I am running some software on my site that has a SessionId available shortly after the page has loaded, however Adobe Analytics fires before this. Currently there is an integration in place but it seems that it cause my bounce rate to be modified because it uses the s.tl() function to send that eVar to Adobe. Is there a way I can post a new eVar to Adobe, after the page has loaded without it affecting my bounce rate?

Hey all,I was wondering how others test their nurture programs. I usually set up the program in our live instance, then add the filter "Email Address starts with allison+test" then pass test leads through the flow.The problem I face with testing the nurture program stream is that it acts as if the lead is actually going through the nurture. So it hits the communication limit after one cast!We don't use our Marketo sandbox because of the amount of time to set it up with our other systems. It also takes time to migrate the program over to our live instance.How do you all test your nurtures?

Hi,As .loginAdministrative(null) is deprecated in CQ 5.5 and in AEM  6.2 loginService(String,String) method is used.As in 5.5 there is no need to create service user and .loginAdministrative(null) was used,And in AEM 6.2 ,For creating group and users , it is necessary that only service user can do following operation i.e creating group and users in crx repository?Thanks

Hi,I get this error every time I include my parsys component which actually worked a while ago. In the CRX I can see a new node formed for the component in /content/mypage but when I refresh the page, I cannot the see the component again. But the node is still present in CRX. When I include the same component again, I see some duplicate nodes formed in the CRX. I also am getting my head.jsp no compiled every time I restart my server(even though I recompile my JSPs). I have to uninstall and install my foundation packages every time I start my server which is basically everyday. I really need help with this.I have attached the picture of the error when the component is included.

Hey team,I'm trying to better organize our Marketo instance. At our company, we work heavily on Sales verticals. We sell to Inside SMB, k12, Higher Education, Channel partners, etc.As expected, one of my vital tasks is to ensure it's heavily regulated that emails don't get sent to the wrong vertical. Especially the direct sales vs. partners emails. The question I have is if it would be smarter to continue doing what I have been doing and use smart lists on data in the system for a blast/nurture. OR should I make segments on these various verticals, and another on Customer / Non customer? Thanks for the help!

Hello Members, i have a cloud setup done by Adobe for AEM 6.2 and it contains several packages , it includes the hot fixes as well as several other packages. Any idea why do Adobe team install so many ? Are they really needed anywhere? i am facing an issue with one such package by name (cq-ui-touch-optimized-content-2.2.998). This is causing the change of behavior of parsys over vanilla 6.2 version.The package contains several scripts and JSP updates so was wondering what is the purpose of the package in cloud? RegardsShailesh 

I'd like to subscribe our salespeople to a daily Web Activity Report for any page (except unsubscribe). They'll want to see the URL detail, but if they don't have a Marketo account they won't be able to click through from "page views" and see this information, correct?I've thought about creating an interesting moment for "visits any web page," but I doubt our reps would go in and subscribe for each of their accounts.Anyone have thoughts as to the easiest way to accomplish this? Hi,I want to embed Instagram posts in my pages.I am pasting the embed code of instagram post in touch ui rte source mode, but upon submitting the dialog, rte is stripping the attribute "data-instgrm-captioned" which is resulting in stripping of Instagram post footer in my page. If I added any random value to the attribute for eg:"data-instgrm-captioned="1" " then the footer is displayed. Is there any way to customize the rte in order not to strip the attributes?

I would like to know any use case or any example where servlet defined by resource is a better approach then defined by path (as mentioned in some of the blogs) .  I had a use case where a custom search component was developed which would retrieve locations list from JCR repo for a give post code .So the approach we followed are , Defined a custom servlet and registered it using path ( @slingservlet ( path = "mycustomservlet") . From  The custom servlet would execute custom search services which are registered in OSGI bundle along with the custom servlet . In the servlet after the service , the result is forwarded to a jsp which would render the result in list as json output .  I include this component in one of page components and works fine  . In some blogs , it is mentioned that resolving the servlet via path is the best approach but couldn't figure out any advantages of using this one over the one we followed . Appreciate if any one can give some explana

Hi, We have developed separate component for managing header / footer. This component / template generate JSON which has header / footer markup. We have some other parties which needs this header / footer so created JSON for easy consumption. For example: { headerDiv : <div> header div here </div>footerDiv : <div> footer div here </div>css : http://path/to/cssjs : http://path/to/js } We read this JSON back and add the headerDiv / footerDiv / css / js to the AEM page. So now if we have 10K pages each time there is change in header / footer - then cache clear of all these 10K page needs to be done. This is because headerDiv & footerDiv are part of each page. So thinking to implement SSI for header / footer includes so that if header / footer changes it will start automatically reflecting on all pages. So wanted to check advantages and disavantages of SSI with this group: 1) Will there be any performance hit in page load time using SSI ? Hello,I am trying to understand if AEM can host a "static" web site that includes content authored from AEM.The static web site is an Angular SPA application. The application is similar to an intranet: most pages do not have editorial content, the navigation is static (editors do not create/move pages shown in the navigation menu) and the widgets have lots of integration with legacy back end systems. However, one part of this application, a small subset of pages, involves editorial content and we are using AEM's WCM capabilities for editing those pages.We want to use AEM just as a host for the static parts and include an iframe inside the editorial pages that includes the editorial pages created on AEM. The iframe would point to AEM publish itself in order to render the content.Why not integrating the whole site inside AEM? The reason is that the majority of the web pages do not involve any editorial content and AEM would be a useless bottleneck when it comes to integrate the HTML, JS

Hello fine humans of Marketo Nation!I'm facing a bit of a quandary with our Velocity scripting, and could use your help.Basically, my company is sending out appointment emails, which are triggered based on updates to the custom object. A customer could have multiple entries for the custom object.Here's my issue: the emails are often spitting out old information, not the newest available. The script that's in there was around before I arrived, and was apparently implemented by a 3rd party that we no longer work with. From what I can tell, it's bunk, and is operating no differently than if we just had the basic info dragged over in the token script editor. I can include it if people would find it helpful, though honestly it looks like a mess and I can't make any sense of it.My question to you: How do I get Marketo to pull the newest entry of a custom object? I had installed the we.retail package 5th Dec 2016, I see that after 60 days the date created shows a date with different characters  "Created 12월 05 2016, 11:29 오전 by Aaron McDonald" Has anyone faced/seen that?I found that it is a handle bar helper provided by AEM where we can see that the 'daysCutoff' is set to default as '60'. Other than having to create another custom helper or overlay it, is there anything that can be done to display the date properly?

Hello!To give our merchandising team a quick view of product performance at an individual product level we are trying to create a composite score that provides a single 1-5 (or similar) score for each product, based on the performance of RPV, Conversion and Exit Rate of each PDP. I see that at the Summit POPSUGAR showed how they used composite scoring in Adobe Analytics but NO WHERE online can I find a place that shows me how to create a composite score. I know what formula I would use in Excel (nested IF) but that doesn't translate to AA. Can anyone help me with tips/tricks/suggestions?Thank you!Meagan
