I know that Marketo recognizes duplicate records based off of email address, but I am wondering can they recognize alternate email addresses as well?  For instance if a lead comes in via a contact us form and the email address on the form is example@test.com, and there is a record in salesforce that has a main email address of example.person@test.com and an alternate email address field that says example@test.com - will it pick up the alternate email address and not create a duplicate lead?

I see that Adaptive forms is the third type of forms.Does it mean that PDF and HTML5 forms are not adaptive? 4. Just curious as to whether there is the ability to pull the number of API requests made in a given period, via an API call? I am wanting build in some steps to prevent certain activities running when coming close to our request limit.Obviously this would mean one more call added to the list, so if there are other ways of preventing hitting the limit, i would be open to ideas.Cheers

Hi,I need to build an analytics application in top of the data available in Marketo.For that I want to replicate the Marketo data into a local database (Sql Server/Oracle, etc.) so I can use that info in a simpler way.Any suggestions on how to accomplish this.I was planning in using the REST API for getting all the new activities and activity attributes and I can't foreseen an issue there, however when getting the lead data, getting the updated leads will not do the job I think because I'll still keep delete/merged leads.Any suggestion on how to overcome this or on how to implement a different replication mechanism.Regards.

Our Marketo instance is integrated with Salesforce, which provides a small percentage of leads to our lead database. A majority of our leads are imports to Marketo from a database NOT integrated (not supported at this time). Because of this, Salesforce is creating many duplicates to the Marketo database that already exist from the other system's import. Any thoughts on how to get Salesforce to auto-associate a new SFID with an existing record in Marketo before trying to sync a new record over to Marketo?

I have a series of campaigns (built identically for various products) which have stopped sending sales alerts over the last week. I built a smart list to mirror the smart list in my sales alert trigger campaigns and there are many leads that qualify to trigger the campaigns. I've tried the following variations of a smart list and none will trigger. Hi,I think I saw this somewhere but I can't find it now.I'm using the Marketo-Outlook Add-in from my sales team. We were using Salesforce for Outlook before to log everything into Salesforce and now I want to log it in both places as I need to show calls/emails, etc in a dashboard in Salesforce but also want to track them with Marketo.Is there an option to do that automatically? Hi all,With Q4 underway, the marketing department has been asked to help with analyzing our unsubscribes (and unsubscribe rates) to see if there is any correlation with number of emails being sent. Specifically, we're trying to determine the number of emails an email address receives per day/week/month and the corresponding number of unsubscribes.I wanted to know the most feasible way to go about collecting this data, whether its building smart lists or pulling reports (i.e. email performance report shows unsubscribe numbers and unsubscribe rates per asset). Is it possible to pull data on number of times an email is sent to particular email address (i.e. lead) per day/week/month, or can this only be accomplished by going into the individual lead's Activity Log?What are some unsubscribe trends that your organization has discovered?Thanks!Tom

Hi,Trying to sign into the Report Builder plugin in Microsoft Excel and I get this error message:"The user Login process was unsuccessful, an invalid company was specified."I have checked my log in details numerous times and there are no errors in the company, username and password fields.  I can log into Omniture's web client with no issues.As advised by @AdobeExpCare, I have reinstalled the plugin but I'm still getting the error message when trying to sign in.Any help?  Note: Your comment was edited to reflect the new name of the twitter handle. Hi there,Is there a new documentation to replace this https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/video/analytics_video.pdf. I was going through the video configuration section and it states that  one must log into Adobe 14 to configure the video setting  here - "Important: You must log on to Version 14 of Reports & Analytics to configure these settings"   but since  Adobe 14 is now sunset how do i go about configuring the video variables in adobe 15I read that a set of  backend processing rules will be created to  automatically map Video reserved variable to the video report but how do i see these mapped variables ? I can see the variable names in the video report but which particular eVars or events are they mapped to?

We are on cq 5.6.1 and looking at upgrading to 6.x.There is a consensus being made on 6.1 as preferred choice since 6.2 has only been around for 5 months since its General availability.As we are on 5.6.1 (not using many of new features anyways) plus no translation, communities, social components.What would we lose if we go with AEm 6.1 instead of 6.2

Hi,I am using CQ5.6. I am using admin resolver to get session. I create nodes and then save the session using session.save(). I am creating multiple nodes in a loop. However each time when I run the code, I get session exception and code execution stops without creating all the nodes. Is it because of this admin resolver that my execution stops in between? Hi, I created a new value that should need to pick up the page's URL and host name. But the values passed are not encoded, they look like "https://www.abc.com?tracker=abc". I guess this might be a problem? I'm picking them up via tag manager. Any idea how to avoid this?
