Hi there, I'm pulling a report for my tag and my tag fire numbers are inflated because it's firing off from an Adobe referrer link, example..http://assets.adobedtm.com/fd6d89d423cb7c0b3940b9b01097c49e001e7f50/satelliteLib-d982dd170f8b0d0fe9d107218f42a27fa944f625.jsWhat is this exactly and how do I prevent this from happening?

What happens when a Smart Campaign with Results is deleted?For example, let's assume that the Smart Campaign changed a data value on the Lead Record.Is the entry in the Activity Log for that Lead deleted?How is the Activity Log affected?Are there any implications for the data on the Lead itself?Is the Lead archived in Marketo in any way?When I tested this myself, I noticed strange behavior that I was not expecting. The entry in the Activity Log for Leads that ended up in the Results of the Smart Campaign remained, which I see as a good thing. However, the links to the "Campaign Name" were no longer hyperlinked for any of the Activity Log entries. This would have made sense for just the Smart Campaign that was deleted, but instead it affected all Activty Log entries. Meaning that I could no longer use the hyperlink to access the Campaign for any of the other log entries.Some of the confusion might be around my lack of understanding of the Marketo database architecture. What are the other ways of deployments? How these deployments are handled?Jenkins is a continuous integration tool (CI) for automating builds.2. Do we need to write scripts for Jenkins deployment? If so, using what language? Java script or Maven or Ant or so?Probably for most of the scenarios, it is just a configuration.3. When do we need to write scripts for Jenkins, as opposed to just configuration?4. I'm creating multiple nurture steams & programs for what we want to accomplish and I'm not sure if I'm using the best possible method to move leads between streams based on engagement & industry.Industry Stream (these are the "keep warm" emails being sent every 2 weeks to potential leads of each individual industry (IT, Accounting & Finance, Construction, etc))Campaign Event/Report Launch Stream (these are webinar & report launch streams - 1 email a week for 8 weeks)Industry streams are ongoing - and Campaign streams will interrupt the industry stream progress to promote a webinar/report launch.I'm trying to figure out a way to return a lead to an industry stream from a campaign stream depending on if they've exhausted the stream or have engaged with content (downloaded a report) - I want to remove the leads from campaign streams when they engage with content and return them to their industry stream - or start them on another iteration of their industry streams (I plan

We are creating a Landing Page Test Group for a PPC campaign we are running. The two landing pages offer the same form, with different product features highlight. Because the product features are different, we want to send an email confirmation that is specific to the landing page the prospect responded to - page A vs. page B. In creating a Smart Campaign for follow-up and program status changes, I do not see an option to send an email based on the landing page viewed then form completed.Is the only way to accomplish this to scrap the Test Group and create two separate programs? Any thoughts/insights are much appreciated!

I've got a form set up which includes text fields, image fields and buttons which "jump" users to other pages on the form.  The form behaves exactly how i want it to... ie is editable and has been populated with content by the client.  I now want to lock the text and image fields but preserve the functionability of the buttons, allowing other users to view, ideally copy and paste content, and navigate around the form without being able to edit it. I thought i could do this by password protecting it in Acrobat, however this also disables the buttons.  Is there another way to do it?  I saw mention in another thread of being able to lock down the text fields but i don't understand how this is done.Thanks for your help!Michael

Hey all -Just wanted to check and see if anyone has figured out if smart campaigns can be triggered by a user completing a specific task on a contact or lead.  I can't seem to figure this out w/o using Salesforce workflows. We want a Salesforce user to "complete" a research task, and when they do complete that task, Marketo kicks off a sales notification email.  I know we could ask sales to complete a task AND switch a campaign status to do this, but I would like to not have them take 2 paths to complete if possible.Would it be the "Activity is Logged" trigger? Seems to me the activity we're asking to be logged would be added on the SFDC user's activity record, not the contact the task was about. It's the rep taking the action, not the contact.

Hello all,A couple of months back while researching best practices for Adobe Analytics implementations with DTM I found a source/site that provided a list and link to companies that developed third party Javascript plugin and tags, For instance there was a third party plugin for salesforce which my employer is also implementing, but now for some reason I cannot find it. I was hoping someone might know of some sources that provide information on such developers. Now that I have implemented Adobe Analytics and Target with DTM. I am trying to write a listener which listens to page activation but in Publish Environment. The code which I have written works in author environment but doesn't in publish, i.e. it doesn't listen to Replication even in pub environment. I have attached the underlying code. Hi,I currently have two engagement programs enabled. For each program, there is a specific landing page with a form. Once a lead fills out the form on the landing page, they are entered into a nurture stream and will receive a series of targeted email content over time.To my surprise, I actually had the same lead fill out both forms, so they are now in both programs. I don't want them to receive nurture emails from the second program since they have already received emails from the first and this would be too many touches. How can I remove this one lead from the stream in program 2, but keep them in the stream for program 1?

HiI am moving over about 10K contacts from our old CRM system into SFDC and attaching them to there current account in SFDC. Since Marketo has been used for the last two years before we moved to SFDC I know most of these contacts exist as leads in Marketo. What I don't want to do is sync them to SFDC as leads then manually have to convert 10K  contacts to there correct accounts in SFDC.So what I am trying/hoping is that if I create them as contacts in SFDC let them sync to Marketo, Marketo then could merge the two records. So far I haven't got a strait answer  if this can be done. Seems simple enough match on email - update SFDC ID's. So far no one from Marketo has been able to give me an answers so I figure I would ask the community if anyone has done this. I would imagine I am not the first person to have this issue.

Hi there,Is there a way to get hidden channels back from the Browse Channels REST API call? When getting Programs from Browse Programs, some programs may be created with a channel that was hidden. Browse Programs returns a Channel Name, but we can't match the channel to a channel from Browse Channel because it doesn't exist.If there's a worry about breaking existing stuff, can you add an optional filter? Also, is there a reason the API returns names and not IDs for things like this? It's inconsistent, some API calls return IDs (see the nice folder structure in Programs) but not others. It would be very very good to always get an ID when available that you can match to another API call. Names can and do change.

Hi everyone -When I sent myself some samples this morning, I noticed "[MARKETING] TEST" in the subject line. I thought maybe it was just renamed and brushed it off.However, I've been receiving emails from other companies today and that is also their subject lines. Anyone else seeing this? Is this a Marketo thing? Or perhaps a new feature in email providers such as Outlook?

So we had 2 emails that accidentally were sent to our entire database, which caused us to get blacklisted.  I'm trying to see if I can identify the leads in our database that received ONLY those 2 emails and nothing else ever from Marketo.  Is there a way to do this in a Smart List perhaps?  We have a bunch of inactive leads that I cannot identify so I thought this may be a way of finding those to be deleted since they are not being included on any other sends.

Hi all,I've recently been trying to configure our AEM 6.0 project in such a way that it reports custom page variables to SiteCatalyst using some of the predefined eVars. I've setup an Adobe Analytics Framework page that successfully logs in to SiteCatalyst server and even created an Adobe Analytics Configuration page. I've also created an "analytics" node under my base page component with the property "cq:trackVars" and the variables of the custom clientcontext datastore that I've created. The problem I'm running into here is that on the Analytics Configuration page, these are showing up as "eventdata.mycustomdatastore.<variablename>"...My concern is that this isn't going to be picked up when the analytics actually reports the "pageView" along with the other variables defined in the "pagedata" clientcontext store. Right now I've created this custom datastore as a "CQ_Analytics.JSONStore".Should I instead be trying to add additional properties to the out of the box "CQ_Analytics.P

I therefore want to block all these updates and only keep the original first source of their visits.To do so, do I need to check Form fillout or Flow change data value (or both)? Hi all,I came across a site, which has the same header and footer across all pages, with only content or body changing across different pages.If I device only one template with one iParsys for the header, one parsys for body/content and one iParsys for Body, would this be enough?Idea is that at the parent page, header and footer are authored once and all child pages inherit them and so the same header and footer will inherit, without the author having to author content.For each page, we could use column controls and components to author content.Is my understanding correct?Then, my next question is given that most of the we sites have the same header and footer, why do we go for more than one template?Of course, if the header and footer are different, I agree.Appreciate your help.Thanks,Rama.
