Hello everyone,i was asking myself if there are different ways to implement mandatory fields, for example to prevent a user to save a recipient without a name. All I currently know is the way of using the required attribute.Is there any other way of implementing mandatory fields?Best regards,Alex

Hi,we want users of a specific group to be able to upload, modify and replicate assets in a specific folder in the DAM, but they shall not be able to delete assets from the folder. Therefore we assigned "Read", "Modify", "Create" and "Replicate" permissions to the folder but omitted the "Delete" permission. Problem: When the user uploads an asset the "Modify" permission is not inherited from the folder to the asset, so that the user cannot edit the assets properties (e.g. the title), see screenshot. We always have to assign the "Modify" permission manually to the asset afterwards (which is not an option). If we assign "Modify" AND "Delete" permissions to the folder they are both inherited to the asset. My question: Why is the "Modify" permission not inherited and what can we do to achieve that without assign the "Delete" permission also? Any help is greatly appreciated.Environment: CQ 5.6.1, SP 2Thanks, Volker

Hi All,We have implemented reports using AEM in built framework,we are able to run the utility without any issue in author instance but when we try to run from publish we are getting 403 Forbidden Error.I have performed below work-around to run the report but still getting same error.1. Logged in as admin and have run the report2.Removed POST method from Apache Sling Referrer Filter configuration and have run the report.If anyone has come across the same issue,please help me in this regard.Thanks,Kishore

(I need to exclude that type of visitors) (no doubt that they exist when observing the journeys).So first question : Is there a way to precisely track the "New Visitors" excluding returning visitors that delete the cookies.Secondly, I want to track their journey.I'm using différents Tools to do so.1 : Reports>Path>Site section>Full Path : the best tool I found, but limited to visits with less than 8 pages viewed. Hello All,I am working on an AEM 6.1 project which requires me to add an additional input field (recipients field) to the "Start Workflow" dialog in the Page Editor (Touch UI) as shown below. As such, I have created an overlay of the startworkflow.jsp file which defines this dialog box. The overlay is functional, however, I was wondering if it is possible to move the "cq/gui/components/authoring/workflow/startworkflow/startworkflow.jsp" node structure into the "/apps/my-project" folder and still have the overlay work. My current overlay implementation is okay in my local environment, but in the production environment, I can only make edits/push inside the "/apps/my-project" folder. As a note, the additional dialog field should only appear when starting a workflow on a page under "/content/my-project", so being unable to display this extra field outside of the "my-project" hierarchy is not an issue.With this in mind, is an overlay approach still feasible? Hi Everyone,I have created an Adaptive Form in AEM 6.2, there I have written some scripts under Rule Edit. After some days when I am trying to open Rule Editor of the same Adaptive form I am unable to open it. Steps I've done:    1. Open adaptive form in edit mode.    2.    Clicked on a fragment where I want to modify java script.    3.  The dialog does open but when clicked on Script tag and nothing happens.Can anyone please guide me why I am not able to view rule editor on clicking Script Rule Editor option. Thank you in advance!

We changed account owners in SF for certain accounts but the sales owner fields in Marketo keep showing the old account owner. How can I fix this?

If I select any text in an input, AdHoc will instantly freeze and then I have to force-close it. I have everything up-to-date and I use a mac. My coworker has the same exact issue!Has anyone else out there had this same issue?

Hello all,We have based our various email list subscription forms on the standard serviceSubLandingPage webApp template.Functionally it now works fine (thanks to this forum!).We styled the form fields in the webapp itself, but we cannot figure out how to override the CSS to get the page width down to 600px, so that it renders in a better way on mobile devices.We made a new form rendering document, based on the out of box Landing pages form rendering document.We can see that it references /nl/crmLandingPage.css, and we want to override the .page selector with a width of 600px.Pretty simple, yes? But when we do this, nothing happens.From what I've seen in the documentation I can override the styles this way.I've even copied the entire contents of /nl/crmLandingPage.css into my new Landing Pages form document and deleted the reference to /nl/crmLandingPage.css, and modified the styles there and still no change......am I missing something?Adobe Campaign Premium 6.1.1 8705Any help or tips a

Hey guys,I have a quick question regarding the wait step. I have a smart campaign I am needing to run. An email is needed to be sent out after two days of waiting after a specific action. However, if one of a couple things happen in that time, I need the email to NOT be sent out. Is there a way to cancel the trigger? Hope that makes sense.

Hi all - I came across this old Neolane slide (see attached) that has a screenshot of a Salesforce lead record, at the bottom of which is a link to a pop-up window that displays marketing history for that lead (I assume the lead was originally sent from Adobe Campaign via CRM connector). Does anyone know if this capability still exists? I can't seem to find any documentation on it.Thanks,Sonny

Hello,I have an AEM instance that uses Day-Servlet-Engine/4.1.52 (CQSE) and I would like to customize the JSESSIONID cookie.Currently CQSE sets the JSESSIONID like this:Set-Cookie:JSESSIONID=00000000-000000000-0000-000000000000; Path=/; HttpOnlyso the domain of the cookie is set to the current domain by the browser, ex. www.example.com.However I would like to set the domain to .example.com, so the cookie would be available to all sub-domains of the example.com.It looks like the solution would be to switch the CQSE servlet containter to another one that supports configuration of cookies, like newer versions of tomcat (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/82645/best-way-for-allowing-subdomain-session-cookies-using-tomcat).When I tried to send 2 cookies with the help of a filter, one to override the existing JSESSIONID and another one which is the same JSESSIONID with the desired domain, the servlet engine adds the third JSESSIONID cookie, and the response headers look like this:Set-Cookie:

Hi all,A sales rep at my company has been using the Marketo Sales Insights plugin to track emails to and from prospects/customers. He noticed recently with a few different individuals that whenever he opens an email that he sent to those prospects, Marketo is tracking that as an "Opened" activity within the Marketo Sales Insights widget in SFDC under those leads/contacts. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there a way to correct it? I'd hate for him to have incorrect open/sent stats due to this incorrect tracking.Thanks!

I'm a marketing analyst and I'm new to Marketo. I'm trying to download a report with email results. I see that there's a report that has the basic stats (delivered, opened, etc), but there's no send date available in the report (first activity date is not the same thing). In addition, I'd like to be able to pull reports that tell me what folder the email was in, whether it was a test or not, and if it was a test, what it was tested on (if a subject line, what the results of the two subject lines were). I don't want to go into each email individually to gather results. Thank you!

Hi,Using AEM 6.2.I've seen in the docs discussions about versions available in the JCR, being able to switch to previous versions, etc.Is there any formal version management environment? (like perforce for example, or anywhere close to that)I'm assuming we need to manage this by creating packages daily, and documenting what the package contains, etc. Just wondering if there's a better way than this.Joel

Hi all,We are struggling with understanding the funnel reports of our checkout process. Our situation is as follows:- There are 4 steps in the funnel (4th = thank you page).- On the first step visititors decide which of our fews products they want to buy, i.e. on the second step Adobe Analytics "knows" the product. It's saved in evar44.- In order to look at the funnel by product, we use evar44 as a filter. See attached screenshot.- Events are searialized by user id.My question: How is the number of visits calculated then? One would expect that the number of visits equals "all visits that LATER got assigned evar44={name of product}."But that doesn't seem to be the case. The number of visits is obviously too low. There can't be more view of step 1 than visits.Thanks for your help!Julian

Hello Marketo Friends!We have been asked to start sending client satisfaction surveys via Marketo.  Most of our surveys are triggered from Salesforce Cases, which we don’t sync with Marketo today. Other surveys are triggered from an AppExchange app called Cloud Coach. Does anyone sync Salesforce Cases with Marketo? Any best practices or watch-outs? For example, I’m curious if this will slow down our SFDC to Marketo sync process, since we create 3,000 cases every day. Brian Vass​
