Should "video" be it's own channel in Marketo or is it part of a larger content picture? I'm hoping that other marketers can weigh in on how they do things and advise whether they've made video a separate channel and are tracking success of the video channel or if it's perhaps part of "email send" or "social media" channels. Thoughts?

This one has me scratching my head. I created a component and dragged on to a page I created with a basic template. This leads me to think there is something wrong with my template or the page component it is inheriting from. /templates/blank-template/.content.xml

When I am trying to create a new schema , I am getting the following error: "No primary keys found from path in schema 'nms:order'.Error while generating schema 'nms:invoiceLine'.I have followed the videos in the support portal and am not sure as to why it is not working .For info I work under my company's proxy .

Hi all,I have a component where you have to give the DAM path in dialog and it fills the page with all the images from the DAM. I used query builder to filter only images if author selects only images in the dialog box. While it presents all the images on the page, it does not follow order of images in DAM or any alphabetical order. It randomly pulls the images on to the page. Does anyone know how querybuilder filters the results, it looks like it is not following any order now. Is there a way i can get those images in order to what the order present in DAM?

As per AEM forms documentation (https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6-2/html-workspace-overview.html), AEM forms workspace is used to manage processes and tasks that forms can be associated with. However it's not fully clear what these processes are. Are these the ones created using Livecycle workbench? If so, would forms workspace also require LC connector to be able to access process / task data?If that's the case, Can these processes be hosted in AEM too? Or it can only be done in Livecycle and requires a Livecycle server to be running every time?Regards,- Aashay

I'm having trouble getting a click conversion event to fire within a form on a redirect page. I'm redirecting half of my traffic to a separate page and wanting to test that button click. I've set up the redirect already, then when I set up the conversion click event, I browse to the redirected page, click compose and then select the submit button. It shows outlined so it looks correct. But then when I QA this by clicking on it using a query string parameter for QA, it never shows up. Any ideas?

We are using search&promote for seach on our site.The usage is prettymuch inline with the OOTB searchpromote components in libs/cq/searchpromote path.We receive an XML from s&p server.We now are looking at having facets, I tried putting linklist facet on results page to get facets but it failed, so looking at logs and going through jar I noticed that facet component in its dialog calls a servlet (path+facetList.json) this servlet calls searchpromoteservice's get facetList method.      String facetList = this.searchpromote.getFacetList(memberId, accountNo);      JSONObject facets = new JSONObject(facetList);      out.write(facets.toString());but it then tries to convert string response as JSON object and fails since the URL http://sp10050b5b.guided.ss-omtrdc.net/design/sp_id=MyID-MyAccount&sp_fn=facets results xml rsponse.Only changing this setting in search & promote to return json would suffice or I will have to make any other changes as well? Regards,Allhad

Hi all,I am using the Adobe Campaign Manager V6.Currently I am trying to update a data loading process and wanted some clarification.In a given workflow using the Data Loading Object, the first step is to label the object and load a sample file for formatting. When I click on the "Click here to change the file format..." link, I can change the data type and loading processes for this step. This is great. My questions are in regards to the "Allow NULLs" header - there are 3 options1. Adobe Campaign default2. Empty value allowed3. Always populated- What is the adobe campaign default in regards to null values?- If I choose "Empty values allowed", am I allowing values that are NULL and = '' or just one of these cases?- If the above is just allowing NULL values, does the "Always populated" option consider a value = '' populated?Thank you!

I have a query regarding the crx2oak tool. This is specifically w.r.t. incremental migration used for handling the delta content. Q. Will it support the source to be a on different Data Center. Should source & target repository to be on same Data Center. ( Here Data Center 1 contains old 5.6.1 instance which is live & Data Center 2 contains new 6.2 instance).Just want to be sure if backing up and moving the same could be avoided if it is supported.

We are provided lists of students with contact information from schools bi-annually. To stay within the limits of our contract, I'm removing leads from our database that are not active. The problem I'm having is historical data.I might be over thinking this, but if Person A has unsubscribed from our emails, we obviously don't want them to be taking up space towards our limit, so I was going to just remove them. However, if the list we get in the next five months has Person A listed, would Marketo know they have previously unsubscribed from our communications even though I removed them?I don't want dead leads to be taking up our limit, but I also don't want to be removing names and leads from our system that have opt-ed out if they may be re-added in the next six months. Do all leads, unsubscribed included, count towards the database limit, or is it only the "Marketable" leads?

I think I know the answer to this, but could someone confirm for me?If I were to visit page A on my laptop as an anonymous visitor, would my behavior as an anonymous visitor on the laptop carry over to a mobile specific segment? The goal is to personalize a site based on someone visiting page A, but I'm wondering if it only tracks across devices cookied for that anonymous visitor.Thanks!

Mobile Apps based implementation provides ability to integrate angular with AEM and to pass data to angular scope from AEM using angular.json.jsp and controller.js.jsp. When I am using this as standalone component and dragging to page which is based on angular template. The JSON created in angular.json.jsp is successfully read in controller.js.jsp with "frameworkType=angular"When this component is authored in a separate page, in another page trying to use this inside reference component, the angular.json.jsp, controller.js.jsp is not coming to picture at all.I had a use case to author the JSON structure (to be passed to angular scope) in one place, then use in all pages using reference component. Any pointers would be helpful

Hello,I currently have three active engagement programs. To enter a program, a lead must fill out a form on a landing page. Once they fill out the form, they will then receive a series of nurture emails over time.I'm looking for a way to prevent a lead from entering more than one program at a time. I know I can manually remove a lead from a program or stream, but I was hoping to automate this.For example, a lead visits the landing page for Program A and fills out the form. A week later, they visit the landing page for Program B and fill out the form. How can I set rules to prevent that lead from receiving nurture stream emails from both Program A and Program B?

   Hello,I just had a quick question about a smart campaign I have in place to remove a lead (or pause) from an engagement program based off of inactivity. My smart list and flow are below. My question is - if I add ALL the emails to the "not opened email" to this flow step as seen below, will this take everyone who hasn't opened all 17 or will it take anyone who hasn't opened 1 of the 17?

Hi Guys,I believe the only way to exclude the traffic in Adobe analytics by using Exclude by IP & Custom Bot Rules option . Is there any other option available for not capturing/sending data to Analytics.P.S: the reason behind for asking this question is - we are not getting traffic from one particular user machine. No exclusion/block settings done on Adobe end to exclude the traffic. Not sure, if user can stop sending the data to Adobe analytics. if yes, what are the all the options available to stop sending the traffic?Thanks in advance

Hi,I installed plain vanilla AEM 6.2 onto our AWS server and the installation is success. When I login to CRXDE as admin user, it doesn't show up anything in the left panel. It is just empty. I checked the bundles and all the bundles are active. I opened up /siteadmin and it opens up fine. I checked /crx/packmgr and it also opens up fine. And when I checked the log I found an error stating 1.json not found. Below is the error snippet.15.09.2016 13:31:38.221 *INFO* [127.0.0.1 [1473946298216] GET /crx/server/crx.default/jcr%3aroot/.1.json HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Resource /crx/server/crx.default/jcr:root/.1.json not foundThis is author instance running on 4502 port. So I thought something went wrong with the installation and I did deleted the entire crx-quickstart folder and reinstalled again. Still I see the same problem. What could be the possible reason ? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Narendra N
