Hi, We have recently moved on from AEM 6.0 to AEM 6.2. We can see that in the DAM Asset Update workflow, a step has been added to the workflow to create the subassets of a particular DAM asset. For PDF and PPT, we can see that there are sub assets created for each page/slide of the asset with primary type as dam:Asset. It appears similar to http://help-forums.adobe.com/content/usergenerated/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manager/_jcr_content/forum/5_ciot/tg7e-hello_all_ihave/1_tosp/1xlq-_smacdonald2008wro/attachments/pdf.png. I can see that the subassets creation was present in earlier CQ versions as well, but the definition of subasset has changedCQ 5.2+ - https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/HowToRemoveSubAssetGenerationFromDAMWorkflow.html. This mentions that the workflow only creates renditions and metadata of the asset. Hi all,Recently I got invitation to use Google's new tool Google Optimize. I have been trying to add it using Adobe's DTM using Google Universal Analytics tool and adding the container tag using "Customize Page Code" option. The Optimize libraries are being called, however I am seeing following error in the page console itself:"Refused to execute script from 'https://optimize.google.com/optimize/inject/inject.js........ because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled."Just wondering anyone out there has been able to successfully inject Google Optimize using Adobe's DTM?Umang

Hi all,I record very specific events into Custom Objects linked to Leads. For example if a user has clicked on a specific link that I'd like to track, I'll create a Custom Object out of that event and this CO will include extra data than the one that Marketo holds in the Activity Log. (which is why I create a CO instead of using the Activity Log)I'd like to be able to target COs that have specific properties based on the data that is in their fields, for example:- Has CO- dateTime is in timeframe Yesterday- partnerURL is not emptyIf I create a Smart List with this criteria and it generates a list of leads that are linked to COs that match this criteria. Then I send an email each day with a personalized message and the partnerURL link so that the user can click on it. To do this I fetch the size of the CO and then retrieve the last CO created for that user.Except in some cases I have recorded multiple COs on the same day for a same user and only one of the COs really matches the criteri

My company just started using SFDC this year. We've always targeted accounts, not leads so the leads and contacts definitions have been extremely difficult to get used to. Therefore, we are transitioning everyone to accounts & contacts. I'm concerned how this may affect the Marketo and Salesforce system. If you have any insights or know of any unintentional effects that this process may cause, I'd appreciate your sharing them with me.

I'm using Google's page speed insights tool to improve my landing page performance, and one of the top things it recommends is to "enable browser caching" for several of my assets hosted inside my Marketo instance (images, css files, etc). They provide this article to explain what they're talking about, but it looks like the patch needs to be applied server-side. Is there a way to enable this in Marketo? Will I just need to take the hit on their page speed rating (which directly impacts our SEO), or should I move these assets to another server that does allow caching?Thanks!

Hey guys.I have a new issue today for which I really need your help.We have a website developed using AEM 6.1 API and deployed in 6.1. Our website has some Java backend. One piece of our java code used the Externalizer class from AEM (com.day.cq.commons). Nothing rocket science so far.Then we had to deploy everything on AEM 6.2. Now on 6.2 that piece of code is not working anymore. AEM returns this exception out of the blue:… Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/day/cq/commons/Externalizer …(cannot post full stacktrace as we have confidential stuff)So the question is, why may that happen ?My first thought was that maybe something may have changed to the class loader on 6.2. So I dunno if I am on a totally wrong path, but I have compared the Dynamic Class Loader on both AEM versions. Again, maybe I looking in the wrong place, but I definitely think that error has something to do with class loading policies. So, what I saw is that on 6.1 the Dynamic Class Loader is implemented

I wanted to share a component with the community as they help me so much already. I made a responsive sighlty column component based on bootstraps 12 grid that is easily extendable.I found this one in the helpx and almost had a heart attack when I seen they just toggled entire div structures.I looked into the acs-commons column control and it was not easy to control the CSS break points, This also had too many variable to account for with our authors.So I created a component that take a csv and parses the css classes to determine the number of parsys' to render and how to render them. This will also maintain your authors content if they change the layout. I created this ColumnControl for the community to use and modify as needed.

Most of the people that become members of our EPs are due to prior behavior that relate to the content within a specific EP.  What we would like to do is prevent people - who haven't shown any engagement over a specific period of time/casts - from receiving future casts.  Aside from creating custom score fields (each time someone engages) that would allow us to trigger off whether or not a value exists, are any of you doing this today using creative filtering techniques?  And yes, we do use child programs within our EPs (vs. just simple emails) so that we can include smart list criteria to ensure a lead is qualified to receive a specific cast.  But we need to be careful here due to this limitation: If a lead doesn't qualify for an Engagement Program cast, does it proceed to the next email?I suppose one tactic would be to create additional streams that contain the longer-term content.  And people transition from one stream to the next as they show engagement.&nb

I am trying to understand the difference between these two fields in our Marketo instance: Site and Website both exist as separate fields in our Company Info breakdown of a lead record. See attachment for a visual reference.I am documenting all of our fields in Marketo to help us prevent unintentional duplicate fields as well as to get a handle on all of the existing fields. Initially, I thought one of these fields was created when I imported a program into our instance (from the Marketo Program Library or similar), but both fields are not referenced by any program and have never been used (yet).

I have tried to install AEM forms multiple times, and keep getting stuck on deploying the EARs. It is my understanding that we have to do this through the JBOSS web interface because I am using the cluster configuration. Any suggestions on this?

Several suppliers offer the ability to put real-time user generated content into email - for example, the latest Instagram posts from a particular user. Is this possible through email scripting using the import.read functionality, or does Marketo block calls except to specific IPs?Instagram has an API, so I think we could get that info through a webhook before any email is sent....but I'd like to do it through scripting if possible, it's cleaner. Hey Marketo Nation!We have a HTML form (with our branding guidelines) that we submit via JavaScript using the Forms API.We have two Fields we created called 'Relocation' and 'UScitizen' that are of type Boolean.I add the values to the form using .addHiddenField() method of the Forms API, but I can't get to persist our Boolean Fields (Relocation and UScitizen).What value do Boolean type Fields accept? We've tried "yes, no", "Yes, No", "true, false", "True, False", true, false (JavaScript boolean values instead of strings).Thanks in advance!
