for jupyterLab notebook? Is it possible to use any SCM tool like GIT or any IDE plugin to integrate with IDE's? Thanks.

Was pleased to learn Adobe had a DAM and then I discovered it's not easy to sign up and/or access. Is this solution really only for enterprise accounts? Surprised that Adobe hasn't better democratized the options in Experience Cloud.

Hi, I have enabled the permissions for collections(content/dam/collections) even after that the create button isnt visible     As I checked on other environments there I can see the create button, but in uat environment I am not able to see that create button.Kindly help me to fix this

Hello everyone. I tried to took the AD0-E116 last week, and failed it unfortunately.i was trying to book another one, but i dont see this exam anymore in the list.Do you know if it has been replaced or what?Thank you

Path - /content/dam User has write accessSpecific path - /content/dam/<org>/folder1/folder2/ User is restricted from write accessWorkflow execution option is visible in root Path, however it isn't available in restricted path. We want to provide workflow access to all irrespective of their folder access. How this can be achieved?

I am trying to implement a sort feature just like AEM Assets as show below in Pathfield Dialog. .    Whenever an author selects a path by opening the pathfield dialog, the author should be shown with a sort By option as shown above so that the author can sort the items on the current path which he is currently on. If he is traversing a path /content/we-retail/us/en and then chooses to sort by selecting any field then the only immediate child pages should be sorted by the selected option. This is view only and not expected to sort nodes in repository. Any pointers/references would be helpful. Thank you.

Say I have multiple pages under /content/practice/articles. Now in /content/practice/articles/firstpage/jcr:content there is a property named myImage. I want to read and fetch that value from myImage property which is a path basically.   Now I want to navigate to /content/practice/articles/firstpage/jcr:content/root/container/detailed_page and replace the properties (mainImage & smallImage) value with the data fetched from myImage property.   Can someone help me with the servlet code that I need to write in order to fetch the same?   Note : There are 500 pages under /content/practice/articles and I would have to do the above for all of them.   @nitin_laad had helped me out previously with the following code snippet, but since I'm still a newbie I'm unable to make the code run-worthy. Can someone please help me out with the full code snippet (say enclose the following with appropriate try catch block and othe

I have an idea submission queue which is designed to capture intended audience data and high level scoping information in order to review and approve a project for production.    Once approved, I would like to have the requester complete a second, supplementary form, after the project is approved and moving forward, to capture specific details such as content direction, personas etc that will guide the producers. Ideally I would like it to appear like a request form rather than have them go into the issue, project or task details to 'find' the form, but I would like it to be attached to the issue or resolving project that was previously submitted.   Alternatively, is there a way to connect a new issue request to a previous issue submitted through the same queue?  Thank you!

Hi all,   I have a question regarding the field value update in MKTO.  Our Marketing team uploads a list every month. If a user comes in via first list import, their "X" field gets updated with value "A".   Next time the same user comes in via list import, their "X" field has a value "B". MKTO automatically does only the "Update", so the "X" field will have a value "B". We can create a temp field to store that value and make "append" functionality to  "X" field to say "A,B".   3rd time, user comes in via list import and "X" field has value "A" again. If we use append, "X" field is gonna say "A,B,A", which is not a best practice.   PS : Marketing doesn't have the track of the data that they upload. They don't know if the same user was part of all imports with different "X" field value. They want to add the field values to the "X" field not overwrite or update.   How can we avoid the field value "A,B,A" and say only "A,B"?   #listupload #marketo

When going to the Tools > Data Warehouse page or the Admin > Exclude By IP page, we no longer see the report suite dropdown in the top right of the page. This prevents us from knowing what report suite we are using and changing to others. Is this a known issue currently?

Hi, I want to fetch the child pages of a page when my component is being dropped on the page, so as of now I was using the below piece of code (using the currentPage object) and getting the child pages but here it was dynamic means suppose I drop it on the "en" page then getting the child pages of "en" page and if dropping on "welcome" page then getting it's child pages. (refer the below snap for page hierarchy). Code used (in the HTML file):   <div class="menuitems"> <ul class="cmp-navigation__group" data-sly-list="${currentPage.listChildren}"> <li class="cmp-navigation__item cmp-navigation__item--level-0"> <a href="#" class="cmp-naviagtion__item-link">${item.title}</a> </li> </ul> </div>    New scenario - Till this point it is working fine but now I want to show/fetch the child pages specific to "welcome" page when the component is dropped on any page let it be - "en", "welcome" and so

I have certain people assigned to clients that need access to all projects for that client. I set them up on a form that is attached to each client (Company). When a project is opened for that client (Company) it pulls their name from the Company a calc field on the project. I'm trying to add them as Resource Managers on each of those projects. If I do an API call to get the Resource Manager info it looks like                              I have a scenario where I can pull the names and IDs of the users I want added from the Company Form but I don't know how to add them as Resource Managers to the project.                                                                                       I hav

Hello   I have a Portfolio which has a number of projects in it.  On the Project level, I have a custom field called Rank. This field is present in every project in this portfolio. There are occasions whereby multiple projects could potentially share the same value in the Rank field. Now I want to use a Fusion scenario to iterate all these projects and be able to identify any projects that share the same Rank value (i.e. duplicate values).   Is there a way to achieve this? Any ideas would be appreciated!   Thanks in advance.

Hi All,We have observed that our AEM Forms JEE instance is creating a copy of crx-quickstart folder inside WAS directories and growing in size with every patching/deployment.exact directory location : /WAS/was90/profiles/<profile-name>/crx-quickstart/repository This directory only contains datastore. We have tried running Revision cleanup and GC from JMX console but the size of this datastore does not reduce. Also, there is no increase in terms of forms deployed. Can we reduce the size of this directory ? What will be the implications of completely cleaning up?If cleanup not possible what is the recommended way of configuring the directory of datastore from /WAS to somewhere enough disk space is available? Please note, I have verifed the org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.FileDataStore configuration in web-console, this is set to crx-quickstart/repository/datastore but, datastore in not being created inside the usual crx-quickstart rather under /WAS dire

Hi all,  I'm trying to utilize v-bind:href or :href in  component html but the Linkrewriter does not work on it. It shows content/ and .html as as it is. How can I correct it.

I am trying to add a recommendation on to a Page using a Rawbox, I noticed that the User Based Algorithm types on this one Page aren't rendering (Recently Viewed ect). while the Item-based and popular- based Algorithms are populating on the same page with rawboxes. FYI I am sending the entity.id in the call as well for all the recommendations.

We have arequirement to add custom flags to pages created using a particular editable template ,using static template we could do this by adding the property under template/ jc:content  .Please let me how to achieve the same using editable templates.

Does anyone know what best practices are if you have a campaign that has a list with records already in Marketo and remaining records not in Marketo. If I import the net new it may during the Salesforce/Marketo sync create duplicates in Salesforce.   What I usually do is one I get the full list of records to use in a campaign I create a smart list under that program and using email address filters I enter the email addresses by batches of 2,000 per filter. I use the 'use ANY filters' and then go on people tab and see which records are in Marketo. I then export that list, dedupe it in excel and then paste the original list on that excel spreadsheet and use conditional formatting to locate the duplicates highlighted in red. I then remove the duplicates and find the net new that way.   Is there a faster process?   I then take the net new and enter them in the campaign through the salesforce campaign tab so that if they exist in Salesforce they will then just sync to Marketo

Hi, wanted to know if monitoring progress is analogous to performing a delivery analysis from the audit tab in the delivery dashboard before sending out the email?

Hi Team,   I am using AEM as Cloud service and I had some old tags then I created new tags with some different structure but the tags names are same as old tags, then I deleted the old tags.  When I am adding these new tags to DAM assets and searching tags in tags browse field, I can still see the old tags in the searched list. How can I remove that old tags from the searched list? In the below screenshot, the second searched item is old tags and I don't want it to be searched as it doesn't exist.       Thanks.

Hello Everyone!   Is it possible to disable the data-layer at component level? I am aware of the configuration which disable the data-layer for entire project but we don't want that. We want to disable data-layer for only specific components. Especially core component as they all comes with data-layer functionality added to them. Our Analytics team is complaining saying that they are seeing lots of data getting pushed to data-layer that are not necessary, like text, title component etc.   Thank you!

Hi @Urs_Boller  I am trying to upload the custom criteria but I get this error : Sync failed.Could you please advise how it could be resolved?   I would like to recommend a set of entities so thought of using this custom criteria approach    I used the custom csv and uploaded it in ftp root directory (/) and below is the format : true-1 OFF-66068 OFF-70145 OFF-66058 OFF-69167 the key value (true-1) is present in the user.profileattribute and it is used as recommendation key. But I'm seeing the sync failed issue when I save the criteria. What could be the cause if you can advise ? Any help on this would be really helpful.
