We would like to setup a DataSource import using transactionID to import offline transaction into a reportsuite.But the import file also contains records of transaction on products that belong to a different business unit which uses their own reportsuite.Therefore we would like to import ONLY those rules from the file that have an transactionid that is also recorded during a visit in the reportsuite.Is this possible directly from within Adobe Analytics?Or is the only option to build a script that first retrieves all transactionid values from Adobe using the API and filters the original import file based on these before uploading it to the data source import?Glad to hear what's possible

Hello, i am fairly new to launch, dtm and the Adobe ecosystem in general. My company relies on server rendered pages with page components served as part of html and initialized using javascript from a bundle that loads after the page does.  Using DTM, tracking data from this async bundle works. With Launch and async library loading - we sometimes loose tracking data due to fast user navigation.Ideally we want to wait until all components have loaded before submitting page load event so we can include as much tracking data as possible in that first call, but we cannot risk loose the page view event due to fast navigation. Is it feasible to send a page view event immediately, and then do a later call with additional data using Launch? Can these events be merged somehow?Message was edited by: Magnus Lien

I'm trying to break up my smart group with some geo targeting using a range of postal codes, but I cant seem to find a filter of it. I originally saw it in @Josh Hill​ 's response: Postal Code Range Filter but it doesn't show up in my Smart List Filter Options (see screenshot). Are my missing something? Does it not exist anymore?

Hello,I am new to Marketo and am running across an issue I can't find a good solution for. Our company does a lot of event marketing, so we use a common form for most of the registration pages. In an effort to not create endless fields (one for every event), we have one field for event attending. The issue here is that when a person fills out the form for one event, the field gets overwritten when they fill it out another event.The current solution we have is to create an archive field that writes the event name, with their answer "yes" or "no" for attending. This ends up putting every event a person has registered for in one, long, jumbled field. This makes sending event registrant reports a hassle and we have to do some manual cleaning in excel to pull out the specific event and if the person is attending or not. Not the best automated process.Has anyone come across this issue before?

Everything is set up correctly, however, after the first synchronisation of people's data, some fields are reset to zero or null.Here is an example of the activity log of a person for who the problem occured:After the SFDC action: insert, these fields were changed automatically.Does anyone know the reason why? Hi ,I am trying to understand the metrics : Click throughs vs Instances vs Visits from a Campaigns standpoint. How are these different and which is the one we should use to understand campaign performance. I looked at the definition on this link Compare visits and instances However, in my report the 'instances' are almost double the value of 'Visits' and to think of most users clicking on the campaign URL multiple times, in less than 30 minutes (definition of a visit) does not make sense. I admin over a web site with very seasonal and cyclical patterns (even within in a single week), as most eCommerce sites are so I am hoping this is not a difficult thing to do.I want to set up daily alerts that monitor transactions on every day either on a month over month or better yet a year over year basis. Meaning if the transactions change by more than 25% when compared to the same day of last month ( e.g. 4/5/18 and 3/8/18) or 1 year ago (e.g. 4/5/18 and 4/6/17) send an alertSo is there a way I can build an alert (maybe using calculated metrics functions and segments) that will only trigger based on a threshold compared to the same day month over month or year over year?ThnxJeff

Basically my question is quite simple, it relates to this article - Time Spent  - and mainly I would like to know, which metric is currently best used to currently output time users spend on a particular page (when using the pages dimension). Based on the article I concluded that it is - Average time spent on site - is this correct?A further question then is maybe an explanation, lets say I break down a report by pages, and I get 80secs for an item using 'average time spend on site' metric and 120secs for metric 'Time spent per visit'. Am I correctly interpreting that the first is basically the average time users spend on that particular page (in that dimension's line item) and the second is average that the visits who visited that page at some point spend on the entire site? We uploaded a PDF file as an image in Design Studio so we could easily link to it. However, it's currently pulling our default Marketo metadata. Is it possible to include a title and description for an image asset in Design Studio? Thanks.

We've put our made our privacy policy a checkbox field on a form, so that people have to agree to it when they fill in that form. We want to link out to the privacy policy within that field so people can see what they're signing themselves up for. When I include the link in the form label, you can't actually click on it in the checkbox field, because it naturally checks the box instead. It only does this on embedded forms in the website - when it's a Marketo landing page, you are able to click that link strangely. Can anyone suggest a work around please? Bearing in mind there is now data against this field.

I'm poking around in RCE and am trying to create a custom measure to use in an opportunity analysis field. Essentially, I want to recreate the Opportunity Amount measure, but using a custom synced field (we don't use the native Amount field in SFDC opportunities). However, when I click "Create Calculated Measure" the only fields visible are standard fields or existing measures. Is it not possible to create a custom measure based on a custom field?

I'm setting s.campaign in DTM (AppMeasurement) in a page load rule and have a couple of events that fire when a user starts/completes an online application. I need help in doing load testing using JMeter. I wrote my scripts and it's working fine on my local. Using JMeter, I can login, perform Omni Search and able to test other custom functionalities also on my local AEM instance. When I try to do the same thing on remote instances, JMeter is error'ing out.First step is to login to remote instance - I am doing a POST call to /libs/granite/core/content/login.html/j_security_check and passing all the parameters but I get a 403 Forbidden error. As part of the POST call, I am passing necessary Request Headers as well such as: Host, User-Agent, Referer. (I actually traced the POST call using Firefox when I normally login to AEM using browser and grabbed all the Request Headers from there).Just wondering if I need to enable RMI or something on remote instance to connect or am I missing anything?Thanks.

Hello,I wanted to understand how retroactive data can be used in destination publishing via AAM? We have imported a large chunk of our data when we decided to go ahead with AAM.Please help me understand if the imported data can be used for destination publishing without the users having to do actions again which will qualify them to be populated in a trait/segment and then later being sent for some destination.I basically want to use the data set which I already have to be used for targeting. This data is dated years back so chances of those users to visit again and do actions again is bleak thus I wanted to know if there is a way around.Adding to it, how is the offline data stored in AAM? Is there any MCID created in AAM after the upload is done and when the id sync happens the new MCIDs are mapped to the corresponding CRM-ID? Can we create traits in AAM solely depending upon the values which we passed in the file and it would start showing numbers?Thank you in advance.-Harshit
