Hello,I've been a happy DTM + Analytics user for 2 years now on my project. In my company a new team is also willing to use the solution and I'm trying to help them.I set up the projects and I have been trying a few things with no success so far.I created a simple page load rule, with no condition, setting evar1=1 and sending event1 and with custom page code to display a message in the console.When I load the page the satellite javascript is loaded, the page load rule is fired (as seen in the console & in debugger) but there's no call to Analytics (and no message in the console)...I guess I'm missing a basic setup but I've been scratching my head for a few days now...an idea ?thanks for your feedback Nico

Hi all,I am performing a upgrade from 6.2 to 6.4.2 through sidegrade.process,1. install venilla 6.42. install 6.4.2 SP23. repo migration from 6.2 to 6.4.2 through oak-upgrade.I would like to know if there are any issues that might arise using oak-upgrade, as far as I used in lower environment,I didnt find any issues.to use crx2oak the official migration tool, what should be the version I use  in CRX2OAK Migration Tool  ?the latest is  1.8.6 and the document says use oak 1.8.4, however 6.4.2 repository is with oak 1.8.7.is that ok If I use 1.8.6 jar  for 6.4.2 migration from 6.2 which uses repo 1.8.7?Thanks,Rajesh.

Hi, We've recently migrated to AppMeasurement library but it seems that s.Util.getQueryParam we've implemented consequently doesn't work properly. 1. Since s.Util.getQueryParam went live page url that is sent to Analytics contains clasifications IDs. Thus is case campaign landing page is www.oursite.com/landingpage/?clasificationID=1234 the page url that is sent to Analytics is www.oursite.com/landingpage/?clasificationID=1234 (should be www.oursite.com/landingpage/ only)2. s.Util.getQueryParam should be able to parse out clasificationID in case the are other parameters in ulr (like anchors). Lets say landing page is: www.oursite.com/landingpage/?clasificationID=1234#section1 .In this case, clasificationID sent to analytics should only be clasificationID=1234, but in reports we see clasificationID=1234#section1. Any explanation or fix tips would be appreciated.Thanks!      

Currently, AEM 6.3 instance is around 3 TB, and it is taking more than 50 hrs to complete the drive backup.In order to reduce the backup time, Will AEM's integrated backup tool i.e. "hot" or "online" be helpful. Is there any limitation of "hot" or "online" backup?

In AEM 6.2 communities , by default some blueprints to create a function is already available like blog (/content/communities/templates/functions/blog) , calendar , page etc . Using these blueprints we can create a function using this URL http://{server}:{port}/communities/communityfunctions . In Case i want to override a blueprint or want to create a new blueprint what would be an ideal approach ?1. I can override the template in /apps . for example : blog components refers to "/libs/social/console/templates/base_page" we can create a similar structure in "/apps/social/console/templates/base_page" . but disadvantages of this approach is if there are multiple websites on my AEM server then it will get override for each website .To overcome from this problem another solution is.2. Create a custom function blueprint on this path /content/communities/templates/functions path and create a function using this custom blueprint.Now my queries are : Is there any OOTB interface provided by AEM

I am using aem 6.2 with sp1 and cfp3 with asrp configures when i create article using blog component and creates article but as soon as i click on title and redirects me on details page where exception is thrown as Bad sort request.. NUMBERFORMATEXCEPTION FOR entry. And also page is displaying article twice on listing page without login but once i login listing page is fine but article detail page is same with full of exception any help???

While Testing the implementation rule order to stack different values before sending the beacon props and eVars seem to work as expected, but the event's string, although it appears stacked on the debugger, doesn't send all the events when the server call is triggered.Below is the first rule, order 10, which sets a bunch of props and eVar and also event45Below is the second rule, order 25, which sets some other of props, eVars and also event4,event24 which appear stacked with the previous event45Below is the beacon that was sent, order 50, with only event4,event24 I'm not sure if that's a bug or there's a reason all the events are not being stacked.

Hello, I've found several discrepancies or inconsistencies with the way AA displays data for the same segments or even with no segments at all. The more complicated the segments get the more of these issues I found so, I'm going to start by asking about this, which in theory should actually be super easy and straightforward and shouldn't cause any problems of this sort....I'm trying to set Repeat Visitors and New Visitors segments so, for the Repeat Visitors segment I'm using a Visitor container with "Visit Number" equal or more than 2 and for the New Visitor segment, I'm using a Visitor container with "Visit Number" equal or less than 1.They both work on the surface and when looked at separately, they seem to do exactly what I need.... however, when put side to side, in other words when I compare them, they give me very different results.They both show me the same number of TOTAL UV, V, PV, etc.... however, there's a massive overlap between them.I would expect to see "New Visitors" +

Hi everyone,We're currently using one partition in our Marketo instance that separates b2b and b2c records. We treat the two types of records very differently and so our lead lifecycle applies to one and not the other. There are key activities that move records from b2c partition to b2b, which at that point we'd like the lifecycle and other operational processes to take effect on the record. My question is, would there be a race condition where the change of partition might happen after processes in the lifecycle are triggered? I looked in this document, How Campaign Processing Works but didn't see anything about partition changes. Any insight is appreciated.Thanks,Danny T.

Regardless of whether I select the asset to activate or deactivate.  No issues with content updates only or with assets already in a publish state. This happens for our custom components and out of the box components. Marketing Nation - I'm hoping that someone has been here before and you can guide me. Our social folks are newer with Marketo. They want to do a dark post but they don't want to link out to a landing page. They would rather that when you hover over the post a form would pop up and then when that form is completed that it would be like a Marketo form and sync to our database. Does anyone know if you can do lightbox forms on dark social posts and send them to Marketo?Kristy

An email template of ours seems to have 2 different fonts. At the bottom of the email template is a grey box with a link for leads to visit an email preference center or just unsubscribe. It looks like "preference" and "unsubscribe" are 2 different fonts or sizes. I've tried to fix this but am not sure what needs to be fixed. Can someone help me with how to fix the fonts so "preference" and "unsubscribe" are the same font. Hi, I have 404 page in AEM 6.2 and if I change 404 to some random errors.html it is redirecting to 404 page. I have observed that the html is wrapped by <div> tag on viewsourcepage. Any solution to get rid off div tag ?? I have tried with cq:noDecoration: {boolean} true also unfortunately have noticed side effects on component level. Hi, we have been using the Adobe Analytics v1.4 apis for a few years to integrate with Adobe Analytics as a 3rd party.We have been using the WSSE header to authenticate and getting the user's the API Key with a call to "Company.GetLoginKey".This call no longer works after the user migrates to the cloud or has a new cloud account.I'm trying to understand what the best solution is short term and long term.I noticed I can get the users api Key from the "Web Services Credential" section if I am an admin. Using this key seems to work. Is this an acceptable short term solution?Longer term I understand that the customer needs to create an integration to Adobe Analytics api. It seems a "Service Account" is the best approach, but does not seem to work. I found this post that says it is currently not supported. Analytics API Will it be supported in the future?Are we forced to use OAuth at this point to call 1.4 apis?Thanks

Hi,Im trying to create a webapp in which fields of it should get populate from the variables which is declared in JavaScript . Query1.  When i try to display the js variable value in the webapp field by assigning it in (Via Context) , its assigning to the webapp variable but its not displayed in the webapp. (Attaching snapshot of how assigning)Query 2. In single webapp i need to include javascript codes, that should execute based on the previous field values.      For eg: I have 3 fields in webapp, the 1st and 2nd fields are populated using a dropdrop and the 3rd field should populate based on 1st and 2nd  fields value. After I see the quickstart folder, I go to bin and hit the start.bat the instance starts, but at the same time a file named as 'null' is created.Below is a snapshot of the folder view. Hi Marketo community,I need some assistance, please. I'm trying to create an RTP campaign that would catch website visitors that have not confirmed their emails when creating an account with us and get them to confirm by showing them a Dialog web campaign with an alert image which will have a CTA. Once they click the CTA, a campaign would be triggered in Marketo and a confirmation email will be sent. Meanwhile, the visitor is redirected to a thank you, your confirmation email is on the way page.I created the RTP campaign, and all is fine there as far as I can tell. The issue I'm having is getting an email campaign triggered - I can't seem to find the right trigger. I was hoping there would be a "clicks a web campaign" or something. Instead, the only thing I'm finding is "clicks RTP call to action". I'm not sure I trust this because my RTP campaign is an image..Here is what I have so far:thank you!

Hi Community,I have a landing page that will not transition to the next page. I have the button/image link type: action, action: next page, transition: to thank you page. Has anyone had this issue before, where their landing pages just wont transition?Any help is appreciated!Allie

Currently seeing anywhere from a 5% - 25% discrepancy in data reported in Adobe Analytics vs. data saved to the app tier of my site. As an example, we have an event that is used to track "submissions" into a program. Each time someone hits "submit" it fires an api call to the app tier that then adds that person to our entry table of the database. However, it would appear our app tier database numbers are much higher than our site catalyst numbers regarding total entries. There are even several consumers who have "submitted" per the data on our app tier, but aren't showing as ever hitting the submit button (event157) in adobe analytics.Does anyone else notice a discrepancy between your source database and adobe? Any insights into why this may be happening?

I am trying to create a custom Unsubscription page. I duplicated the out of the box WebApp and tried customizing it.However I am not able to find out how do I remove the default 'Validate' button or how do I customize it.Also, if I have my own button then what action should I script it to move to the next page?

When the trait expiration interval is set to 1 day, does it mean that the trait membership will be live for 24 hours from when the trait is first realised?Example: If Audience Manager receives a server call for a Rule-Based trait at 5PM on 13th Dec, does the trait remain live for 24 hours or does it expire at 11:59:59 PM on that day?
