Is there any OOTB way to export DAM assets from AEM to Target?

Hi all, I am writing a custom sling rewriter which implements Transformer Class. Usually, we will use it to parse the html and rewrite the needed tag elements. In my case, I have to get some dynamic values by accessing JCR and need to rewrite them as URLs. I am not able to Refer OSGi service or ResourceResolverFactory inside transformer class. It gives me either 500 error or null pointer exception. When I checked on samples in the web, they did a static rewrite. Could anyone help me to confirm whether shall I use OSGi services inside Custom Sling rewriter class. Regards,Hema

HI, We are planning to upgrade our AEM from 6.5.2 to 6.5.5 through service pack: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/release-notes/service-pack/sp-release-notes.html.While following the instruction, I installed the 6.5.5 package and then updated pom.xml to update uber jar to 6.5.5. Hi, We are facing following two unusual environment issues in our AMS managed stage environments:With deployment either of author or publisher instances becomes unresponsive and service restart is the only option to bring them back-upDeployment takes longer time 30-40 minutesAfter Analyzing logs we found that AEM restarts many of its services and sometimes these restart of services is multiple times. This is one of the reason for long deployment duration we are facing. Our deployment package size is 13MB. We can host AEM site on IIS Server with dispatcher, However, I want to know it will be locally hosted or it will be globally accessed by user on browser??And, what are the steps to test if our website successfully hosted on IIS or not?? 2. Hello All We want to create custom metadata forms for custom mimetypes. But as per current implementation, that has to be present inside "default" folder and which forces to add default tab via inheritance. Is there a way to create these forms without inheritance OR to create them outside of default folder for custom MIME type. Note that "Apply folder" will not work as we want the form based on MIME type of the asset and not based on the parent folder due to content organization of the business.

Dear all, We added a watermarking step in the default DAM Update WF, as per https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/assets/administer/watermarking.html. Expected:When I select the position of the watermark, it reflects on the watermark rendering after the asset is processed.I can also choose the font for the watermark. Actual:Watermark is always placed on top left, error.log output confirms that TOP_LEFT is the position always passed in the processing.I cannot choose a font for the watermark.  Reason for watermark position issue:Markup of dialog is wrong, see below:   Current workaround:Manually change TOP_LEFT to e.g. BOTTOM_RIGHT in the WF model metadata node,  via CRXDE.  Any ideas around this? Didn't see any SP fixes around this so far.

In a workflow that contains existing query and filters, how do I use SOAP to update said filters? I've tried different things but I can't update a filter. Hello, We have a blueprint EN/Accounts /en/credit-cards/products/advance and live copy /sg/en_sg/credit-cards/products/advance The advance page content is going to be synced with its live copy page to create a new look and feel (just for testing and sign off).  However author is not ready to put that live yet and still needs to make regular updates on the previous version of the page.  whats the best way to handle?  Is versioning on the /sg/en_sg/credit-cards/products/advance page the best way to handle? or do we need to make a live copy /sg/en_sg/credit-cards/products/advance1 just for sign off then rename to /sg/en_sg/credit-cards/products/advance once ready to go live? thanks

Hi, currently we are using the Adobe ID for our users. We would like to know what happens if we delete the user when he leaves the company. Is there any opportunity for the user to have access to our data after deletion? Is there any way for the user to store our data in third countries? We only have to make sure, that everything is GDPR compliant and the user has no option to use the data afterwards. In the future we want to use the Enterprise ID but this is not possible at the moment. So hopefully you can tell me in the meantime which rights the user has and what he can do with our data.  Thanks, Sophie 

Hello,I've been exploring ways to view First Touch/Last Touch marketing channel data, and how the selected date range impacts these reports.  I've explored this three different ways so far with reference to one of our custom events, e131: 1) Visitor-level segmentation, 2) Visitor-level Fallout and 3) First Touch/Last touch reporting matrix.  Below, you'll see that the counts between report #2 and report #3 for the month of March 2020 are nearly identical at 536 and 541 counts, respectively.  Regarding the report #1 reporting a higher 675 count...I believe this is possibly attributed to the Visitor-level segment, by its nature, having a more broad definition.  So far so good... However, when I modify the date range to Last 90 days, the variance widens significantly for these three reports, particularly for #2 (1715 counts) and #3 (1480 counts).  Is there an explanation on why simply changing the date range creates such a large variance?

I am trying to set up a flow that will allow us to continuously add members to a list, but only have the new members receive the email I am sending. What I am trying to figure how to say is if John Doe received "X" email do send it to him again. I figured out how to set up a flow that would REMOVE the lead from the list after the email has been sent to them, but ideally the flow would just not send the email to anyone who has received it already.Thanks for the help in advance!John

So I have an AEM website with the entire folder structure including the core package with java files. The way I'm currently exporting it to be able to run on any other machine is that I download the "samplewebsite.all.SNAPSHOT " through CRXDE and upload the same on the other machine through CRXDE. For the core package, I do a maven build and then upload the "samplewebsite.core.SNAPSHOT" jar through system/console/bundles. I'm curious to know if this process can be reduced down to just one package upload which contains the core package files as well? @briankasingli

Hi All,Have defined EVENT_FILTER in my code so that my replication event gets trigger only in that respective path mentioned as event filter. In the Average Daily metrics I've seen (e.g., Average Daily Visits, Average Daily Revenue), there is a technique that utilizes the Approximate Count Distinct function to calculate the number of days over a time dimension of your choosing.  It works pretty well...except, every once in a while, it comes back missing a day. Below is an example using this function broken down by week.  Across all reporting suites we support, the week of July 12, 2020 shows about 6 days instead of 7.  Same thing happened last year during the week of Sept 22, 2019.  Due to this, these weeks showed large spikes in Average Daily Visits, Revenue, etc., but it's really just due to an incorrect # of days in the denominator. I recognize the function is "approximate", but the value is very consistent across other weeks of the year; I gather the "approximate" part of the metric deals more with larger volumes of data.  Any idea what's happening here?
