Hi Everyone,   I'm trying to create an email alert based on opportunity fields within SF. I've spoken with support and read through some docs in here and it looks like it can be done via Email Script tokens. We've tried to get this set up, and it's still not working.    For context, we have a partner marketplace and have customers requesting information on these partners as potential integrations/add ons to their current plans. Customers are able to request info on as many partners as they would like and each time a request comes through, it's logged in SF and an opportunity is created. We'd like to send an email to the requesting company about 10 days after the opp is created so we can follow up and see how their experience with our partner is going. We're currently using email script token based on a custom  SF field "Third Party Referral Name" which we were hoping would pull the partner name into the body of the email for that specific opportunity.&nbs

Do flow step choice numbers start at 0 in the activity log?   For example, if in the actual Flow Step "remove from SFDC campaign is" is choice 4, but in the activity log it shows up at choice 3.    A bit confusing if true, but wanted to confirm

Hi! Has anyone synced their SFDC activities to MKTO? Specifically I am building prospect lifecycle campaigns in MKTO - one of the criteria is knowing when there has been a touchpoint from sales - ie a dial or email sent (which we can see in SFDC). Is there a way to sync this and if so how have you set it up?  I know I can go to the sfdc sync option under Admin:  But it looks like everything listed above is actually MKTO activity you can sync to SFDC. Appreciate any help or insights! 

Hi all, We are seeing some massive discrepancies between SFDC and Marketo. We see it mainly (maybe only) at the account level. It seems that the first time the information comes in from SFDC to Marketo, the account data is updated but any further updates do not sync into Marketo (so for example, we don't see once an account becomes a paying customer since this update did not come to Marketo.)   We tried to manually update some fields on SF for some contacts, leads, and accounts - Only leads and contacts information was also updated in Marketo. The account information was not.   We're not sure what causes it - Is it something in the Salesforce objects sync section? Maybe we're not syncing the right objects? Any one-time solution isn't sufficient since we're looking to fix that problem once and for all. No fields are blocked from updates.   What do you think?   Thanks!

Business requirement is to create Custom Activities table and add the additional activity details captured on third party tool using REST API. I have created custom object activities table but did not find Marketo Endpoint reference details  to add the activities data in the table. I found below link but it 's not containing any parameter in URL path. Hence, I was wondering how can it will insert into the custom activity table without API reference given for the particular custom activity table   https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/endpoint-reference/lead-database-endpoint-reference/#/ 

Hi Team,   I was wondering if you could tell me something about the modules. I've learned how to create and implement them on my templates and they are working just fine. First I didn't know how to hide the modules but now I'm using the tag mktoAddByDefault="false" .I've decided to add more modules to my template and hide most of them. When I did that, I realized some of the images are not loading on the modules preview but they work just fine when I drag and drop into the template. Example below. There is nothing different on my HTML apart from more components and the tag to hide them. I have sent some tests and it displays well. Should I be worried or this is just a Marketo 'issue'?Thanks!  

We send out a welcome email that is triggered to send based on the join date of a new member. The smart campaign runs daily and sends the welcome email to any new members that have joined the previous day.   I want to set up another campaign that resends the email to anyone who hasn't opened the email 2 weeks after it was sent. I can't figure out how to configure the timeframe on the filters of "was sent email" and "not clicked email" to ensure that no one gets the resend unless they received the first email at least 2 weeks ago and haven't clicked on it.    No one that has been sent the email within the previous 2 weeks should receive the resend. 

I am interested in seeing if anyone has been able to track PPC leads in Marketo? I currently run multiple PPC ads through Google Ads and would like to capture leads under the person source of "PPC" if they have interacted with our site through our ads. Currently, Marketo captures these leads as a web source but I would like my instance too accurately represent how my leads are entering our site. This is to create a more accurate ROI count when calculating our PPC ad exposure. Currently, this ad data is being stored in Google Analytics but does not provide lead source information. I would love to learn more about how to capture this PPC information in our Marketo instance.    Many information is welcomed!

We are currently trying to solve for how we can have a Marketo form work to redirect a known visitor who has submitted a previous form on an OD event page, to the same follow up page, but with the content unlocked (as it's a week long online event).   The idea is that once someone has already registered for the event, they do not have to keep re-registering to access the previously locked content on that hosted follow up page. Working with my web team, we were hoping to have something like this happen based on what we've been able to make work so far:   User views the registration or ty page, and if it's a known visitor they'll actually be shown a secondary version (we'll call this the unlock form) of the main registration form (we'll call this the reg form) just asking for their email address, with a secondary "I still need to register" link option on the bottom. That link actually takes them to the normal reg form / reg page. (we've solved for this part with the email form

Will need to track the users who visit our Application login page through email link clicks from a campaign. I did some research before posting this and found there needs to be the Munchkin code added to that login page in order for us to be able to do the tracking. Can anyone let me the whole process involved here please- after adding the Munchkin code how do I check for the list of contacts that have reached that web page through link clicks from the email campaign. Just in case if we don't have Munchkin code added to that page do we have any other work-arounds. Please advise, thanks.

Hello,    We would like to use web personalization for known people. Specifically we want to show a banner to users that are trying to exit the page and haven't filled out the form. I understant that for doing this we would need to create a segmentation either using:    - Static list : Creating a list of those people or  - In behavioural, using the exclude page and put the URL of the thank you page    Do you think that the match would take long in any of those segments?    Thank you!

I want to include some personalized content in my email that says Member since: XXXX where XXXX=year (contained in a data field).  And I want to populate the year if the field value is 2007 or later.  For anything earlier than 2007, I want to hide Member since: XXXX altogether.     I'm using a Velocity script token in the email, but I don't know much about writing scripts and I don't know what to do on the second line below to hide the content.  I just guessed null() but it's not working.  Any ideas? #if ($lead.MemberSince < 2007) null() #else Member since: $lead.MemberSince #end  

Hi, I have been working on an assignment where I need to export all the trigger campaigns programmatically using Marketo API, as I have read the marketo docs and API docs throughly I did not seem to find an API call for the same. Hi Friends,I am working to fix an issue I'm experiencing on this form http://forms1.ieee.org/2018-testing_Email-Update-LP-Updated-2.html​.Reason for form: when a lead comes in with a personal email address, they are entered in a nurture campaign that sends them an email prompting them to update their email address to their work email address. Note: we do have pre-fill enabled so that the Previous Email Address field is enabled, however, this doesn't work when browser cookies are disabled.Issue:When a lead who has their browser cookies disabled comes in and fills out this form, they need to know the current email address on their Marketo record. We are noticing often times that people are entering email addresses that do not exist in our Marketo database and so Marketo is creating a new lead record for the email address and then we have their new email address but lose visibility into what form/activity history originally existed with this person. If a MKTO program is synced to a SFDC campaign - can you make changes to the statuses seen in SFDC & have that sync over to MKTO? For instance - for live event the values are:  -Not in program -registered  -waitlisted -attended -no show In SFDC I want to create a responded value called "booth visit" - if that is not already set up in MKTO as a choice (which I'm not sure how to add in on the MKTO side) will it sync over? or show as an error? 

Hello, So i have an Engagement Nurture Program that was active from January 2020 until last week. We had to paused it to update all email copies to be inline with our New Company's brand guideline. Today, I reactivated the program. I'm supposed to receive the 4th Email (the emails are sent on a a monthly basis) but to my surprise, I received the 1st one. I run a smart list to check those who were delivered email 4 and got 0 records.  Is that how the engagement actually works? I'm under the impression the if you stop/paused the program and reactivated it, it should still detect the last email you received and send you the next email based on the content's order. Did i miss to do something prior to reactivating?  Appreciate all your inputs. Thank you in advance.

I need to pause anyone who has opened 0-1 Emails out of 10 Emails received in an Engagement Nurture Stream. Can someone recommend the best way to set this up? Thank you.

Hi all,   I have a question about program memberships: Group A - We use a drip campaign (welcome program) which then sends people into a nurture stream. Once exhausting the content in the nurture stream we then send email blasts for updates. Group B - We send them directly into a nurture stream, once they exhaust content we send them email blasts updates. I want to filter out the people currently in the drip campaign flow in the Welcome Program for Group A, and people in the Nurture stream for Group B.   Question: How best to filter out people from Group A in the welcome program? If I use 'Member of Program=False' 'Program=Welcome Drip' will it exclude people currently in the drip campaign? Or, once a person has been sent the emails in the Welcome Program, does their membership remain, in which case will that exclude the many people who have moved through and beyond the Welcome Program?   Thanks all.

Hi all,    So I have a question for anyone here. I'm currently stamping Interesting Moments:    Now, when a lead becomes an MQL I'd like to transfer that Interesting Moment over to a custom SFDC field called MQL Most Recent Detail.   However, when I run myself through as a test I'm not seeing the {{trigger.Name}} instead I'm seeing the "type". So I'm wondering what it is I'm doing wrong because as you can see with my test I'm seeing the trigger type not the name.    Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi all,   I have streams I want to delete. I have run a batch smart campaign to move people into an alternate stream. I ran a smart list to identify anyone in the stream, the smart list said 0 people. The dashboard view of the streams show 1 person in the stream.   WHO is this random lead in the stream that slipped through the smart campaign to remove ALL people in that stream, that a smart list can't see?   Support is working on it but have gone silent after a couple of days.

Hello there, I have a blog post  in that previously i'm using marketo subscription form on submit i'm displaying a thank you message and it's working perfectly. Now I want to use the same form in footer as well so, I have placed same code in footer file with different success message. Other than blog pages the footer  subscription form is working as expected along with thank you message (which is separate for blog post thank you message). Now the problem is when I enter data in footer form and click submit, the thank you message is displaying in header form and wise versa. And also in the header part the submit button is showing 2 times. Here is the screenshot link https://www.screencast.com/t/qjAOj611go.  Can any one help me to solve this.

We are looking to use Marketo forms with two sets of users and need to be able to send new leads to one thank you landing page and existing leads to another landing page. The only way to check this in a form would be using the email address field. I do not know much about progressive profiling but is this possible? I am hoping to have a user visit a landing page, fill out a form with their email address, have the system be smart enough to see if they are in the database and if they are send them to a page and if they are not send them to a different one. Is this possible using forms?
