As per my understanding, we need to have the trait key name and value in place in AAM even though if we use regex to consider “ALL” (i.e.: .*) . Highlighted below. Assume that, we have sent only 3 different dealcode trait key value to AAM but wanted to exclude those 3 key value but need to include rest of the new upcoming key value. Scenario:We would like to consider all users falls under dealcode by using regex .* and at the same time exclude the users with the specific value(“yaa|abc|tst”) 

Hello experts! I am trying to capture a simple value from my data layer into an eVar. It is part of any array and does not produce any results only "Unspecified"  the path is data.page.category.categories[1]  as you see i need the value from the 1 of the array but it does not fetch any results. Other data layer objects are fine. What is the trick to fetching this array value?  I have tried variations such as data.page.category.categories.1page.category.categories[1]etc... to no avail.  Any suggestions? It seems it ought to be fairly straightforward and not require custom code, right?   

My understanding is that when a visitor goes to our site (with Adobe Data Collection/Analytics), the Adobe software looks for an Adobe cookie. If there is one found it means that cookie was created previously and an ECID already exists for that visitor (or technically the browser/device). If there isn't one found, a new cookie is created. Each ECID is a unique identifier for a unique browser/device.How is it possible that in Workspace I see ECIDs that have more than one Unique Visitor count? In essence, isn't the Unique Visitor a count of unique ECIDs? Or am I misunderstanding this? Not all ECIDs in Workspace have more than one Unique Visitor. The majority have a 1:1 ECID vs Unique Visitors but there are some that have more than 1 Unique Visitor count for 1 ECID. eVar11 is the ECID in the screenshot.   

Hello Everyone, We are capturing event data from our website using AEP Web SDK [via launch]. The data captured in data elements is mapped to Adobe Analytics fields  like eVars via XDM object. I can see all the eVars populated correctly in AEP debugger under events. However I randomly see many eVar values missing under profile of a user [email address as identity] in RTCDP. Does anyone has any idea about probable cause for this issue or a way to fix it. On a different note, how can I have this unified data for customer profile visible in CJA. Currently I can see the data fragmented but not related and so can not frame a full journey of customer in CJA. For example I can see dimension 1 and dimension 2 for a particular email id separately but cannot map dimension 1 & 2 together with the email id. Thanks

We have various permission groups in our AEMaaCS Assets and would like to allow our editors to create new image profiles but not give them full admin access. That said applying admin access so far appears to be the only way to give a user this level of permission. Can someone confirm this or provide alternatives to try.

Hello Everyone,I just wanted to throw a question on REST API implementation here. We have a third-party REST API that returns data needed for our website's couple of pages. I am not sure which REST Client to use or how to implement one in terms of AEM development. So, I am just seeking some guidance here. Additionally, we have authentication credentials for different environments to access the API. Where should I store those credentials so that it stays secured and won't get compromised.Continuing the above, we want to build a component that displays those data. We want to have an authoring dialog where the author can select a location from the pre-populated list, and that component will bring data for that particular location only (once authored). With this, how the overall setup should look like?Also, how would I build (if possible) a caching mechanism so that it doesn't make API calls for the same set of parameters repeatedly?Any suggestion here will be appreciated. We have a JBoss environment running AEM 6.5.In our implementation, we are trying to send an email, but we are encountering the linkageerror with the com.sun.mail classes.We did find this suggested fix (https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/kb/day-cq-mail-service-not-working-forms-jee.html), but for some reason this doesn't work for us. Is this fix still valid for an AEM 6.5 environment, or should we do something else?

Hi All,We have recently installed AEM 6.5 JEE on WebSphere and deployed few HTML5 forms on the server. However when we are trying to render the forms we are facing layout issues, The same form works fine on the older version(6.3) of AEM JEE forms. Can Please someone let me know if there are any additional configuration we need to make or update in crx/de or profiles to resolve this issue or if this is something related to the forms and not the application. The issue is mostly happening with the dynamic forms with multiple add and remove features. Thanks

Hi All, I am working on a project where we are creating dynamic Adaptive forms. The adaptive form has multiple questions and based on the options you selected on the first screen the rest of the questions are derived. We have a requirement to put Static text (disclosures, information etc) on the questions based on the selection from the first page. For example, it could be a information text such as - "You credit card allows you to withdraw $10000 a month" . Here the $10000 must be populated from value selected from first page. In Lifecycle designer we use something like Floating Fields. Do we have something similar in Adaptive forms? Thanks

Hello Folks,Hope you're doing wellI have a strange and weird situation where I am doing a simple select operation using queryDef on a schema from JSSP. When I hit the JSSP in browser I am expecting the record details as response, however I am getting an empty collection even though data is present in DB. I tried other operations like count, getIfExists and get. When I tried get I got below error.Same queryDef with any given operation works absolutely fine when executed from a JavaScript activity within workflow. Hi community,   We want to send different versions of an email regarding the time and day of the week a field changed its value.   We have a value (DateTime) that captures and triggers the smart campaign to send the emails. However, the email will change regarding if it was on business or non-business hours, and if was on a weekday or a weekend.    We can’t create time-only fields and we can’t (by knowledge) pull the time from the DateTime field. Are there workarounds for this hard-to-believe Marketo technical limitation?   Thanks and regards, Raul

I need to get the General Overhead hour fields from the Time Sheets to display in an Hours report (see the Time sheet fields in the attached image). I have reviewed several older discussions pertaining to this type of reporting where they suggest using a filter of Hour Type >> Overhead Type, Equal to General, but this is producing no results. Hello, I have a requirement to add two additional tag fields in page properties below original tags field.(i am using cq/gui/components/coral/common/form/tagfield). As you can see from the picture there are two additional fields, Luka tags and Marko tags. They are both mandatory and both have their defined namespaces(Luka namespace and Marko namespace). The problems i am encountering are as follows:1. When i save tag that was manually entered  or selected from a tag from a specific namespace, it saves the tag under "default" namespace but i want it to save the tag under  "Luka namespace" if the tag was entered in "Luka tags" field. If the tag is entered in "Marko tags" then i want it saved under "Marko namespace". Is there a way to do this using properties in CRXDE? If not, how would i achieve this?2. The other problem i'm having is that if you look at the picture, every field that is related to tags has the same tags list. I want every tag field to have its own tag

Good day,When trying to access the theme editor in AEM 6.5 (Forms > Themes > Site folder > theme) and when clicking on edit the editor does not open but instead downloads a jcr_content file.Has anyone had this problem before or a resolve for this issue please?Thank you in advance.

Odd question for the community. Is it possible to see who archived a folder?  I can't find it in the audit trail. Cheers Jo
