Hi everyone!I'm starting to add email scripts in my emails and I'm looking for a guide for beginners, if this exists somewhere. I understand that Velocity is based on Java and that a Java guide could maybe help as well.I'm trying to display text based on the Postal Code's first character:#if(${lead.PostalCode}.substring(0, 0) == "H")  #set($city = "Montreal")#elseif(${lead.PostalCode}.substring(0, 0) == "M")  #set($city = "Toronto")#else  #set($city = "your awesome city")#end${city}This is raising an error, so I'm guessing the substring shouldn't be used this way. Hello Community,I am using the "activity is updated" trigger for a couple scenarios:1. Activity is Updated     Due Date: in past X daysWill this trigger successfully once the activity due date has passed? For example, the activity due date is 2/9/2017, so once the calendar date is 2/10/2017 and the activity due date is now "in past 1 day", will this "due date" update register as the activity being updated?2. Activity is UpdatedWill this trigger successfully if the activity is deleted altogether? Does the deletion register as the activity being updated?Thanks,Devraj

I have a number of nested campaigns in engagement programs that send emails. Yesterday, I changed out some of the email templates and so when I deleted the previous versions of the emails, I lost the email reporting data from the prior sends. Ugh! Can we recover the deleted emails so that I can have the reporting data back? Or is there a report that I am not seeing that will pull this information? I did not remove the nested program from the stream, so I can see how many were sent in the last cast, and how many belong to the program, but I can't find a way to pull the email stats.Why are we only warned if an email is in use before we can delete it? We should also be warned that there are stats associated with it and will be lost if we delete. Does anyone know if there's a current idea about this out there?

Hi,I am working with adobe campaign and I wanted to know if we can fetch data segments from adobe audience manager to adobe campaign . If it is possible , please suggest the steps / methodology required to estalblish this data flow. Additionally there is a People core service called Profiles and audience   in Adobe Marketing Cloud , Is there a possibility of consuming this audience in adobe campaign for re targeting .Please provide any inputs on how is this can be achieved.ThanksSenthil

Hi , I have a requirement where on page load i need to capture some  information , i have captured info for all fields , except 1 field , this data is not availlable on page load ,since api takes some time to bring data from database , now once the page is loaded i can access this info , but by now variable is evaluated  and in DTM we have logged as NULL , how can this be achieved on Page load rule .Can i make it to wait until i get api response ,can i update the page load rules data later after page loads ,currently my rule is executing at bottom of page and still  not capturing value , guess by then data from API is not there  Thanks

Hi,i am trying to integrate LDAP with CQ5.6.1.I have created users in LDAP server but when i am trying to synchronize the users between AEM and LDAP,the users are not getting synced up. But when the same user with the same details are being created in AEM, then it gets synced properly.Am i doing it correctly or is there any other way of syncing users between LDAP and AEM?

Hello all,I have an Excel 2013 workbook that has two Report Builder requests.  Request B (a Page Path report) is dependent on Request A.  Request A references data entered by the user.  If the user enters bad data (a non-existent URL path) then Request A returns no data and Request B fails with "Pathing patter filter cannot be empty".I am trying to give the user a more friendly error, since I know what most likely caused the error, i.e. the aforementioned bad URL string.  I have added error handling just to see what I can get, but the code is apparently ignored.On Error GoTo ErrorHandler....Exit SubErrorHandler:    MsgBox ("Error number: " & Str(Err.Number) & vbNewLine & _           "Source: " & Err.Source & vbNewLine & _           "Description: " & Err.Description)End SubAny ideas of how to capture and overwrite the built in error message?Thanks,Kathryn

Okay, so a partner of ours has a PDF hosted on their website. The direct link they provided, when clicked on or entered in the browser, prompts the browser to automatically start downloading the PDF.I inserted the direct link into MKTO and clicked on it in the email preview, it worked fine.I then sent myself a test, but this time when I click the direct PDF link I get sent to a "page not found". I think it's because MKTO uses a redirect link or something, so instead of being able to directly download the file the user is being sent to a dead page.Unfortunately, our partner (as of now) won't let us host the file directly in MKTO, so that's isn't a solution.I tried unchecking the "track this link in mkto" option but that didn't do anything.Anyone know any workarounds on how to make this work? Our backup solution is sending the user to another LP on our domain with a direct link to the PDF file, but we would rather the link be in the email if possible.

I've recently come into a different instance of Marketo. We're looking to rename the api users and associate them with different emails. Is there anyway around the "You cannot edit an API user that is being used in API service". Has anyone ever deactivated the the API service to rename? If so, are there best practices around this. (Ex. Do it late at night on Saturday.)Thank You! Amanda

I created a script that identifies if a visitor's browser is using adblocker. I added the script to the page load rule (top of page) and it works and returns a console.log for the return statement. However, how would I capture the return statement in a data element? I've had my Marketo instance for a few years now, but we are beginning a SFDC implementation. Our previous (current) CRM is not compatible with Marketo, so having Sales Insight was not necessary.We are planning on linking Marketo to SFDC, but we're trying to figure out what the downside of not having MSI - as that is a cost we hadn't budgeted for (of course).I've found information on what MSI can do for us, but what I'm struggling to find is information on what we can do when we connecting the two - without MSI...Thanks!

We are using Adobe CQ (5.6.1) . We need to do load testing and wanted  use JMeter (2.11)  for this. As CQ Author instance requires authentication for all pages we are facing the challenge to  find the way to set the authentication for CQ in JMeter. Please provide the details  to set the authentication in JMeter.
