I have found when you select Unpublished as the Publish status on the asset picker page side panel it searches for assets that have been deactivated. I would have thought the search should also include assets that have never been published. Do you think this is a bug or an intentional feature?  Query Statement: /jcr:root/content/dam//element(*, dam:Asset)[not((_x002e_./@hidden = 'true')) and (jcr:contains(jcr:content/metadata/@dc:format, '"image" OR "application/x-ImageSet" OR "application/x-SpinSet" OR "application/x-MixedMediaSet" OR "application/x-CarouselSet"')) and (jcr:contains(., 'sample') and jcr:content/@cq:lastReplicationAction = 'Deactivate')] order by jcr:content/@jcr:lastModified descending 

We have a serious duplicate issue in our marketo & salesforce instance, and here are a few things I think are causing the issue but I need help figuring it out: when a contact or lead record is deleted in SFDC, we keep it in Marketo (as a safeguard) - but if we happen to cross this record again via a list upload or something - marketo will sync over multiple records to SFDC - thus creating duplicates & the dupe picking up it's old lead source & lead source detail value. Does it make sense to keep deleted records in Marketo? It seems like it causes issues more than help with anything when we upload lead lists in SFDC vs uploading them into Marketo. We do this because we have a plugin in SFDC called "duplicate check" where you can run jobs checking for dupes in the system. At my previous company, we used HubSpot and ALWAYS uploaded lists into HubSpot and then pushed to SFDC. What's the best practice for Marketo?  does Marketo not check for the associated record in SFDC

Hi Team ,  I have my content structure as below . Let's say when i try to do language copy for Test Page to specific locale zh , i dont see Chinese option rather i could see something different language Aragonese. While debbuging I just noticed if i change to an folder 'aen' or something , then i could see the corresponding Chinese language displayed in language copy console . Please advise if I could not have my root folder as 'an'  /content/an/abc/language/en/index/content/an/abc/language/zh

Marketo support lead merge but it is either manually or contact Marketo Technical Support. Also, third party tool support to merge data. Marketo already dedupe the leads for, list import, API, fills out form but CRM it do not support.  I was wondering if there are other possible ways while creating smart campaign to resolve this too. Please comment if any other method is open to achieve merge process  Also, in API data insertion process duplicate lead are being generated how can this be resolved in Marketo. 

Does anyone have any tips or tricks on taking and passing the Adobe DSP Certification exam?  I have over 15 years of experience in digital advertising and DSP's, and have significantly improved the performance on client campaigns, but this exam has me stumped.  I have gone through all of the learning/training materials at least 3x's.  Additional references tend to focus more on search, which I plan to take once i conquer the DSP one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Community   We have been working on a custom built integration between our website (powered by Squiz Matrix CMS) and Marketo to create a website personalisation layer to make our website more dynamic. Before we go live, we wanted to check our integration is both best practice and secure for Marketo.   Our integration takes the munchkin ID of incoming visitors to the site if available, performs a lookup via the SOAP API on the record to determine specific known attributes, and uses this information to serve up personalised content and passing it to Google Analytics. In the future as we look to enhance personalisation, we may also store this information in a data store.     We looked at using the munchkin API, but this did not provide a definitive method for getting lead data back to our CMS. Hi, community.We have pages on our site which we consider as "product view" in case of being visited by a user. Those pages may send not only one "global" mbox requests, they can also send several "not global" mbox requests related to AEM target components included on the page. All mbox requests utilize the same "targetPageParams" function returning entity.id and entity.categoryId values. Now the question:If a page sends, for example, 3 mbox requests having the same entity.* values, will this fact be treated by Target as if a user has viewed this product page 3 times ?

Does accessing these Health Check status or Monitoring Graphs cause any slowness to AEM. Health Check http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/operations/content/healthreports/healthreportlist.html Monitoring Graphshttp://localhost:4502/libs/granite/operations/content/monitoring/page.html Questions:1) These Health Check or Monitoring Graph (which reports on Memory / Disk Usage / Query cache / Indexes etc) reports in real time - So wondering if this causes extra load on AEM server repeatedly to gather data. 2) Also if it OK to run such reports at regular interval like every 4 hour on AEM Publisher in Production ? Thanks in advance.

Hello Community!New to Adobe Analytics (have been GA and Coremetrics thus far in my career). Looking to capture entry page visits to a specific page of our site with Vendor as a segment.We are using a URL redirect from  a call center campaign with a vendor to capture conversions from the call center. These sessions should enter on the page the vanity URL is redirecting to (has Adobe tag included in the redirect). If someone could point me to the path report I should use for this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there, I'm brand new on the AEM world and I'm already encourtning a problem... I work in a web agency whose main client works with AEM. I have a page that I have to modify with some simple raw code that i've developed myself. To do so, I created a Static Content, like I always do, where I paste my code HTML, CSS and JS.  The code works well when on preview, but the Static Content totally disappeared on edit mode! I remember already having this problem, to fix this I had to refresh the page and the Static Content Bar appeared again. But this time, no way! I refreshed the page so many times, I tried to cancel the page and recreated it again from the last save, I also cancel the page and created it again days later... The code inside still works but the Static Content still totaly invisible! so if the client ask me to change things, I will be stuck :'( I know that the Static Content is still present on the page because on the Preview Mode, my code works well

Hello, our site works fine with custom 404 pages served from our language directories where the error page is displayed properly and the status returned is a 404 on the initial page hit at the specific URL in question.   If, however, we hit the root of the site with an invalid link the custom error page is displayed, however viewing the network tab in a browser it first does a 301 redirect before hitting the custom error at /en-us/error/404 (so the URL does end up changing).   Looking into this, I found that I could get the correct behavior by editing our dispatcher configuration farm file by changing the first line in our filter section (1001) from deny to allow.  /filter {# Deny everything first and then allow specific entries/1001 { /type "deny" /glob "*" }/1002 { /type "allow" /url "/en-us*" }/1003 { /type "allow" /url "/de-de*" }/1004 { /type "allow" /url "/fr-fr*" }/1005 { /type "allow" /url "/it-it*" }/1006 { /type "allow" /url "/ja-j

Hello, Adobe Community We faced with issue of working ContextHub after update AEM 6.3 to 6.5. Team, We understand that there are few method to capture the MCID value and store it in respective variable (eVar or prop). We are capturing the MCID value through the "Experience Cloud ID Service" extension and data element type as "ECID". Please refer the screenshot showed below. I would like to check if this method is preferable way to capture the MCID value through the mentioned extension. I always see the value capture and fall under the respective variable, no issue found on this method.
