We have an authenticated page that returns a json with the different types of accounts a client has with us.  I want to use Target to present an offer based on the account type.  Is there a way to make Target to be aware of the values returned in this json file?  I'd prefer not to use Customer Attributes.  Will profile scripts work? We are brand new on Target Standard using at.js.

This week I had a lead into my system using a Gmail address but quite a bit of information (registered for my upcoming event). I got a notification saying there was a sync error: "Failed: DUPLICATES_DETECTED: Use one of these records?"I looked for a dupe by email, but couldn't find it. Eventually I realized there was a duplicate of this lead...under a completely different email address (his work email address).I opened a ticket with Marketo asking how Marketo was able to identify the lead using fuzzy logic, but they responded that Salesforce did this and rejected the sync! My CRM guy said a new release came out from SFDC and it might be related to that. Has anyone else seen this??

My website is not caching any file in the dispatcher, even though all permissions seem to be OK.I cleared the bare docroot folder: /opt/aem/dispatcher/docroot/ to be on the safe side, but no affect.The dispatcher and Error logs look like below. Not sure why the 'permission denied' error is there in disp logs. We were recently notified by our security team that they are not allowing any email sent by third-party providers (like Marketo) to authenticate as our primary domain (avanade.com) - to mitigate against any spoofing, phishing attempts, Marketo getting hacked, etc.  Instead, we need create a subdomain - like "marketing.avanade.com" when configuring SPF/DKIM/DMARC.  This is also in alignment with our parent company, Accenture (and Microsoft).  I just wanted to get some thoughts from the experts in the community around this topic (e.g., @Sanford Whiteman​) before I give the go-ahead to proceed with this.  I guess what's most concerning is when we use tokens - like "sales owner email" to populate the FROM and REPLY-TO fields of an email.  We will constantly need to ask IT to map any new email addresses to one that has this new sub-domain.Interested to hear what others have to say about this - especially those that use this approach today.  Anything we need to be aware of, gotchas, etc.?

Hi all,I've started recently to use Adobe Analytics with DTM, and I just implemented the Time Parting  3.4 plug-in. Right now I have the time & day of the week being collect into evars, but the time is at minute level (example: 11:25). I would like to capture these value in buckets of 30 minutes or 1 hour. I think there are two ways of doing this, correct? By using classifications or by configure the plugin it self. Can someone please share how to achieve this?Thanks.Carlos

Hello All,I have been looking into AEM forms functionality as a potential option for us to use AEM forms to be designed in Author environment and publish them. (However not looking to utilize publish side submit functionalities yet, allowing users to download forms directly)The desire is to generate a pdf format of the form that is finalized in Author and actually publish the pdf form for users to download meanwhile retaining the form filling capabilities. Can this be done while being in Author environment?

Hello All,I am trying to use the "Store PDF" option available under- Create adaptive form (test-form)- Go to Classic UI-On top, in front of "Start of an adaptive form", click "Edit"- Click on "Submit actions" tab-Select dropdown option "Store PDF" for Submit actionI see the Store Path as "/content/usergenerated/content/forms/af/test-form/*"I activate the form and as a user click on 'Submit' button from Publish. Hello,After checking that in our PRO AEM environment the active sessions number is increasing over the time, we have performed a small test. Basically, from an external application we are modifying the content and every modification is performed between a lock-unlock block. Surprisingly, every lock operation creates a new active session that is not released neither after unlocking nor after logging out. We track the number of active sessions using the AEM monitory tool (http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/operations/content/monitoring/page.html ).  ¿Is there a way to release all those active sessions? In AEM 6.3 /apps/core, there is a list component. Try to reuse this component and just overwrite the item.html to make a news listing component.I have a news component with title, date, content and News.java (using sling models: adaptables = SlingHttpServletRequest.class).  A list component lists all news.I reuse the list.html, however I have to modify the item.html to retrieve the news node. Hi,I want to write a custom jquery/js function for some hide/show manipulations in dialog.If I place this in clientlibs folder[having categories String[] cq.authoring.dialog, dependencies String[] granite.jquery] which has js.txt[having name of custom js/jquery file] and the custom file.If i just put  the below $(document).ready(function() {    alert('check');});in custom file,alert is displayed when I refresh the page and not when I open dialog. Trying on this for quite some time now, but no luck. Shouldn't ideally this alert be displayed when I open the dialog rather than on page refresh.Also, created the clientlibs folder at component level, but still the same behavior.Not sure what is it that I am doing wrong. Any thoughts on this will be really helpful.

Hi ! Two parts: This may be quite a beginner question (as I have previously never worked with the marketo and syncing process) but how exactly does the syncing process work between Marketo and Salesforce? I was reading this "Understanding the Salesforce Sync - Marketo Docs - Product Docs " but it didn't really explain much to me. My 2nd question now resides with -  say I have a Marketo email that sends to a database and has a register now button. The register button now sends the user to an external form (not hosted by Marketo). The user fills in their details and we now have their data. Is there a way to ensure that it automatically flows to SDFC or is that automatically covered through the syncing process as enquired with question 1. Once again - it is quite a beginner question but I am just getting my head around all of this because in the past, I was mainly just working on building the emails and never had to touch the syncing / salesforce process. Thanks all!

Hello fellow AEM users,we are searching for a component that aggregates other components like for example a Text Image component. The aggregated component should use the implementations of both the text and image component (no code duplication), but there should be no possibility to add or remove components (like in a parsys).So it's basically a container for the actual components, making it easy to drag this container onto a page instead a having to find all the required components myself.What would be the options to accomplish this?

Hi,I would have a general question of the architecture ob my AEM application.I have to do a simple task -> show an external .csv file at a page of an AEM application - there should be no author actions or something else.Currently I am not clear how to develop it - should I create a Component where I will load the csv over a javascript file or is it better to make an OSGi Bundle which loads the data and I access the bundle over REST- Service or ...I would be glad for any hint in this direction.Thanks a lot!
