I am trying to run a batch script to delete a large list of unwanted image folders from dam.Can someone hep me with a sample curl command to delete a AEM folder using curl command? I tried using the belowcurl -u admin:admin -X DELETE http://localhost:4502/assets.html/content/dam/test-path/product-assets/test But it gives, file not found, though it is available in DAM.

Can someone provide the explanation for this question ? thanks.  Why my answer C is not correct.  

Hi all,I build a project using maven archetype 26 and when I tried to run mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackageIt throws me error at npm install (UI frontend).I thought npm should be upgraded but guess what I didn't even installed node.I tried in another laptop following same steps, surprisingly I was able to install there (Didn't installed node here too)So, If there is any particular solution that can solve this issue without installing node please let me know.

Hello,I'm looking to deliver a Target activity to users but only once per day. It is a pop up modal that users can exit out, I have it set that they will only see the experience one time ever on first page visit. I'm wondering if anyone has a profile script that can be used to say "deliver activity once per day"? 

I have one drop down having valuesdefault, Red, Green if author select default then one text field and one checkbox should appear below the drop downif author chose red/ green one new dropdown with (Dark, Light, Seap) should appear. How can it be achieved? I am confused

Hello Guys, We want to send the adobe_mc parameter with IDs from Mobile App to Salesforce Web Page  (for certain pages which are not native to the app, and we are using visitor.appendVisitorIDsTo(destinationURL); . Problem is that the SF page has URL parameter limit of 25 Chars. Since Adobe_mc parameter is long and is vital to add in URL as we want to track the same user coming from Moblie App to Webpage, we are looking for a solution to pass adobe_mc param in compressed form or any other way to track the users from Mobile app to Web. Any suggestion would be appreciated.Thanks a lot.

We're using AEM 6.3 and wish to protect specific paths via SAML2 on our published site that's served via Apache and dispatcher - while leaving the remaining site open to public access.Our author currently uses SAML2 and it works well. What's the best way to get this working on publish for specific dispatcher-served paths? Is it possible/supported?I've seen articles mentioning the "Apache Sling Authentication Service" (+- Authentication Requirements) configuration in configMgr as well as a specific dispatcher rule:/0100 { /method "POST" /url "*/saml_login" }but so far I've not found a good (or official) reference for getting this working on the published site via Apache and dispatcher.I'd prefer not to rely on AEM users/groups for controlling access to the protected content (most users accessing content will never use AEM to edit content so I would prefer not fill up the user store unless absolutely necessary) - how else though could permissions be managed? Let's say I have "my-project" group. I need to assign permissions for this group in such a way that annotate or delete buttons in AEM assets toolbar should be visible on /content/dam/my-project/folder-a. However, annotate or delete buttons should not be visible on /content/dam/my-project/folder-bCan anyone help me on how can I assign permissions for user group which varies on asset content path. Any help is really appreciated!

In Client side to implement target, we commonly used to create launch and add launch script on the page right? And there is another way to implement target (i.e., from the server-side- Tool functionality). In sightly if i am getting empty string value then i am not getting that attribute in html page. I am using AEM 6.4 e.g  <sly data-sly-test.iconVal=" "><a data-icon="${iconVal}" />here i am not getting data-icon attribute in html page because iconVal value is empty string.

How this count works? does visitor things is same as adobe analytics here?so once counted will it count again or wait for that visitor to expire? or it counts on visit based?

We had the Marketo activities (Email Sent, Email Opened, etc.) syncing to Salesforce to display there. However, if we had sent an email to multiple people at one Account, it was showing that same activity multiple times in the Activity History of the Salesforce Account. We would like it to display on the Salesforce CONTACT, but NOT the Salesforce Account. Suggestions?

We have two boolean SFDC Custom Fields that are not selectable as fields on a particular form. However, those fields are selectable options in a newly created form.   The form in question is a clone of an existing form, and uses progressive profiling (however, these fields will be placed outside of the progressive profiling).   What is blocking these fields from being selectable on this particular form? I found discussions on fields not being selectable in forms, but I couldn't find any where just one form was impacted.

Hey Everyone!  We currently have a Daily Batch file that has around 70 plus fields. We want to add another feild to the file and and update our import workflow to accept the new feild.  The problem we are running into is that we have to update the file structure to add the new column, and doing that causes the column definition it reset. I have to go into every column and fix them. It's really time consuming and a risk of something being missed and either error out or mess the feild up completely.  Do we have a way to add a column to an existing file load activity without having to rest the column definition.  

We are trying to add AEPAssurance framework manually to our iOS project which is mix of objective-c and swift. For that first we cloned the repo: https://github.com/adobe/aepsdk-assurance-iosand then we ran the "Make archive" command to extract the .xcframework file and then we are trying to add that XCFramework file in our project but we are facing this error Symbol not found. we tried adding it in empty swift project also but still the error is same.  We are trying to "publish/activate" an Adaptive Form.  The user is getting a permission denied.   Can somebody tell me what roles are required to create, edit, and publish Adaptive forms?  I can't seem to find the correct documentation and many roles might be old.   Thank you.

Hi!  I've created a Target Activity using experience cloud segments (specifically from Analytics) and I would like to know how can I limit the number of times a visitor sees the activity. This is the segment I've created. Here's the logic: If a visitor sees that page within their visit, them I'll show a specific message to them whenever they return to my home home. But I would like to show the specific message just a certain number of times (for example 5) then, the message should be off for them or they will have to be no longer in the activity. Which is the best way to do it? Taking into consideration that I'm creating segments in Analytics.   Thanks a lot for your help 🙂

I have a use case where i need to restrict the custom group for deleting the page. And also custom group should be able author the pages like adding components and removing the those. I'm using repo init script for this restriction. the issue is when i try to restrict group for deletion its also disabling the modification.
