Hi, I found info about sharing Visitor ID from App to websiteVisitor Tracking Between an App and Mobile Web I was wandering if the reverse process is possibile: starting a navigation on website and then opening the app sharing the same visitor ID.Thanks.Maurizio

If the SFTP location has multiple files, All files are picked up at one go and once picked for processing, they are removed from the SFTP folder.Is there any way we can stop auto deletion?

I'm new to Velocity Scripting, but I want to make a script that generates the name of the newsletter someone has just subscribed to.Basically whichever trigger fired off the email (a new subscriber was submitted) I want to use the updated subscription field to insert the newsletter's name. I've no clue if this is even possible with velocity script, but barring making separate emails for each I'm not sure of another way to do this in Marketo.

I inherited a Marketo instance that is mapped to SFDC. Looks like the Marketo State is mapped to SF Mailing State, but the information is not showing up in Salesforce. This is due (I think to the fact) it is a custom field. See belowI think I should just map it to a regular non-custom field in Salesforce. Is this correct? Advice welcomed : )Thanks

Encountered "#set" near" (followed by my code)Given that Marketo converts all data types to a string, I think I need to format the dates into a number in order to effectively call the date.difference method - but other than that I'm not sure what's going wrong.Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi all!I have embedded a form on our website. When the form is filled out, I'd like for the user to stay on that same page, but know that their form submission was successful. Any ideas on how to create a confirmation without navigating away from the page? I'm thinking either 1) change the button text after submission (for example, "thank you!), 2) have a popup confirmation window, or 3) disallow another form fillout.Thanks,Samantha

All of these clicks are logged in Marketo so this discussion was focused on filtering out bot clicks to get better reporting.Today, this topic led me to ask the question, Should we as marketers be concerned about this issue with regard to capturing double opt-in consent?The purpose of Double Opt-In is to gain consent from the individual that asked to receive your emails by having them confirm their selection via email, however the issue outlined above leaves room for false positive consent.Imagine the unideal scenario where a prospect takes legal action as they did not consent to receive email becasue "they" did not click the link in the email to confirm, but their security bot did.... would really suck....Is anyone else concerned about this? Hi All,We are having trouble with some metrics set up as participation metrics....as we understand it, the Adobe participation metrics work per visit...yes?In the report below, you can see the issue....the little (p) we append in reports indicates participation...in this case, the ShopOrders(p) and Docs(p) will occur in a different site section, so we need to use participation to see if a site section has any impact on key metrics.In this case, we describe the ShopOrders and Docs (document downloads) as "Shop Orders and Document Downloads that occurred during a visit that included our Marketplace site section (which uses the channel prop).I can explain the visits/visitor discrepancy pretty easily: the same visitor accessed the site over time from different referrers. That makes sense. The Orders and Docs doesn't...if I understand participation, it is per visit...and since there can be only one referrer per visit, then the numbers should not overlapped.Are we running an invalid report?

Edited for current code: We have several newsletters and I've been trying to get a script working that checks if someone is subscribed and if so lists the newsletter name. For some reason I just can't get it to work even though this script is identical (except for the field used) to others I'm using that work. It is a boolean field, not sure if maybe I'm doing something with that wrong?Also if you have any recommendations for pulling a list of subscriptions it would be appreciated. Since the existing the "Exit Pages" can't be broken down by an eVar, I would like to setup an eVar to track Exit Page.I don't see any way to configure an eVar Allocation to store the last value (to use in conjunction with visit expiration).There is the "Original Value (First)" option but no "Last Value (Last)" option.Is there a workaround for this?Ali

Scenario:Group-A & Group-B both have separate Adobe Analytics accounts.Group-A can customize the current javascript implementation on their website.Group-B wants a small set of data from a specific user event on Group-A's website to be sent to Group-B's Report Suite(We need to send Group-B some link click data)My understanding so far:The s.sa() function can be used to change the Report Suite ID on the flyThis would allow Group-A to toggle between report suites when specific user events occur. ::thumbs up::I assume this only works for Report Suites in my Analytics account.We would prefer to implement this via custom code instead of VISTA rules.Is it possible to send data to a different organization's suite?Thanks!

When we have parameters in the url, we can use request.requestParameterMap[value] ....It was working fine in 6.1 but in 6.3 after CFP1 installation ,its working only when the url has parameter else its throwing an error "org.apache.sling.api.SlingException: Cannot get DefaultSlingScript: org.apache.sling.api.SlingException: Cannot get DefaultSlingScript: null ".. I tried to validate to put the code only when the url has parameters .but I am not able to check whether the url has parameters or not in sightly ...Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Hi,Currently we have a "/etc/map/https" configuration on our publish environment (author & publish are hosted on 2 different servers).This is because all the urls on the publish environment need to be user friendly. we don't want to publish urls containing "/content/en_us/path/index.html", but we want "en_us/index.html". This is working fine on the publish environment.But now we have integrated Adobe Campaign in AEM and Campaign is connected to the Author instance (like the documentation has described Integrating with Adobe Campaign 6.1) It doesn't connect to the publish environment but author. The problem now is that all the urls also need to be transformed to a "en_us/index.html" like URL. when campaign fetches the content from author. We can set the same etc/map configuration on the author instance. this will solve the problem, but it also creates another one.When setting up the '/etc/map' configuration on author, all the urls in edit, preview, design mode will rewrite the urls

Hi All,We are using latest version of cq-personalization jar available in repository (http://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public​) in our custom bundle which is working fine till AEM 6.1. Now we are migrating to AEM 6.3, and there we are getting error as "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/day/cq/personalization/UserPropertiesUtil". In AEM 6.3 web-console, the version of cq-personalization jar used by default is 5.10.60, which is not available to download from maven repo. Did anyone faced similar issue. So, I would like to ask, is there any report could list the numbers of average page visited before cart or click and what the paths are?E.g. We would like to see, from the user entries our website, until visit "cart" or click on "Contact support" (activity map link), how many pages are viewed, and what the pages/paths are.I understand from path / flow report, we can see the path, but it's only for "page", and not possible get a list of "numbers of page visited", also it's not for specific "click" on activity map link or success event.Also I learnt Sequential Segmentation could helps, but I am learning on it.So, it's better to see either:1. list of average pages visited before "click on contact support" or success event (e.g. add to cart) or a specific page:     visit 1 page: 900 visits     visit 2 pages: 3,412 visits     visit 3 pages: 237 visitsIf can break down the detai

Does anyone know if there is a way to alter the follow disclaimer at the end of Marketo email Templates "This email was sent to you because your email preferences are set to receive our updates." This issue is, we purchase lists from an outside broker and email them through Marketo. We'd like to be as transparent as possible since these list leads.

A client of ours is porting their site from 6.1 to 6.3. There are some components for which the edit frame and edit icon do not display when clicking inside them in edit mode. I can get to the configuration from the content tree in the sidebar but authors cannot access the configuration from the touch UI like other components. It isn't specific to any particular component s but they are components added to a page component in the content.xml file and are simple added as follows:<div id="content" class="event-page" data-sly-resource="${@path='hero', resourceType='client/components/custom/heroes/article_hero'}"></div>There is a touch UI edit dialog defined in the component's resource and it works when accessed from the configuration icon in the sidebar but the toolbar is not enabled when clicking inside the component.Any ideas why?
