Hi all,We get a lot of requests from our customers to deliver assets with different, customer specific filename conventions (e.g. PRODUCTID_SHOTCODE.jpg), which isn't the name we give the files in AEM Assets. This applies to images, files etc. I've gone through the Image Serving API for dynamic media (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/dynamic-media-developer-resources/image-serving-api/image-serving-api/http-protocol-reference/command-reference/c-command-reference.html?lang=en) but can't find anything in there that suggests how to do this. Essentially, I want to be able to do something like: https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/3m/Cat?crop=100,100,300,300&downloadFilename=croppedcat.jpg This would allow us to build other integrations with our product catalogue and data syndication tools to mass download assets with the right names by default, prior to sending to customers, rather than having to download everything and then run a rename script. Does anyone know

In a project I am working on there are multiple servlets, services with an activate function with @580286 annotation where the function has no body, said activate function is taking a configuration as parameter. The configuration has a single field. I am attaching code snippet for one such case below for reference. What is the reason behind these empty activate functions, as they are not passing any value from configuration. furthermore what impact might removing such activate function can cause.

Suppose we have one dialog of component with 3 fields(first name, last name, phone number).i dragged this component in two pages. i want to hide phone number field from 2nd page only.how we can do it? basically what i want to ask is can we control dialog on template level?

Hello Team,I am trying to understand how traffic split happens when we have manual targeting with 50% traffic to A & B experience. If we make 10 request to pages, will that always divide  5 request to experience A and 5 request to experience B. Or any algorithm to decide the traffic to experiences A & B even we have given 50/50 %?. Because we are not seeing AB Testing report with traffic spit 50%. 

I would like to add an alert, or some sort of notification to my campaign workflow that confirms once an email delivery has started, or perhaps when an email delivery has been completed.Is there any easy way to do this in ACC?

ACL on overlay node is not working in AEM as cloud service instance. I have given deny ACL for a group on create button in AEM assets console.Overlay path: /apps/dam/gui/content/assets/jcr:content/actions/secondary/createHowever, if I apply same deny ACL for the same group on under /libs path (that is, /libs/dam/gui/content/assets/jcr:content/actions/secondary/create), create button is getting hidden for the group. Issue is same as in https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/overlay-navigation-for-acl/td-p/319249 Can anyone help? Any help would be appreciated!

We are using AEM 6.5.0 and I'm wanting to know how to create a button to attach a file and if there are any issues with it.  In other postings I have read where this function does not work without Reader Extension.  

I have a case where I need to read URL's and dynamically redirect to the right product listing page. i.e. When hitting a product detail page, if the current product is out of stock, I want to handle logic and redirect to a product listing page that displays products within the same category. What is the best approach to this which is also SEO friendly? Would there be a way to dynamically redirect within the dispatcher or is this something a custom Java Servlet should handle? Thanks

I am currently transitioning to using AEM Cloud from AEM 6.2. In 6.2 its super easy to see the row and column lines so you know exactly where your components are sitting. In AEM Cloud, I can only see the grid lines if I'm trying to resize a component (layout component or otherwise) which means I can't at a glance see where one component ends and another begins. Is there a way to set it up so that the blue grid lines are always on?

HOW CAN I ADD A TITLE COMPONENT TO A SPECIFIC PATH USING A GROOVY SCRIPT

We currently have a data pipeline that pushes activities into Marketo as they happen and our current triggered campaigns that use "does activity" as a trigger work as expected (triggering as soon as the activity shows up in Marketo). However, we will be switching to a new data tool that will push activities into Marketo once a day and I'm wondering how that will interact with our "does activity" triggers. The activities will still come in with a timestamp, so when looking in the activity log, it'll still look like the activities are happening throughout the day despite the fact that they are actually being pushed to Marketo only once per day. Will using "does activity" as a trigger in a campaign still function if the activity in question shows up in Marketo as happening the day before?

Hello, I have an automation that I created for Hubspot that I need to recreate in Marketo. I'm looking for insight into whether there are API endpoints to do these same things, or maybe a different workflow. Maybe point me at what endpoints to look at.   I have read through the API documentation, and it looks like this should be possible. But the documentation doesn't have enough details for me to be sure.   I have a data file with new activities. I use that data file to create a new email, listing all the activities in a "template" that was created for this automation. With Hubspot process currently is: check if images for activities are in the file library, get their URL if they are, or upload if not upload template (updated with file URLs from above) clone the latest version of the email using this template this creates a draft email with the new template just uploaded it copies any email lists assigned to the old email replace the subject and preview in the email with n

I am building a product nurture stream and will have multiple entry points to the engagement program (ex: Webinar/White Page/ Brochure/etc.).   Each one example is also part of the others stream; So if you fill out the form to get the brochure your next cast will be the Webinar and vice versa.    The number of emails and cadence is different based on how you enter the Engagement program   Is it better to create a different engagement program for each lead generation asset or create multiple streams within the same Engagement program.

Trying to figure out why when I try to use a dollar sign to show a donation amount on an email, that it adds a space between it and the token I'm using {{lead.Donation Amount}}. Deleting the space breaks the token. I tried some of the things suggested in other posts, but it wasn't working. Disclaimer! My knowledge of HTML is basic at best. So any help you can provide without using developer speak would help! 😂

I have configured an XDM object in launch to fire on a button click (login). I can see it working in the network request. However when I query my web event dataset in AEP, these events are not present. My other XDM object for pageviews works just fine.
