Hello All,I am trying to migrate comments from AEM 5.6.1 to AEM 6.2 (SP1 FP2). The comments in AEM 5.6.1 is legacy code not per OOTB comments functionality. For migrating I am looking to pick comment entries and create MSRP entries using the CommentOperation. I followed the UGC Migration Github link (by AEM Marketing Cloud) to take an idea how the comments can be generated as part of migration. The Github tool uses JSON as input, I am using JCR nodes as source.I see that following: (comment)operations.create(resource, author, properties, attachments, session) is used to create the comment entries. In "properties" I am putting {"added":"time when comment was actually added"}I am able to use the same logic to create the comment entries. However I see that in the entry all the time related properties i.e timestamp, latestActivityDate_dt, published -- All refer to the current time when migration was attempted. The "added" property is only reflected inside the "Object" part of the activity

Hi,I am creating a temp file using following method in OSGI bundle.Files.createTempFile("temp", ".json"); .When I run the script in my local server it is getting created under  C:/Users/vasim/AppData/Local/Temp/temp1233433455.txt. I am accessing that file in my javaScript and doing some operations on it. I have deployed the code in UAT server. In UAT it is creating files  /opt/aem/. Now I am unable to access that file in my JavaScript. I tried by creating file under /content. Then also it is not working.Regards,Vasim

We've used a simple javascript on our landing pages that, if turned on, keeps a user on the landing page and displays a message. The message itself is just a mktoString metatag in the landing page template, so that we can change the message. We've run into a few occasions, where we wanted more than just a message - html, a link. a way to reload the page. But I don't believe those are feasible using just a mktoString Token, which I don't believe can accept html, and wouldn't be efficient if it could I suspect.Any suggestions? Hello All,In my marketing contract report, under the table I can see the total pageviews, sessions etc. but I can not see Conversion Rate total and Bookings.It shows only n/aDo you know why this could happen?Thanks,D.

We are working on moving some projects from AEM 6.0 and 6.2 one of the applications has an error and documentation hasn't been helpful.her is the reduced case querybuilder querytype=cq:page path=/content/nera/en/experts p.hits=full p.nodedepth=1 1_property.opertaion=like 1_property=jcr:content/jcr:title 1_property.value=Dr.The issue is that even though the operation is set to like only full matches are returned. partial matches return no results however on AEM 6.0 partial results are returned. In my case the value of "Dr." returns nothing while Dr. Lawrence Wu which is an existing node returns the page.Any help appreciated

Hi,          I have got a requirement where, I need to create a component with dialog, i will add few text fields into it.          On dialog submit, default behavior : the values entered via dialog will be stored under the current page's jcr:content (or under par node if we use parsys)          I want the values entered in dialog to be stored under any other path in repository other  /content/../currentPage/par node (may be in /var/audit/ node)           Is there a way to configure the dialog submit behavior and modify according to my requirements?               for ex : I have a component :  /apps/myProject/components/sample                       And in component's dialog i have 2 text fields :  cq:dialog->content->layout.....->items->text1 and text2                      Once i drag-drop this component onto a page and enter vaues to text1 & text2 fields and submit the dialog,                       The values get stored under : content/somepath/myPage/par/sample ->

Hi,I have started developing on AEM 6.3 but there are some dependency issues. The package com.adobe.cq.sightly is not resolved in aem 6.3 felix console. It gives error like this com.adobe.cq.sightly com.adobe.cq.sightly,version=[3.1,4) -- Cannot be resolvedI am using a class which extends WCMUsePojo. I have also included uber.jar in the pom.Can you point me to if there is some change here in 6.3 for this. Is it that it now allows only sling models to use ?Regards,

Not sure if this is the right question for this forum but do you know if in Adobe Campaign Standard, I can extend the profile form to add more section.The default sections when accessing a profile are General, Subscription, Tracking, Sending logs. I want to add a section to see Transactions of that user. How can I do that.I tried doing it by extending the profile custom resource in Adobe Standard, but that's not helping out.Sorry if this question doesn't belong to this forum.

Hello all!My client are thinking about use Adobe Analytics in the upcoming months. However we are currently using Mixpanel on the data collections for events and people.And we have a few concerns:- Does Adobe Analytics have an identify call similar to the other marketing tools? If so, is there a documentation I could read on? - How can i port over the data and events from Mixpanel to Adobe Analytics seamlessly, is there a way to do it now (on adobe side)? What is you guys recommendation on this?

Hi,We have recently launched a site which has ample amounts of HTML5 videos. DTM Event based rules provide lot of options to track HTML5 videos, however, I was thinking what role Adobe Media Player plays? Is this just the other way of tracking videos apart from how DTM Event based rules do? I understand, using Adobe Media Player, we can track videos provided by other video providers too, But, what if we just have HTMl5 videos. What is an ideal way to implement HTML5 Video Tracking with DTM?

Hi , Is it possible to pass a custom value into split activity .What i mean by this is : if the workflow has 100 records and split has 10%  = 10 records will be selected by default.What i want to do is , change the count value to a random value and split should be based on this random value.example : I will change the vars.recCount to 50 and the split should select only 10% of 50  = 5 records should be in output. ( even though the original vars.recCount value is 100)RegardsShiva

Hi,Can anyone explain why when you select the Enrichment activity, it gives you the option to select "Data linked to a filtering condition:"...but then when you select that option, it gives you two (2) options: 1) for "Data of the filtering dimension, and 2) for "Data linked to a filtering condition":I am guessing the the initial selection naming (see first image above, 'Data linked to a filtering condition') is just a naming convention, since the option really also contains, 'data of the filtering condition' as well.Anyone know why the naming confusion?Thanks,Jae

I would like to know how to prevent duplicate metadata writeback in AEM images whenever the image metadata is modified in jcr node

I am trying to log the fallout data of an application process using Report Builder in Microsoft Excel. Currently, there is no option for me to add a dimension to my data (I am trying to sort the steps in the fallout data by device type), and likewise when I attempt to run a report on my device type data there is no option to add page fallout as a dimension. If anyone knows a way around this that would be extremely helpful, as I have been stuck on this for quite some time now.

Is there a location in Marketo to see all the current action flow process running on your account? I was running a action flow to delete some leads and the browser timed out. Do I need to restart the deletion process?Cheers,Erik

Hey there, I have been playing around with the gcc minifier in the Adobe Granite HTML Library Manager settings and it looks great and a big improvement over YUI. One question though. Is it safe to use across the board (i.e. set in OSGi config?) or is it a better idea to apply gcc minification to client libraries I have inserted (i.e. by using the jsProcessor property on the cq:ClientLibraryFolder node).Thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a project using AEM 6.2 touch ui components.Background:In Rich Text Editor, when the author adds anchor links and tries to link some text to the anchor, the author needs to remember what the anchor name is and types it.So we got a request from our client to display the list of the anchor names in the RTE. We couldn't find anything like this function in AEM documentations.Question:Is there a way to customize the Rich Text Editor to display the anchor names list maybe in hyperlink target window or somewhere in the RTE? Has anyone worked around anything similar? Any suggestions and advice will be appreciated!Thanks!

What is the best process to set-up replication agents for multi domain set up on AEM.We have one author, 2 publishers and 2 dispatchers. 1-1 mapping between dispatcher and publisher.  Content is restricted at dispatcher level through each dispatcher configuration (virtual hosts entry). This configuration set up would be for external users who would access dispatcher and publisher. We would need to set up 2 different replication agents - replicating content of each domain independently for each publisher.Eg: Domain A and Domain B - Agent A1/A2 should be able to replicate content for Domain A only from author to pub1/pub2                                                Agent B1/B2 should be able replicate content for Domain B only from author to pub1/pub2.

Do I still need to setup Visitor ID Service mentioned in the link above? Will all the steps still apply in the above article, given the fact that we have DTM?Thanks!
