I have come across the use of inheritedValueMap recently and is fitting well for one of our scenario. Wanted to check impact of its usage. Scenario is site config properties are stored under /content/general/mysite1 and /content/general/group/mygroupsite1. Since there are 2 different levels I need to know what is the ROOT LEVEL (which is 2 in first case and 3 in second case). Since this is used in navigation component,  for each page hit I will need to check if the site config properties are stored at level 2 or 3.Rather than branching out whether level 2 has the site config property or not, and if not then look for level 3 for the properties, I am thinking to use InheritedValueMap which gives the property value searching from child page to the parent page until it finds it. However I am not finding much documentation around its performance (I believe it is kind of recursive call to parent until there is a match). Greetings AEM humans,I am trying to test caching on Dispatcher 4.2.2 using the Apache Dispatcher module 2.2.This guide:Configuring Dispatcher - docs.adobe.com Recommends sending the header "X-Dispatcher-Info" to the dispatcher, so that it will return the response header "X-Cache-Info" with the cache info about the page from dispatcher, but we can't get that to work!Does anyone have any idea how we can get the dispatcher to return the cache info using this header? All New Core Components in 6.3 have design dialog but these dialogs can only be used in Editable Templates using Policy. If I don't include the specific component in the template but allow that component to be used in the template later on, there is no way to configure the Policy on that component. Is my understanding correct?I haven't been able to find out a way to configure policy of the component without using in the template. i.e. If the component is directly included in the page, there is no possibility to change the policy of that component.  Correct?TIA

I'm trying to setup a new custom object that would link to our lead/contacts on first and last name. Our lead/contacts all have first name and last name fields. But when trying to setup the link field, I can't seem to find those two fields in the list.Steps to reproduce:Create new custom objectCreate new fieldSet data type: linkSet link object: leadLook under link field for first/Last name.Are there restrictions to link fields or am I missing something to allow links on first and last name? Unfortunately linking on email address isn't an option here.

Looking through some of the previous posts and I'm a little confused.If we turn on https for our site, will munchkin function ok? Also, from other posts - it sounds like marketo landing pages will need a special certification. But what about wordpress pages with embedded marketo forms? Any insight is appreciated thank you.

About a month after we implemented DTM, we noticed in Site Catalyst that Referrer Types were not being captured. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, could you share how you fixed the issue? We are flummoxed and are unable to figure out a way to get it working again. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I submitted a bulk API request for retrieving activities 2 days ago. However the status is stuck in "Queued". What should I expect in terms of the processing time, e.g. when it will move from "Queued" to "Processing" and how long the processing itself will take?Here is a sample curl. I know you can grab iFrame code for forms as a light box or embed on external pages, but the dimensions are limiting. Can you manipulate the form to meet various dimension needs and place as a banner like this example?

Hi ,I tried to activate a page/asset using workflow process step , if the publisher is not available the default behavior of aem is ,page/asset should move to replication queue.Currently page/assets are moving to replication queue ,but in the site admin it is showing as published(green) which is actually not published.Please refer the screen shots :I used replicator.replicate(session, ReplicationActionType.ACTIVATE, path, opts) to replicate. We have a recurring (daily, M-F) email for our subscribers that has custom recommendations that are populated by a company called Certona and presented as images in the email. The email itself works great, but I'm having some issues with email performance reports.So that we would be able to look at a week's reporting as a whole I have set this up as a Monday email, a Tuesday email, etc, each with their own respective smart campaign for sending. Then I set up an email performance report to report on the past week Sunday-Saturday since we have some Monday sends that start on Sunday due to time zones. Week one our reporting worked fine and showed all of the emails that were sent. Week two, however, the actual send numbers are similar (confirmed in the email send campaigns) but the email performance report is only displaying about 2% of the total recipients -- which I'm thinking are our new people who are receiving the report this week.I've looked through all of the settings of the report,

I want to move some of the custom components in AEM to new folder structure. Move option in crx/de is allowing me to change the folder structure but the component references (sling:resourceType) in the content are not getting changed.Is there any way to automate the process for changing the component references (sling:resourceType) in the entire content?

Hi All, Wondering if someone can share some knowledge. I have a program that references global emails. This program is cloned many thousands of times and is used to manage events.One of the trigger campaigns uses the following triggers/filters: Clicks link in email/member of program. I know that this combination is flawed as if a lead attends more than one event this combination will fire for all events. Im trying to think how to constrain leads from entering the flow when they click a link in a global email thats related to the program it originated from. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksMatt
