My author is having 4502 port and publisher is having 4503 port. I configured dispatcher with the publisher on apache tomcat server.when I am starting author it is showing that it is started on 4502 port and publisher also starting on same port.Here i am getting conflict "Can not determine process id of java.exe! More than one new entry present" like this. i am using aem on windows. Can you help me with this.

Hi, We are facing some intermittent issues with one of our AEM applications that we have recently launched. We used AEM to build the frontend that has Components rendering the API data through AEM servlets, and we do have multiple users that are being managed through Cookies and third party user authentication. Couple of critical issues that we currently see are as follows:When a user tries to login to the system, they see a different user account information (servlet is responsible to invoke an API with a user unique ID). Though the ID matches with the user ID, we see the information is being set with other user detailsWe frequently see 'Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.' though we have increase the size for apache variables (LimitRequestFieldSize, LimitRequestLine) via dispatcher vhost filesWe presume the issue is due to AEM servlets as they are singleton. Has anyone run into similar issues before? Could you please suggest how to handle these is

Hi, I am currently using reverse replication for add and modifying a node. But I am not able to reverse replicate for delete node. Right now it only deletes on one publisher from where the delete request is submitted. replicator.replicate(session, ReplicationActionType.DELETE, path) I have couple of questions here Should it be ReplicationActionType.DELETE or ReplicationActionType.DEACTIVATE ?Secondly, what should be the path? should it be path of node to be deleted ? Right now there are two launchers for create and modify events.Do I need launcher for Delete event ? Any help on this would be much appreciated. ThanksHarpreet  

Hi I have managed an Invoice template by:  Table1._Row1.addInstance script.  And also I have managed a drop down menu to change local currency (time to time we need to issued invoices in different currences).The change local command only applies to 1st row, but not the rows added by instance manager.  I have tried to manage directly adding the script inside dropdown click to row numeric field by calculate however I receive invalid value error message while calculating.

I'm sure this was answered previously, but I cannot get passed all the techno babble. I am new to AEM, but 10+ years with Wordpress. If I wanted to replace an image in WP, I simply replaced the image in the image library. I assumed AEM would be similar, but am finding that is not nearly the case. I have a header image on hundreds of pages that needs to be changed. I tried simply replacing the graphic, but no dice. I did see a post saying I have to unpublish and republish the page...maybe? But that did not work and is not something I want to get into. Can someone spell out the deal exactly without getting into the freakin weeds? Thanks in advance.

Hi All,We have a business requirement to expose content from enterprise AEM dam to a 3rd party system. Currently they have 1 AEM Asset instance with close to 20K assets and 70 authors. Current deployment only has 1 Author Server ( No Publish or dispatcher setup). Can we directly expose secured content from enterprise DAM author server? Is this considered best practice? How scalable is it?  Thanks 

Hi Team,Need your help on whether below usecase can be achived How to create a segment in AEP to find the users who visted the product but not purchased it. Say user visits two product pages(P1 and P2) and bought one product(P1) only. How to create the segment for this use case in AEP where user has purchased a product P1 but not P2. Hi, I am trying to make api calls in AEP and realized the token expires every 24 hours. I need to manually generate the token by going in to console.adobe.io Is there a way to programmaticaly refresh and generate the token with out doing it manually each day?

Is there a way to include a string value such as "ABCD" when selecting attributes when activating a segment to a destination?  I have a need to create a one-time use of data related to a segment.  I would rather not have to alter the data model and use query service to update all the records in scope with the value "ABCD".  Not sure if this can be done while defining the segment or activating the segment.  Either way would solve the issue.

In Schema there is a defined field for color with enum datatype and values of red, green, and blue. If my data file has a color of Purple on on of the rows what will happen to the data load?

I have used below conditions to segment the visitor and it is not working as expected in few scenarios.
