I have posted this in the general discussion about sync changes but @Grégoire Michel​ suggested I start a new discussion here for maximum visibility as it could potentially affect all PE customers using Marketo.Historically, SFDC allowed Professional Edition customers to integrate with Marketo without a specific API subscription in SFDC, as they have done with a number of AppExchange products, but now appearing to be withdrawing this from Marketo. This is causing real issues with my Professional Edition customers. I have just had a worrying conversation with our SFDC account manager.  We had a note just before Christmas from our Marketo account manager telling us that we would need to purchase API access in order to continue to sync to SFDC after the end of January.  However, when speaking to the SFDC account manager, he tells me that API access for Professional Edition only allows one-way access, i.e. into SFDC, so would not allow us to sync bi-directionally.  SFDC tells me they are d

I have a question about syncing campaigns with SFDC. This applies to activities such as Seminars and Webinars.So, when I create a new program for an event such as a seminar, everyone who registers for the seminar is added as a member with the status 'Registered'. Once the seminar has taken place, I'd usually run an update so people who attended are changed to 'Attended'.What are the options now if I want to sync this campaign with Salesforce, but only sync members who actually attended? If I simply turn on the sync, everyone gets sent to Salesforce. I know I can set up a smart list or smart campaign to choose who to sync, but then the event won't appear in Salesforce Campaigns. The other option, of course, is to remove people who registered for the event but didn't attend, then turn on the Campaign sync. But I'd rather not do this as I want everyone to remain as members of the program, regardless of whether or not they attended.Any thoughts?

Does anyone know a way I can search all of my leads' activity at once? Maybe just leads who are members of a program?

Hi, I am trying to implement DTM video tracking code in our website. We are using Flowplayer to play videos in our website. I searched in forms to see any way of implementing code to track Flowplayer video, but only got info that it doesn't have any out of the box functionality to track videos provided by other video providers (Brightcove, Youtube, Vimeo, VideoJS, Flowplayer, etc.) Can any one tell how to implement the DTM code to track video which is using Flowplayer?ThanksVeer

Our company together with AMS is planning to upgrade our AEM version from 6.1 to 6.3, do you have any checklist/steps on how we do the migration of our sites from 6.1 to 6.3 like what needs to be test. I have these in mind though, connectivity testing (for the new instances), functionality testing of the applications (more of regression), aside from these, what other things that we need to look at?Thanks for all your help.

We're trying to test a new navigation. In order to do this, we serve both navs and then using Target, we add a script to the test variant that hides the old nav and shows the new one. It's three lines of JS. However, we've experienced both a flicker and it will go back and forth from test to control for the same visitor. Adobe told me to just do it through Visual Editor, but that would frankly be a lot of work. Anyone have any good workarounds?

Hello Marketo Nation!We are planning to create leads using the REST API. We have a custom built form (using our branding guidelines) and we will be creating the lead from the data from our form.We want to distinguish our leads depending on which form that the user filled out. Is there a default Field in Leads that we can store a Marketo Web Form ID? Or is there another field that we can use in order to distinguish which form the lead came from?Currently we are loading a blank Marketo Web Form and pushing the data via the Forms API, however we want to do the push server-side using the REST API.Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I am experiencing an issue when replicating a package from Author to Publish.When content is package and replicated, items in \Content\Dam are not invalidated on the dispatcher and a manual cache clear needs to be performed. (Specifically PDF files)I contacted Adobe about this, and their response is that this is working as designed. This is something that should be fixed as it makes it very difficult to implement changes through package creation and replication.How do I go about getting Adobe to fix this flaw?Thank youJohn Pedrick

I'm manually creating vanity URLs on assets by setting the sling:vanityPath parameter under the asset's content node. This works fine for pages, and initially is working great for dam assets, but after rebooting the assets are no longer available under the vanity URLs and return a 404. Is there some other place I need to configure them?

We never had problems uploading lists with special characters in the past, but today all leads I upload with special characters such as é è ç à ï ä all appear as � � � � �. My file format is CSV and UTF-8, so I don't understand why this is happening. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Being able to dynamically set a cookie value based on an element's value seems like a no-brainer as you can inject it into s.products but I see no documentation and my attempts have failed.Example of what seems overly simplistic, but at least to me, should work;     _satellite.setCookie('source','ELEMENT VALUE',1);

I use DTM to manage a large number of web sites (+1,000). I have about 100 that i want to use DTM to deploy a piece of JS to. I want to create a rule that is triggered for only those 100 sites. Is there a way I can use classifications to trigger that rule?Failing that, is there another way to do this without having to create 100 separate rules?Thanks very much.

Hi Marketo Community,I'm fairly new to Marketo so an answer to this question would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to set up an engagement program which will pull new leads into a smart list/nurture stream only after 14 days from when the lead is created. I know using the Filter 'Lead was Created' with condition 'After' can do this, but the only option is by a specific date, not by days/months etc. Is there another filter/condition I can use or am I missing something here?Thanks!

I took the beta certification exam in December 2016 before the 12/31/16 deadline and have still not received results for this exam. The release date has been pushed twice, most recently to the 1st of March, and they are already advertising the new exam.I can't get in touch with anyone regarding this matter. I'm trying to get final approvals for Summit expenses, which may or may not need to include the certification exam.

I am pulling a pages report to filter to only pages with category in their name. Our website catalog pages all start with that structure after the domain name. When I pull a pages report, I also see the URL structure after the domain and full URL entries in the report. I have an screenshot from the debugger showing the page name that is set up but in the report I also get key metrics on the following entries below. PV, Visits and Uniques are lower on the other entries than the real page name but when I sum them all, it is a noticeable number missing. As an example in the Pages Report - lines 11, 13, 22 are correctly labeled. Lines 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, are examples of the data after the domain being passed and lines 24 and 25 are examples of the full URL being listed.  Why is this happening? Should there not only be one entry for each page (with the defined page name)? It is very difficult for me to get an idea of how our catalog pages are doing if I don't have data aggre

I created a data element with the below custom code and have it firing on a pageload rule (bottom of page but also same results with top of page) in DTM. Everything looks good except I get a few instances of my strings I am passing but randomly truncated. (see image below).
