Hi All, I am using Experience fragment in place of iparsys in Editable template as iparsys doesn't work in editable template. (iParsys-like behavior with layout containers? ).Can anyone tell if there is any limitation in using the same in place of iparsys.

I haven't used AEM in about 4 years so I'm familiar but not intimately so with the updated versions of the CMS. Right now, I'm doing research into whether or not this is even possible.Ideally, what I'd like to create is a standalone site of all the different AEM 6.4 components that our development team has created over time. There are about 20 components that I'd like to display in a list similar to the Carbon Design System. This would be used as a reference guide for our UX, creatives, and content authors.In order to minimize rework from our development team, and keep this site in sync with current component states, I want to be able to pull the component code directly from what's in AEM and display on this new standalone site. However, I'm not sure what that looks like technically. Is there a "component API" where we can pull that code out of AEM and then display in this standalone site?I know this will probably require something custom built - I'm ok with that - but I'm unsure of wh

Hi,Is there a way to get submit button's Element Name value in custom submit actions' post.POST.jsp on an AEM adaptive form?The usecase is one adaptive form contains two submit buttons with different Element names and in post.POST.jsp the business logic varies for each submit button.I tried resource object in post.POST.jsp but that gives adaptive form object.Thanks & Regards,Srikanth Pogula.

To display image on one page and Video on other. Do we need one template or two templates for this requirement? Also, both pages will use same or different java scripts.

I am using Data Sources to add order information. When I use the “Orders” column for line items in that order, it adds the orders as total. Example:OrderID: #1234567890#1234567890 Product1: (Order = 1)#1234567890 Product2: (Order = 1)#1234567890 Product3: (Order = 1) Total orders for that one OrderID is now 3, when it needs to be 1.How do I update the template to correct this so it does not total like this, and marks the OrderID as 1 order instead of counting all of its line items?

Hello,Before I go on, this is tricky to explain so please bear with me!So.... here is the scenario I am trying to record monitor....1) User visits page A (e.g. product)2) User does not visit page B (e.g. purchased)3) User returns to the website and visits page C (e.g landing page)My aim is to find out how many users visited a specific product page, did not purchase the product, and then returned to the website (this either in the same visit or in a future one). Though this is easy to create as a segment..... I have found myself restricted to the date range in the top right of the freeform table. What I would like to do is only have step 3 driven by the date range in the top right and have steps 1-2 having occurred within the last 30 days of the day on which step 3 happened.Hope I have made myself clear... if not... please do ask questions!Thanks in advance, Max

I'm cleaning up a significant amount of records in the lead database but it seems to have no effect on my segmentations. I figured out the "All Time" notice in the bottom right corner of the pie chart window but I wonder if there's a way to update the thing to reflect actual numbers. I tried to draft/approve segmentation without success.Any insights?Cheers, Simon

Hi All,I have made changes for Encapsulated token as part of AEM 6.1 in order to maintain user session and syncronization across multiple publish instances.(this works more like sticky connections,but need changes only in one config and not on load balancer level)Also, i have changed the value of Token Expiration in Apache Jackrabbit token configuration from default 12 hoursand have set the session timeout value to 20 minutes.(i have implemented a login functionality in my application and need that the user session should timeout after 20 mins of inactivity)But as i made the changes for encapsulated token(you can find more info on encapsulated token on the following link:Encapsulated Token Support )I observed that as encapsulated token functionality works there is no login token created within home/users .and because of that my user session expiration is not working at all.So, could you please suggest how we can set the session expiration in case of encapsulated token (where no login t

Hi Guys,I am adding fieldDescription property for a textbox, when I mouseover on that tooltip, textbox description message is not appearing in proper alignment and appearing on full width of page. In HTML snippet it is creating own tooltip div with height and width. Could you please suggest what I have to do in this so it appear in proper fixed layout which is default for tooltip? Hello,I am confronting with a problem when trying to add a field value to a custom activity using REST API. I've created the field, I've saved the custom activity. When I try to add the activity without that field, it all works well (i.e. the custom activity is saved in marketo, and can be seen there). Hi All,We have a scenario, where we want to show experience only once to user, until and unless user cleared all cookies etc. One way to handle this is manually through code, by storing a flag in localStorage or something like that and then suppressing experience (By writing custom code). Hi, we applied the instructions as found in tutorial http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-custom-cq-commerce-providers.html. The idea is to extend or enhance the default OOTB Adobe commerce provider. According to the javadoc this is a quote "a simple cart pricing architecture with single currency" unquote and FYI .... the hard-coded VAT rate of 6% is not very applicable for European customers .... By now, I'm getting rather used to the open-for-improvement-coding-techniques (plenty of unused variables, poor Java-naming conventions) but the NPE (null pointer exception) is especially annoying. this exception is being produced when the TrainingCommerceSessionImpl constructor invoked (invoking the super AbstractJcrCommerceSession constructor) and my suspicion is this NPE is part of this constructor. Please note we are using AEM 6.0 and I noticed the corresponding API has changed quite a bit between version 5.6 and version 6.0 many thanks for helping us out, Wim

Can anyone tell me how to find out if a form submission was received by a paid search or organic search? How do I create a segment for paid search? Do I need to apply Search engine = paid or paid search = paid as part of the rule in the segment?

Hello,I am new to Marketo. We imported our untapped lead list into Marketo and sent out an Email Campaign that leads to our web form.The issue is, since the list is imported, anyone who fills out the form from the list, does not come in as a new contact. (through Marketo or into Dynamics)Is there a way to set this up to have anyone who fills out a web form (regardless is they are in the system or not) to come into Marketo as a 'New Lead" and synced up to Dynamics CRM as a 'New Lead"?Thank you!

Our platform is used by English speaking content authors to author content in all languages.We wish to force the WCM authoring interface to use English for all out-of-the-box strings (editbars, context menus, sidekick, etc), while still using the i18n bundle for our own strings.So far: Tried setting the user's (and group's) preferences > language to English; WCM was still localized, even after re-logging in.  Even if it worked, I imagine it would use English for our own localized strings, which is not acceptable. Considered implementing RequestLocaleResolver to set the locale to 'en' for all author requests in WCM edit mode.  Again, I imagine it would use English for our own localized strings, which is not acceptable. Considered overlaying the WCM i18n dictionary, /libs/wcm/core/i18n.  I doubt this will work unless we overlay each of the i18n files with all of the English strings.  Less than desirable. Same as the overlay approach, but instead adding a new i18n dictionary under/apps

Hello Everyone !I have a question on the Referrer Dimension on the Adobe Analytics Workspace.Should Internal URLS be present on this dimension ?Internal URLs are the first type of referrers ( as "Other web sites").I thought that internal urls were "filtered" by the DTM.I could also just segment add an Internal Referrer segment and "not contain" my domain.Thanks for the help,Mario

In device type dimension , why do we get hits from 'media player' and 'gaming console' though these counts are less ?Its hard to believe that some one would use  'media player' and 'gaming console' every month visit a website.
