Hi - I am new to AEM CMS development.I am working on a POC for automated content migration from one template to the other. Wanted to know if its possible in AEM . My naive approach when I heard about this POC was to create the content as components ( say with the required styling ) and just call the content component from the required components . Please correct me if I am wrong or if there is a better approach . Thank you .

I have gone through the documentation in below url about Global objects in HTL:https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/htl/docs/global-objects.html. I need to change the below existing code in JSP to Sightly(HTL):<% if (WCMMode.fromRequest(request) == WCMMode.EDIT){            %><img src="/libs/cq/ui/resources/0.gif" class="cq-carousel-placeholder" alt=""><%        }%>I want to access the wcmmode and the request object directly in sightly without using the Java class. However I am facing issues in doing that. Could someone provide me the way(syntax) to access the objects directly in HTL ?Thanks.

Anyone else having trouble getting through to support via phone?The automated system didn't recognize the phone number attached to my account.Once the phone number was confirmed, I went straight to a voicemail (I think that was the random beep I heard).This time I got placed in the hold queue, then the automated system hung up on me. Finally got placed in the queue to speak with support team!

Just detected a strange behavior linked to the mktoModuleScope variable setting.If one sets it to false, the module can be moved up and down in the template, as one can see in the screenshot below, where the variable is global, the "move up" and "move down" menus are available:But if you set it to "True", the module can no longer be moved up or down, and the 2 menu entries are greyed:The 2 templates I used are totally identical, excepted for the mktoModuleScope setting.@Justin Cooperman​, is this expected (in which case it is not documented) or is it a bug?-Greg

Hey everyone,We recently noticed that the DTM tag doesn't fire when a user makes the first visit to our site. The tag would fire though once they go to a different page. The same issue has been happening across all browsers and pages. Anyone had similar issues and any tips on identifying the source of the problem?Thanks

So I have a page load rule that fires for our career operations page and populates evar43 and event43.. I also put an event rule on a CTA button on the career operations page, the button is called "job openings" The event rule fires if the button is clicked and populates event44. However the problem is, that when the job opening button is clicked not only is the job listing page opened in new tab, but it also refreshes/reloads the career operations page cause the page load rule to fire again. Obviously this inflates the true count for Career operations page. So I need a custom script to add to the page load rule that basically says do not fire if already on the career operations page.  Any suggestions because I have not idea how I should do this. Oh by the way I am using DTM.Thank you Darius Dempsey 

We are using program opportunity analysis reports in RCE to calculate FT/MT reporting. Because RCE does not allow for boolean filter logic, we built a new custom field in Salesforce (populated by a workflow) to align our reports.When I synced the new field into RCA last week, I noticed that although our total opportunity count and amount matched up between Marketo and Salesforce, when adding a filter with the new field, the opportunity count/revenue was MUCH lower than what we were seeing in Salesforce with the same filter applied. Since then, I've noticed that the report is slowly catching up to the numbers in Salesforce each day. However, it's now been over a week and the RCA reports with this field filter are showing just about half of what is in Salesforce.My understanding is that there is a nightly sync between Salesforce and RCA, which I assumed meant that all the data would be refreshed fully, but now I'm questioning it.Has anyone noticed sync delays into RCA for opportunity fie

Reviewing the MKTO product docs, I see that MKTO recommends building smart lists and using Special--> Change Revenue Stage action. See at Approving Stages and Assigning Leads to a Revenue Model - Marketo Docs - Product Docs I have done this thru building batch (retroactive) campaigns and assigning leads to the correct revenue stages. I don't believe there is an advantage that one has over the other, but wanted to see if I am missing anything. Thank you.

Hi -I am attempting to use a publishing widget to bring some metrics to our analytics group on our Company's Intranet.I've successfully generated the publishing widget code and it all displays correctly in preview. However, when I attempt to embed the code on both the intranet site (hosted by Jive software) and on our company's production website I get the following error displayed.Anyone have any ideas on how to get this resolved? Am I missing a step or perhaps something needs to be enabled on the back-end by an Adobe engineer?FYI, I've selected the "Most Popular Pages" report, and set the Destination to "Anywhere" and used the small widget codeHaving this work would be a big win for my team. Hello All!I am interested to here how everyone else out there is using Marketo Programs (Engagement, Default, Email), what you define them as, and what you believe the best practices are.  The reason I am asking the community this is because it seems like there is no standard and people use them in all different ways.Questions:1. What are the definitions of each one of these program types? 2. What are each one of these programs meant for and what is there use?3. What are the definitions differences of an Email Blast, Drip Campaign, and Nurture Campaign and what corresponding Marketo program types do you use for each one of these.  4. Marketo talks about a Drip Nurture Campaign/Program.  Am I going crazy or does this not make sense because aren't Drip Campaigns different than Nurture Campaigns or are they saying you have both Drip Campaigns and Nurture Campaigns working together in one program, an Engagement Program?  I did my research and find that everyone defines Drips and Nurtures d

A colleague has asked if it's possible for us to include expandable/collapsible sections within an email built and sent with Marketo (i.e. only a heading would immediately appear, and the user could click to expand to see the full text).Obviously, this is a fairly simple task on a webpage, but I've not seen it done in email. Hi All, I am trying to find if the visitors viewing 1st campaign (pages X and Y) also visited the next campaign ((page A and B) for the same business line. For this, I am creating a visitor level segment and putting the following condition :Main Bucket - Visitor     Bucket 1 (Visit level) : Page Name = X or Page Name = Y           THEN WITHIN 5 MONTHS     Bucket 2 (Visit Level) : Page Name = A or Page Name = B This segment should give me 0 visitors for the date range when 1st campaign was running as 2nd campaign has not been launched and hence visitors cannot visit the same. But I see visitors in the entire date range. Can you please help me understand the reason for the same ? Thanks

Hi, hope someone can help me with this.In total I built four projects. In two of these projects the PDF download works just fine. In the other two I receive the error message:"ERROR An error has occurred with the download process. Please try again later."Now the interesting thing in the two non-working projects is that when I decide to "Show Data Source" for one particular visualization, the export works fine. If I decide to keep this particular data source table hidden, it won't let me export the PDF. Unfortunately, the data source table doesn't provide any benefit to be shown, so I want it to be hidden when generating the pdf.Already tried to rebuild this visualization, but it didnt make any difference. Any ideas?

Hi,If I want to use image rendition I have to append its path to the image path.E.g. /content/dam/my-project-name/img1.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.thumbnail.319.319.pngI don't really like this because it exposes internal structure.I think it would be more natural to have something like this:/content/dam/my-project-name/img1.cq5dam.thumbnail.319.319.png.jpgor /content/dam/my-project-name/img1.jpg/cq5dam.thumbnail.319.319.pngBut it doesn't work.The only way I see to hide 'jcr:content/renditions' - use /etc/mapIs there other options/apptoches?

My team is seeing a discrepancy between external URL page views being reported in Google Analytics and Marketo's (anonymous and known combined) web page activity report. How does each system qualify a page view and could this be causing Marketo's reports to be significantly lower than GA?
