I'm here to admit defeat. I'm the newly appointed admin of our WF instance and was labeled the SME even though I'm still learning the platform. Our original setup was everyone was in one big Group as their home group, then they were sectioned off via Teams for their smaller ones. Since Group is a big reporting object, I thought it didn't make sense to lose (basically) this reporting function, so I created new groups and divvied everyone up accordingly. When that happened, every user started having trouble looking at projects. They all received the error "You do not have sufficient privileges to access this project." and a Request Access button. There aren't any Group level permissions from what I can see, so I'm not sure why changing the Group would impact literally all of my users.  Basically I want the Groups to be like Martech, Creative, & Strategy while having the Teams be like Designers, Production, Email, etc. Previously the Group was Marketing with the Teams b

We have a mobile app running on iOS.  Starting September 20th – the launch of iOS 15 – our visits metric began steadily increasing, and continues to this day.  However, most of these increased visits don’t have a page view associated with them.  When I create a segment for “visits with page views >=1”, those visits remain on the trendline that we expect. iOS 15 introduced a feature called App Prewarming, where the operating system will launch the app and execute the launch sequence up to a certain point then pause it – in an effort make the actual user-initiated startup happen faster.   We use the Adobe Launch mobile SDK and have it tied to the app’s lifecycle events.  We also use Firebase tied to lifecycle events and it shows the same increase in visits, so what we are seeing is most likely related to this Prewarming ‘feature’. Has anyone else seen this and what actions have you taken in response?

Hi,I am looking at a solution to create a task list/proof approval report. I would love to include the fields: Campaign Name, Parent Task Name, Task Name, Due Date and % Complete, but also the proof, that is linked to the task, the approver and the approver decision. Hello community, Is there anybody here who has made some experiences concerning the Adobe Workfront Document Webhooks to integrate an external document provider? I know, this is a quite old "feature", which does not seem to be actively worked on, but I hoped, that at least the basic functionality would work. I started using this documentation, but although my middleware provides valid JSON, I do get the following error message:Cannot deserialize the response message I there is anybody out there having experiences with this, I would be glad, if you could share some insights. Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

Is it possible to re-order the custom field Groupings in a report? Example: See screenshot attached.. It currently randomizes the order - I'm unsure to the logic behind it.  I'd like it to be:Tier 1Tier 2Tier 3Tier 4N/A

In Workfront when you click on a timesheet profile, there is a setting for who becomes the approver for any generated timesheets.This field is not available on the timesheet profile TSPRO object. I have looked through many other objects and cannot find where this field is available over the API.How can one query this field from Fusion or over the API?Ultimately I need this field for generating timesheets in a special way using Fusion.

Hi there, I have a unique problem. We have non-headless bot crawlers on our site that visit one specific page, leave, and then change their IP via iCloud's Privacy Relay, change their user agent, clear cache and cookies, and then re-visit the same page to scrape data.  Typically we would implement bot rules that exclude IPs from a given ISP/bot farm, but with iCloud's privacy relay, the gigantic pool of IPs being used overlaps with real customers! We have an exclusion segment in place, with talks of making a virtual report suite that also gets around these bots. Before we spend billable hours though, I just wanted to sanity check if anyone here would do it differently. Am I missing anything regarding bot rules, or have these bots truly stumped adobe's frontline capabilities? I know this isn't an adobe Launch forum, but surely there's nothing to be done there either without a mountain of (arguably) delicate JS.  While brainstorming, perhaps I could make a better excl

Hi everyone In Adobe Live Cycle Designer ES4, I have a text field named "TEXT" (option "Allow Multiple Lines" activated). It is binded to a string field of an ABAP structure.I want to change certain parts of the text field to bold. They are already marked with "\b" for the starting point and "\b0" for the ending point.How is that possible? I am not good with Javascript :(TEXT.font.weight = "bold" works for me, the complete field changes to bold. But how can I change certain parts of the text field? Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Hello guys , As per this docs - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/debugging/debugging-aem-as-a-cloud-service/logs  , custom log file is not supported in  AEM aa CS .I have tried writing custom logs to error.log in org.apache.sling.commons.log.LogManager.factory.config~test.cfg.json using below configuration . But I am still not getting custom log statements in aemerror.log file ( from developer console ) .    { "org.apache.sling.commons.log.names": [ "com.brandnew.core.models.TestClass" ], "org.apache.sling.commons.log.level": "INFO", "org.apache.sling.commons.log.file": "logs/error.log", "org.apache.sling.commons.log.additiv": "false" } Could you guys please suggest any other solution or point out any mistake in above steps?  

Hi,How are bundle numbers created?I have two instances of AEM 6.5 installed in two machines. A bundle (say 450) is present in instance A but not in instance B. One suggestion is to get a copy of the missing bundle from A and install it in B. The instance B already has a different bundle with the same number 450. Will this overwrite the existing bundle in B? I cannot change the bundle internally by re-bundling it with an unique number. This is not an option for me. Is it safe to rename the bundle number from the file system in the launchpad/felix folder? Are there any other suggest to resolve it.Thanks

I have some varaince being captured in click stream for natural traffic down by 26% when comparing it against adobe analytics datawhy would this happen ?this trend was observed only for specific few dates in a month no key trend like weekend or week day.The impact is not much but thought of investigating.

Hi all, I was trying to setup a dispatcher on our Linux server which is also running AEM on 4503. I followed the Adobe documentation at "Installing Dispatcher | Adobe Experience Manager" When i add an entry DispatcherConfig conf/dispatcher.any inside conf/httpd.conf file, i am not able to restart httpd. I have only modified the below files as per the documentation, attached them for your referencehttpd.conf file (placed under conf directory) dispatcher.any (placed under conf directory)  If i comment the line which prevents dispatcher restart, from logs i could see dispatcher returning 404 and also says "Dispatcher set as handler, but not configured in server [publisher url]" I am able to see Dispatcher initialized successfully message, so i know dispatcher module has been loaded successfully.For a start i included wild cards under /virtualhosts in dispatcher.any. Added aem publisher URL under /renders . Anything else i am missing ? Thanks for any

Context :1. AEM is running on sp12 2. Workflows are not transient and we do not want to convert them to transient since we need the history. Problem :  We have a workflow where we need to introduce process step and have below logic in it :if(custom field is valid){   proceed with usual flow;}else{   terminate/complete the workflow;}I have used "wfSession.terminateWorkflow(wfSession.getWorkflow())" to terminate the workflow. Ideally this method should abort the workflow and not retry it. However, in sp12 there seems to be an issue that it retries and then marks it as abort. I found a discussion if workflow is made transient, issue will be resolved. The Recommendations Catalog (Feeds) is considered by me as a central place for storing products in Adobe Target. The documentation says that anyone can go and change the data in this catalog using a simple mbox request to update an entity in the catalog: "... Item descriptions can be passed into Target using feeds or mboxes ...".  Lets suppose, the catalog has the following records: entity.id | category.id | message | ...1 | category1 | message1 | ...2 | ... | ... | ...etc..Lets suppose we have a scenario where:1) User "A" goes to a page with recommendations activity where they see "mes1" in recommendations related to entity.id=12) A bad user "B" updates entity.id=1 by the mbox request with with a message = "bad message"3) User "A" reloads the page and sees message "bad message"Is this scenario possible ? By default whenever we upload a new image, it looks the asset processes, and renditions are visible. How do we disable this feature?

Recently we are noticing that newly created pages is not having any jcr:uuid associated with it. Is there any way to enable the automatic generation of jcr:uuid for every new page created. It was working fine when we checked last time.
