Hey There Fellow Marketo-ers!I have a question for you all. We run an annual user group conference. Existing customers are given 2 free tickets to attend. We assign a person at a customer Account as a "VIP". (The VIP is basically the person with a promo code allowing for the 2 free tickets).What we'd like to do is assign a person as a VIP on a customer Account Object in SFDC. Then, we can use tokens to auto-generate that VIP person's name in mails that we send out to other contacts in that Account. Basically saying reach out to your VIP at your company if you want to attend and use the free ticket you are allotted. Last year we did this by assigning the VIP with the SFDC contact ID of that person and then creating a formula to pull in the actual name of the person that we would use as the token field in marketing emails. Hello Marketo community,I'm working on a form with radio buttons, and based on these radio buttons I was looking to change a hidden form field's value when a registrant submits the form. Is it possible to dynamically change this value in real-time?My alternative solution was to have a trigger listen in on the form fill selection and changing the field value after form submission. I wanted to know if this could be done in real-time on the form itself?ThanksSteven

We have been using AEM since CQ 5.4 when a component gets rendered it gets a generated div that wraps the component and in that div it gets some classes like "section". Usually people post to the community asking how to get rid of these. We have the opposite problem, we're trying to figure how to get them back.We're in the process of upgrading from 6.1 to 6.3. When we upgrade our publish instance it no longer renders the wrapping DIVs and completely messes with the designs that are in place.Any ideas would be appreciated

Hi All, MKTO Web Personalization allows you to show customized content for different targets. For example, show a specific web banner when country is U.K. and Job Title is Marketing Manager. However, I'm not sure where do these values (U.K., Job Title) come from. Is it from MKTO? I'm asking this question because if you have some dirty data in your MKTO instance this segmentation would be difficult (for e.g. if Job Title or Country happened to be a string for some reason). Would you have to ensure all your data is clean before using Web Personalization?Thanks,

Hi there. I'm relatively new to Marketo, but have several years of experience with email marketing using other programs. Here's my scenario:I have a campaign that is going out this month. It previously went out in September, and July as well. Previous users of our account created a new program for each instance, even though there were minimal changes to the email content, aside from the dates of the events that were taking place. I can see a benefit to continuing in this manner. It helps keep lists clean, but it also seems like it's creating extra work, having to recreate the program each time (even though the cloning tool makes this simpler).Thoughts from a best practices perspective?

In the AEM, I create one page by using the template Adobe Campaign Email (ACS), in the created page, I drag and drop some Text Field (Campaign) component into the left column, when I try to click into the component (to configure additional properties), it just can't work, what I get is the outer component "New Paragraph (Campaign) " is highlighted and there is only '+' button available. my question is how I can select the inner component and configure it?

Hello,I am in the process of upgrading my AEM 6.0 instance to AEM 6.2. We have a rather large blog that utilizes the cq-social-blog (com.adobe.cq.social.cq-social-blog). I realize that the social blog was deprecated in AEM 6.1 and completely removed in AEM 6.2. I need this functionality back for AEM 6.2. Hi,We need to traverse our entire content repository and return a list of all pages and all the components authored in each of these pages.The number of pages are high. I can think of the below ways and need views and suggestions from the community.1. Using Queries. We need to run the query at each market level (eg content/domain/market1 , content/domain/market2 etc) and get the results. This works but since the number of nodes are pretty high, this takes quite some time (we are still trying to tune some indexes though)2. The component Report which is available out of the box. Two questions here     a. Will this report give back result in a json format?     b. Does this report internally use queries only?3. Hi Community!Looking to see if someone has had experience passing/posting data from their Marketo instance to another company's SFDC Web-to-Lead form?We've recently started working very closely with a partner and are planning to share leads with them. They have shared with us a SFDC Web-to-Lead form and I was curious if there is a way to post to that form using a Webhook (I think the answer is yes, but how to set up this particular webhook I'm not certain about).  Ideally, I would like to include it as a flow step in my trigger campaign whenever someone fills out the form on that particular partner's page.  Or maybe there is a better way of accomplishing this goal?Thanks.

I'm trying to send a sample email and the lead name is not populating in the test. Do I need to turn on a specific field for this to show up. Or does it not show up in the test emails at all? We want to be sure the names are populating before we send off the emails. In our email it shows:Hi {{lead.FirstName:default=edit me}}, When the email is sent it only shows this:Hi  , Thanks for your answers in advance!

When I run my campaigns, I only want SFDC synced leads to be added to a SFDC Campaign if they open, click, fill out form. If they are Marketo-only leads, I only want them synced to the campaign if they fill out a form.I tried using the SFDC Type (person) is NOT EMPTY as criteria to achieve this, but it seems that there are Marketo-only leads that have been synced to SFDC in the past, but deleted from SFDC afterwards, and their SFDC type still stays as "lead" in Marketo. So they are not being properly excluded.I'm wondering if there is another field I can base the criteria on that would work even if the lead was previously synced to SFDC and then removed to become a Marketo-only lead.Thanks in advance.Danielle

I feel like I'm going crazy here... I have given a role 14 of 14 Marketing Activities permissions (which I didn't want to do), but I still can't send a sample email!! Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution? Maybe this is a bug and I need to file a support ticket?
