How to pass value from .html file to .hbs file? I tried using request.setAttribute() request.getAttribute() in a .js file and accomplish this. Hi Guys,I am trying to get the new name entered from the move dialog in SiteAdmin.Action.js which is overridden in apps( from /libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/SiteAdmin.Actions.js). I tried using , form.findField("destName").getValue(); to get the name. This works fine in 5.6.1 but its not fetching the name in 6.1. Can someone please suggest me ways to get the new name entered by author while moving the page? I need this to process something further based on a business logic. Alternatively, i tried to get the entire path using  form.findField("destPath").getValue(); but even this is giving me empty String. Thanks in Advance!

Hi,I have an adaptive form in AEM 6.1. When you fill in form fields with the suggested auto-completes from Chrome, the input data is not recognized as value. Which also means, that validation is not triggered and you can't submit if there is a mandatory field. I've added a screenshot.Is this a know bug?Thanks,Alex

We offer free trials and get known leads when a lead fills out the form to sign up for the trial. The trial itself does not have Marketo Munchkin embeded however we have notifications that are in the free trial product. We want to know when a known lead using a free trial clicks one of these links to an external page without Marketo Munchkin. Can I add a Marketo Token to a link on a page that doesn't currently have our Marketo Munchkin to track if Known Leads click the link?  The link is to a page other than our original domain so the lead will be anonymous on that new domain and I don't want to ask the free trial lead to fill out a second form.

I packed the user,groups but when I install in another instance, it's not installing the permissions or acls(acess control list). how do we do this. thanksraj

Recently upgraded from 5.6 to 6.1 and we are now getting an error like this one for scheduled activations:com.day.cq.replication.ReplicationException: Version 2.9.45.11.25 not found for path /content/...Looking at the versions in the sidekick on the page, versions 2.9.45.11.24 and 11.26 exist. However where 11.25 should be the label is instead 'Scheduled Activation Time is ....'.Is this a known issue and is there some fix/workaround for it? Any help appreciated, our authors really want this working!Just to note, we are running an upgraded 5.6 repository (not a scratch install) with SP1 and hotfixes, the instance is not clustered, and we've had no other problems with replication or versioning.

Hi,My potentially future project on AEM should have the ability to use the international standard database engines as the content and configuration database , such as DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL.I am aware that AEM connects with databases for CRUD operations , but my question is whether  AEM could have a database at the storage layer, as opposed to JCR/ Mongo DB?Appreciate your replies.Thanks,Rama.

Since active directory does not have a user id, but uses samaccountname, I am trying to use that for the user.idattribute. that is not working. If I use cn and log in with the full name it works. Within the preferences section of Target, I have selected "select per activity" so that the teams here could select Target or Analytics data for their test. The issue is some co-workers have access to to the "reporting source" on the Goals and Settings page and some do not. I am not sure how to trouble shoot or speak to about tis issue.

HiI've put a list of emails or webIDs in the Excel sheet in Report Builder. How can you run Adobe reports around them? That is, the reports for all the visits from these emails/webIDs.I'm not talking to create a classification in Adobe Analytics and then use it to create it a segment. I'm looking for a way that if I need reports for a group of visitors, I can just copy and paste their emails/webIDs to the Excel in Report Builder (in one column) and then run the report I need.Thanks,Yude

Hi everyone,I wanted to check with the community and see if there is a way to turn off the submission of forms when a user hits Enter?We're creating a 'Contact Us' form and the field that allows users to freely type their message only allows new breaks in a message by using "Shift + Enter". By the time the user figures out Enter does not create a new line, the form is submitted.Anyone experience something similar or find a way to bypass this?Thanks in advance for the help!

Q1) We could see i18n key-value pairs when we hit the below command in consoleCQ.I18n.getDictionary()Where is this CQ.I18n.getDictionary() is getting invoked in AEM. Q2)On hitting the below url we could see i18n values.Where are those values coming from?http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/i18n/dict.en-US.json  

The sharing function does not work if you have found the article though the search function. Is there a way around this?
