Hey Folks, I am trying to consume some third party API's in the workflow to get the data. and those API works on the OAuth Mechanism and to use these API's, I need to create the JWT inside the workflow. Can you please suggest, how I can generate the JWT programmatically and utilize it further into the workflow for the API Call authentication? Regards,Nitesh.

Hi I have added rep:glob restriction on "/content/we-retail/us"  as shown in below fig. When I am login Aem using TestUser credentials I should not able to access /content/we-retail/us as it is in restriction but TestUser able to access. Why this is so? Please let me know how restriction are working and why it behaving as above in this case.

I have an email performance report that says over 6,000 people were sent an email. However, when I look a the Results tab of the Smart Campaign, only about 750 people were sent the email. So I'm confused why the Email Performance Report and Smart Campaign numbers are so far from each other.   Any ideas?

We recently migrated to Service pack 12 AEM 6.5 version. When i search for any user and click on view all users I'm unable to redirect to the page containing all the users list. if anyone faced similar issue kindly let me know.

Hello!   A potentially newbie question here - is there a way to send an email proof of the Text-Only version? The system seems to only allow proofs for the HTML version. I understand you can toggle images on/off for the HTML version in your email client, but many email clients will serve up the Text-Only version when you are sending in multipart, so would like to make sure the Text version is QA-ed as well.   Thanks in advance! Hi all, recently we noticed that error.log is full of exceptions like:GET /mnt/overlay/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/rails/references/items/references.provider.html HTTP/1.1]com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.WCMDeveloperModeFilter Error during include of SlingRequestPathInfo:path='path-to-EF',\  selectorString='provider', extension='html', suffix='null'  org.apache.sling.api.request.TooManyCallsException: /libs/wcm/core/components/coral/references/borrowedcontent/borrowedcontent.jsp   Judging by recent threads here this could come from Apache Sling Main Servlet's setting of maximun number of calls. Seems like 'Borrowed Content' exceeds the limit. So I wonder what would be recommended tip for this? Is this going to be fixed next Service Pack? Thanks in advance

We have an instance of AEM that, seemingly randomly, stopped displaying new png's loaded into the system. Old png's appear fine, but when uploading new png's, only the default document icon appears. These images will not appear on the published site either. We've tried different versions of these files and saving in various png formats, but no change. Jpg's display fine... in fact, we can manually change each png file extension to jpg and it will display. This happened once before about a year ago and it seemed to fix itself without any real intervention. Any thoughts on this?

Dear All,  do you know why the Work List filter on the Home page does not remember which filters I select when unticking I.e. completed etc.  When I do it until I am logged in that day it remembers, then the next day it keeps forgetting it.  Any advice ? or is this a known issue ?     BR, Dave

I have a custom component say "componentA" ->I am writing my business logic in my sling model of the component and using the fields via annotation @ValueMapValue  ->and using the properties in HTL via e.g : ${model.propertyOne} -> But when I put two component on the same page , my HTL behaves very differently , only the latest added changes are reflecting on both my HTL and on website -> My guess is it's happening because the model file is same and it's only picking the latest changes and passing it to the HTML  -> How can I prevent this behavior and what steps should be taken care to use two components on the same page   Thank you

Hi Folk ,   adding thrid party jar into aem through embed dependency in maven bundle plugin.   The problem is suppose i need opencsv then i went and updated<embed-dependecny> openscv  <embed dependency >> inside <maven-bundle-plugin> and build the bundle and uploaded the bundle in system/console  first issue : I found my bundle is still not active . It is in installed stage and I can see some red unresolved dependency which is suppose beanutils or some other depency which is introduced after i definded opencsv ..       Now I agin went and changed the pom.xml and added <embed-dependecny> openscv , beansutil <embed dependency > now again build and deployed the bundle now everthing worked and done .    Now this was simple case .   But similar case for solrj i tried or you can consider any other 3rd party dependency which I want to bundled it with my project bundle I will do the same . I have been trying to add a PDF widget to a custom form and foloowed the instructions to use the Preview link of the Document in the url of the field. Yet, the url expires and when I try to view the PDF in the form in a live environment, it is showing an error message. Has anyone had any luck adding a PDF widget in their forms?

->I have a component where earlier there were three fields stored under the name : ./name , ./address , ./phonenum ->  I have changed the component dialog box and made those fields multifield ->but I want my previously authored data to be stored as the first entry of the multifield -> for e.g : Now I have three items in my multifield  and I want the previously authored data to be populated in my first item in             multifield -> this component is used in multiple pages I don't want to reauthor everything  , that's why I want the first multifield to be populated with the previously authored data (before enhancement).   Thank you  

Hi,   I am following the WKND tutorial and learning how to build custom components. I have created a component definition and sync'd it to AEM, but the component is not recognized by the system.  What could be the cause of this?   At this step, the component is not available in my local instance.   This I have tried/observed: - I have confirmed that the .content.xml calls out the proper Component Group, and that my .xml files and folders match the tutorial.  I have gone through the tutorial 3 times with the same result. - I can see the component specification in CRXDE Lite, so AEM Sync worked and pushed the component to my local instance - Tools > General > Components - the component is not listed here - Checking the policy on the page template's container, I do not see the component listed           On a side note- is there an easier or preferred way to add components?  The JCR syntax seems like a steep learning curve and

Dear community,   I'm trying to set dynamic meta tag on my page for open graph (OG) that can be seen when sharing via social media (AEM 6.5).   I can now set a default one in structure/page/customheaderlibs. However, some pages contain specific images, and I want to replace the default OG content with the image link in my page/component. Is it possible to do so?   Since social media crawler doesn't interpret JS, I suppose this should be set at component level.   Thank you in advance!

Long time (2007) Marketo jockey here in a new account. Can anyone verify if the Marketo Integration put out by Webflow for their website platform works? I'm trying to programatically remove a proof seed from a delivery. I can remove the FCPseed from the delivery XML but since the FCPSeeds are not in a node of itself but directly as array under delivery node the write function doesn't remove anything. It only updates or adds. I am using the guidefileupload component to attach files to the Adaptive forms, I see that the files are being uploaded into the /tmp/fd/af/ directory on the server by default. I believe something like this should be configurable. Is there a way to change the path to a custom one? I couldn't find any documentation on this. Any guidance on this is appreciated
