We have a distribution list email that has a dash in it that we use to send to and I couldn't add it as a new lead.I tried submitting it via a form and it gave me a validation error as well.However, I was able to get it into Marketo by manually creating a lead in Salesforce.What's up with that limitation?

I want to add a URL link to an image in my email. It seems easy and intuitive to do on landing pages, but I can't seem to find how to accomplish this in an email.Any tips?

Hello,I'm trying to skip the component inclusion programmatically. The idea is to have some kind of business logic on server side that before the page composition, cycles on all components included in the page and can decide based on some condition whether or not include the components. I have been studying Sling Filters with COMPONENT scope but I couldn't find a way to actually skip the component inclusion.Thanks Stefano

Hey everyone! Sorry if this has already been asked, but I've read elsewhere that there is new content for the MCE in 2017, and this content will not be added into the existing practice exam. Instead, a 3 hour preparation training before the exam will take place. I apologize if this has already been answered - wasn't quite sure how to search for it. When we upload postal codes to Marketo via CSV, the file strips leading 0's from all postal codes. Our postal codes are set up as string fields in Marketo to allow international zip codes as well. Does anyone have a way to identify 4-digit postal codes and automatically append a zero out front? I'm thinking we could probably use a webhook service to do this, but I'm hoping for an easier way.

Looking for confirmation on our understanding of activity and inactivity filters:Using an ACTIVITY filter like "Was Sent Email" and listed are 5 emails, leads would qualify if they were sent either of the 5 emails (doesn't have to be all 5) - essentially, "OR" logic is used here.Using an INACTIVITY filter like "Not Clicked Link in Email" and listed are those same 5 emails, leads would only qualify if they didn't click on ANY of the emails in the entire set.  So if a lead clicked a link in one of the 5 emails (and didn't click a link in the other 4), they would not qualify.  Again, "OR" logic is used among the 5 emails (but when used with a "NOT"/inactivity filter, it works more like an "AND" operator).I think what gets confusing here with these inactivity filters is when you look at it the opposite way (which is the wrong way): using the "OR" operator again, all it takes is one email of the five where the lead didn't click, you could say that the lead WOULD qualify.  But again, we shou

Although, to get a step further, I'd like to add an alert when an email fails delivery either in terms of rate or I could deal with an absolute number.I got half way with a smart list subscription of:- Was sent email (Any) last 1 day + Not was delivered (Any) last 1 dayDo you see any way to get this info or subscription or flow alert upon reach of this kind threshold? Hi,    I wanted to write python script in Script Activity.     As mention in document the interpreter must be installed on Server.    Since the option Python listed in script activity, does that mean python interpreter installed on server ?    And After Installing the interpreter can someone elaborate the steps how to use python scripts with data in transition.    Or any use case how to use Python Scripts in Adobe Campaign.  Thank you

I have posted this in the general discussion about sync changes but @Grégoire Michel​ suggested I start a new discussion here for maximum visibility as it could potentially affect all PE customers using Marketo.Historically, SFDC allowed Professional Edition customers to integrate with Marketo without a specific API subscription in SFDC, as they have done with a number of AppExchange products, but now appearing to be withdrawing this from Marketo. This is causing real issues with my Professional Edition customers. I have just had a worrying conversation with our SFDC account manager.  We had a note just before Christmas from our Marketo account manager telling us that we would need to purchase API access in order to continue to sync to SFDC after the end of January.  However, when speaking to the SFDC account manager, he tells me that API access for Professional Edition only allows one-way access, i.e. into SFDC, so would not allow us to sync bi-directionally.  SFDC tells me they are d

I have a question about syncing campaigns with SFDC. This applies to activities such as Seminars and Webinars.So, when I create a new program for an event such as a seminar, everyone who registers for the seminar is added as a member with the status 'Registered'. Once the seminar has taken place, I'd usually run an update so people who attended are changed to 'Attended'.What are the options now if I want to sync this campaign with Salesforce, but only sync members who actually attended? If I simply turn on the sync, everyone gets sent to Salesforce. I know I can set up a smart list or smart campaign to choose who to sync, but then the event won't appear in Salesforce Campaigns. The other option, of course, is to remove people who registered for the event but didn't attend, then turn on the Campaign sync. But I'd rather not do this as I want everyone to remain as members of the program, regardless of whether or not they attended.Any thoughts?

Our company together with AMS is planning to upgrade our AEM version from 6.1 to 6.3, do you have any checklist/steps on how we do the migration of our sites from 6.1 to 6.3 like what needs to be test. I have these in mind though, connectivity testing (for the new instances), functionality testing of the applications (more of regression), aside from these, what other things that we need to look at?Thanks for all your help.

We're trying to test a new navigation. In order to do this, we serve both navs and then using Target, we add a script to the test variant that hides the old nav and shows the new one. It's three lines of JS. However, we've experienced both a flicker and it will go back and forth from test to control for the same visitor. Adobe told me to just do it through Visual Editor, but that would frankly be a lot of work. Anyone have any good workarounds?
