Hello,   We have configured the OOTB SAML Auth Handler successfully to use the Forgerock IDP and the authentication and communication between AEM 6.5 and the IDP is working fine. However, the groups are being returned as a DN instead of just the group name. Is this supported by the handler or do we need to create a custom handler to extract just the group name? The user is being placed in the default group so my assumption is that the DN is not supported. The IDP is authenticating the user against an AD, if that matters.Anyone experience this before and how was it handled? Thank you

We are a set of Fullstack developers who are using Java Springboot and MySQL to develop backends with JWT authentication and use VueJS / ReactJS to develop single page frontend. We have also used Laravel views to develop our frontend applications to work with external APIs.  Recently we have been provided with a project that enforces to use AEM for the development of a customer portal that allows customers to register with mobile number and OTP, view and manage their profile, send service requests to administrators and there has to be a separate admin portal which allows the administrators to log in and see customer requests and other administration work. The system utilizes a lot of third party API from different services and we want to manage everything using a single backend. Following is the architecture we are planning to develop  My questions are,1. Is this a correct approach when developing with AEM as we are not utilizing many CMS features of it? 2

Hi ELC,In Adobe Campaign Classic, email addresses to be loaded into the email field is governed by dataPolicy.js and an Option that has specific allowed characters. Is the same or similar process in place for ACS as well? If it is, where can I find documentation on that process? Thank you all very much in advance,Jim

Hi everyone, I wanted to create a POST servlet using Resource Type and pass form data. I will be calling this servlet from Component X which is an embedded component. I created a POST servlet using Page component's resourceType. It works fine when form data is not passed. But when form data is passed, it is throwing some exceptions like in the screenshot below. The data i am trying to pass is "img" as in screenshot. I also tried to create POST servlet using Component Y's resourceType and i was able to pass form data here. Since I am using an embedded component, Servlet using Page resource type will be apt for this. Any help would be great.  

HiI need to export my entire website and for that i am using export method of page exporter API export(page, resourceResolver, target location). My pages are getting exported inside /var/contentsync folder in crxde itself. i need it in my local machine.I deleted /var/contentsync folder and then also, i am unable to download the zip in my  local. please help. Thanks,Ankita  

Hi All, I am able to export page into a zip file with required clientlibs and assets.Clientlibs are reflecting on the page perfectly, but assets are not, they are not referring the correct path , where they are downloaded in the zip file, instead they are pointing to the path, when an asset is placed on a page.For example: Image should refer path "\content\dam\demo\image.png"but , its referring path is"/content/demo/en/_jcr_content/par/image.img.jpg/1588834659990.jpg" Please help. ThanksAnkita  

We have configured MTA  in adobe campaign server by adding ip, port of mta in server config files.But now the email delivery is failing from mta server. Error message :421 4.4.2 service timed out. Could you please suggest on this.

I need suggestions on building a codebase that serves atleast 50 plus different brand websites owned by a single brand website. Each website has its own styles and themes, but we would like to use a centralized codebase similar to AEM Core components that can serve to all businesses. Now the question is how do we maintain all the site specific clientlibraries, configuration, editable templates etc for each different brand website. Any suggestions are welcome. 

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help... Our user journeys contain a lot of duplicated pages regardless of whether a customer is new or existing. Their initial starting page is usually different, but then they would be sent through the same conversion funnel as another journey (we have around 5 or 6 starting pages depending on traffic source but only two different conversion pages) This poses an issue when wanting to split these journeys from an analysis POV in Analytics and Clickstream. I think the solution would be to populate an eVar with their first page value, but I was wondering if there is a way to appending something into a URL based on a customer visiting a specific page? Example: If they landing on Existing customer start page, put "#qsp=existing" into their URL. Maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way but ideally no two journeys would contain a page from another journey. Any help appreciated.

Within our Adobe Analytics, we're afforded a number of Analysis Workspace templates, some which are beneficial to us, and some that are not. From a "less beneficial" standpoint, it is VERY confusing to users that we have access to reporting templates for product features that we do not have available. For example, because we utilize Ad Cloud, we were told that the "Paid Search Engines" template will not work for our company, and the template itself will not load. However, there is no way for us to remove that report template within our company admin settings, thus creating confusion with users about under-utilized features. Would it be possible for a future Adobe product release to allow for admin customization of the available Analysis Workspace report templates? And, even better, could admins customize those Adobe "out of the box" templates themselves to better align with our instance?

Hi,I'm an ex LiveCycle designer user (from 2013) and I wanted to re-use this program to create some PDF forms that have expandable text fields.In my research, I found that LiveCycle designer is no longer supported and has become another program - AEM forms. I have tried to find out how to download and use AEM forms, but I am hitting a brick wall.Can I get some help on AEM forms / how to obtain a license and start using it, please?I live in Australia and would like to use the forms to help my daughter's primary school if that helps.

Hi all,  We have a website in NZ, where the opt-in laws are strict. We have radio buttons for 'Yes, I want to stay informed' and No, 'Please do not email me.' e.g.  https://www.worldanimalprotection.org.nz/end-global-wildlife-trade-forever    One particular lead filled the form, checked 'Yes, I want to stay informed,' but when sent to MKTO via API, durable unsubcribe kicked in and automatically unsubbed them.    I am being told by MKTO support, and some threads in communit here, that it is possible to change the unsub data value and overwrite the durable unsubscribe. I am also reading that it cannot be overwritten. So, which is it? If it were possible to link an opt-in field in a form to the unsub data point in MKTO, with the value of N (not unsubscribed), why won't it overwrite.    I have also tried running programs to change durable unsub, but they did not succeed. Hi, need some help, we have a requirement of fetching the user inbox notifications for a workflows running on author to the publish environment ?This can be achieved through a servlet that runs on author, but we are facing an issue authenticating.For basic auth we need to provide the encoded user name and password in the request but not sure how secure is that plus we won't have the password at the time of requesting.Please if anyone has implemented a fetch of any kind of data from author to publish, can you please help ?

I have done the purge activity and trying to re-index.As a part of re-indexing i have deleted the folder index under /crx-quickstart/repository.After the start of the instance i see the re-index doesnt happen and when i trigger from crxde by setting the reindex to true then reindex happened .Ideally re-index should happen when the index folder is deleted and restarted the instance and what should be wrong in this scenario?

Hi all, This is related to Health Check monitoring. 1) Wanted to check which all AEM Health check tags we can trigger per minute or per hour without adding load on AEM. We are interested to know CPU Load , Memory Usage , Disk Usage frequently , Indexing Job - so that we can be alerted if there is any Spike. But wondering if we configure these alerts per minute or per hour will this add any load to AEM itself. Hello all,I'm facing an issue while creating a new channel in the delivery type. - I've created a new channel in the enumeration in the delivery data schema. - I've mapped to recipient in the target mapping- While executing the delivery, it's showing the following error. Error: "The output message for recipient 'xxxxx' is empty." Document delivery has been canceled for this recipient. (iRc=-53)My assumption is the output generated through this delivery is not a valid one. There should be a linking issue from the delivery to the router.Any help will be much appreciated.Thanks,Somasundaram

In Marketo, our team has created {{my.token}} and used in velocity script. But, when we have run the campaign and checked the reporting results and analysed that parameter result not captured in GA. Hi all,We noticed in our AEM 6.2 and AEM 6.3 instances that when we click on a content node in crx/de that the section "Effective Access Control Policies" on the bottom right pane is always empty.Compared to AEM 5.6 we could see the "Effective Access Control Policies" containing the node's access control list and the inherited ones.I could not find anything back in the documentation that mentions something about this. I'm also not sure if this is only a visualisation issue or that the node effectively doesn't inherit the ACL's from its parent node.Thanks for all the help.Johnny
