Hi,Have few questions. Can someone help me?- When we upload data into AAM, is there anyway to do the test first(i.e: upload test data first) and then prod data. I believe, we can create 2 different data sources(one for non-prod) and other one for Prod. If yes, how Data sources works in AAM. Will it differentiate based on DPID to identify the non-prod and prod data.- When we enable server side implementation(between AA-AAM) then the website data will go automatically sent to AAM in real time. And, in that case, Let's say if we dont want to show the personalized content through AT if the user successfully reached to the conversion page. i could see, that we can create the segment and exclude the user for those who converted/reached to the conversion page in AAM based on analytics data. But, my question is how quickly that segments will apply to Adobe Target. Assume that, if the user returning to our website within 2 hrs again.- When we upload file into AAM, do we need to use MCVID or UUI

Hi,I have recently started exploring AEM and I am seeing that even though there is a lot of information in user guides/tutorials, there is information overload. I have worked with Liferay and have fair amount of knowledge in Liferay and am trying to compare features and also build something to get acquainted with the platform.I saw in one of the forum posts, one of the community member has taken pain to list and group articles, but the links are to an outdated version of the platform. Hello,I am running into an issue trying to build and deploy to an Adobe Managed Services server with the content-package-maven-plugin. The server only has port 443 open for security purposes and will only work with HTTPS rather than an un-secure HTTP connection. I have downloaded and added the SSL certificate from the URL to my Java cacerts file and still the connection gets reset or times out when I try to build and deploy packages to that server through maven. I have also checked our firewall and our ports are open and we allow connection to the AMS server, I can telnet directly to the server with no issues from my local machine.Regardless, if I use the IP address with the port or the domain attached to the IP address to build to our Author instance it still times out or the connection gets reset.I also explicitly defined the location of the truststore cacert file in a .mavenrc file, and still no luck.Here is the .mavenrc file:MAVEN_OPTS="-Xmx512m  -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=/Library

Adobe Experience Manager Help | Prefill adaptive form fields As per this document, you can use service://[SERVICE_NAME]/[IDENTIFIER]to call a service to prepopulate a form and also use "Identifier" to pass more info to the service.Anybody has more details on what this IDENTIFIER is supposed to look like? Also how do we retrieve it from within the service?

Hi All -Need help.  Created a form with drop downs.  Copied the drop downs as they selections repeat by line items.  When I choose an option in the first drop down - it replicates in the copied ones and vice versa.  How do I get each drop down to be unique after copied?  Appreciate the help!

Hi All,I want to check and see if there is a way within either the Query Builder or any of the API's where we can get all the assets under a given path grouped by folder structureHere is a sample query that just gets the assets based on typehttp://localhost:6602/bin/querybuilder.json?p.guesstotal=true&p.hits=full&p.limit=-1&p.nodedepth=2&path=%2fcontent%2fdam… I want to see if we can get the JSON including the folder name and all the assets under the folder name grouped via folders.I can use the Query Builder API  to get the folders alone and then construct a custom JSON to get all child nodes under each folder of the Type Assets and their metadata but want to check and see if there is a better way to do this. From my reading, publishing anything in AEM means it's ready for use and will appear in creation process. I have lot's of question about it like who can publish, why can I use my image assets even tho I didn't publish it. Who can add asset and administrator can Approve the Added asset. Need more explanation on each default groups that were created and it's permissions. But my main question for now is what is this and how can I approve this?and thisAnswering my other questions are also appreciated. Thanks!

We had a client ask a question around what happens with campaign tracking/reporting if the campaign server is down? For instance, we send an email in the morning and 5 minutes later the Campaign server goes down. Is the reporting during the downtime lost?

We have Adobe Campaign Classic (v7) installed on a Windows server and want to setup an import workflow to pull data from a Shared network drive.We are doing this because there is a restriction on SFTP.However, the workflow refuses to recognize the network drive.Is this a limitation or do we need to do some kind of setting for access?

Hi guys,I have two AEM instances, 1 author and 1 publish.  While on the author instance my menu is visible, on the publish instance is not. It only became visible once I login as an administrator on the publish. I am using AEM 6.4 and I've never seen this before. What could be the issue on this one?

Hi,I can create audiences for normal profiles but I want to be able to create an audience with only test profiles but I don't see the option to do that when creating a new audience. Anyone got a clue on how to do this? I see I am able to add an audience to the test part of a deliveryBut it is of course empty because I don't have any audiences with test profiles in it.Is this a feature that will come at some point maybe?Kind regardsRobert

Hi All,Can we copy the column data in a schema into another?I'm trying to change the data type of an attribute in a schema and worried that i lost the previous data which are already present in the attribute when i change the datatype.For eg: Column/Attribute  A of type INTEGER has some data. Now i'm trying to change the data type to VARCHAR/STRING where i will loose the previous data.Is there any possibility to avoid the loss of data?Your response will be appreciate Regards,Venu

Hello. I am currently working on a specialized plugin for AEM and with the app that I'm using. It is just an enhancement to a project and there were no documentations from the previous team who did it so I'm currently having trouble configuring the source codes because it has errors on the pom.xml files. It only has 4 projects (main, core, ui.apps and the source code for the specialized plugin.) The error only exist on the core and the ui.apps. I've tried removing the .m2 folder and re-building the projects, but it doesn't work. I've tried maven update, clean and install but I am still encountering the errors. It also occurs several times. These are the some of the errors...The only declaration of uber jar in the main pom file is like this:While for the core and ui.apps, it's like this:But I've also tried adding this on the main pom.xml file but still encountering the same errors:<dependency>    <groupId>com.adobe.aem</groupId>    <art

We had some a/b/c/d tests that concluded pretty quickly (normally within a week) with a winner and high confidence level. However, after leaving the test running for another 2 weeks, the confidence level went down and tests concluded with a completely different winner with 95%+ confidence. Has anyone had the same experience and how do you deal with this situation? We have seen the worst performing variation when it's first concluded became the winner when it concluded the second time...

Hi,We plan to export data from Google Ads (pay-per-click account) and import it in Adobe Analytics. Already found the documentation and the steps to be followed.Still, we don't know how to deal with 30 days conversion window (period of time after a customer clicks your ad during which a conversion is recorded in Google Ads).Adobe says offline data imported through Data Sources will not be overwritten, meaning:eg. on 10/01 export I will have 10 conversions for 1/01 and on 11/01 export I can have 15 conversions on 1/01 (because of conversion window, so data could still be updating in Google Ads from one day to another with historcial data)........so for 1/01 I will see 15 conversions or 15+10=25 conversions.We are curious if there are others with this problem and how did you manage to deal with it?Thank you!

Hello,I have people signing up to receive news from my site via a Facebook lead form. These lead forms are put into Marketo and will trigger an email to the clients asking them to sign up to the site as a full member rather then only being signed up to receive newsletter emails.To make this transition extra easy for the potential member, the email being triggered will have a link to our websites direct form (That is NOT a Marketo form) and I would like it to prefill in their first name, last name, email, Mobile number (If captured fro Facebook) and post code (again if captured from Facebook).How do I create a link to the page that pre populates the form with the users saved details from Marketo?Please note some points:We can not use a Marketo form due to the nature of the sign up process on the sitePeople must sign up officially to the site and be a member to view the products available on the siteThank you in advance.regards,Storm
