I'm trying to find a resource to make sure this is possible. I want to be able to write notes to the description field on leads / contacts in SFDC as APPENDED and not overwriting information. I found this article​ but couldn't find any discussion posts to see if this is the best / only way. Has anyone else done this?

I am using JavaScript Coding in LiveCycle and developing dependent drop-down boxes but I am having difficulty writing the correct code. See example below. I am trying to use a multiple case function that references an option that is listed numerous times in the previous drop-down. The problem that I am running into is that when I reference Chevy or Nissan and any color, it is returning the results of the color under the "Ford" column only. I will still see the color options (Blue, Black, Green and Purple) in my second drop down and it looks fine, but then the third drop-down only references "Ford" colors and options. (I did not list the code for the third drop-down).I want the customer to choose Chevy or Nissan and then have its dependent drop downs (based on the color they chose), but I cannot seem to make this work.I hope this is clear enough (probably as mud…). Hi All,I have a nurture stream set up in my marketo instance which is working well. The stream is made up of emails pushing the recipient to fill out a form on our website (which in turn adds them to a salesforce campaign) or emails from a sales rep asking them if they have time to chat. For the latter type of emails which come a sales rep's email and ask them to set up time for a chat we don't have any links or forms for them to fill out. The recipient would simply hit reply and then speak to the sales rep directly. This makes tracking these nurture emails very difficult. I was wondering if it is possible to add a lead who received one of these "meeting request" emails to a salesforce campaign when they reply to the automated meeting request email. Please let me know if any of you have insight on this. Thanks! Brian

Hi Community,We are faced with a challenge of increasing our Quality Score in our Adwords campaigns due to poor landing page relevance (particularly content not being tied closely to keywords).We want to avoid creating a ton of variations for a single landing page, as it is very manual. We would have to replicate these pages in 3-4 different languages as well.We use Marketo Landing Pages for our PPC campaigns and are looking to dynamically populate a keyword (through utm_term) into the content, in order to increase landing page relevancy.I've searched the community but haven't found a clear answerLet me know what you all think!Best,JP

Is there a way in either Salesforce or Marketo to pause as specific lead from receiving emails within a certain amount of time? I have a lead that seems like he might be interested in the future, but not right now, and I don't want this lead included in any emails sent out for the next 2-3 months, this way we don't keep bugging him, which may lead him to unsubscribe. I installed AEM trial version. I followed the instruction below.Double-click on the .jar file to launch it. A browser page will launch to complete the registration process.Click the checkbox to accept the End User License AgreementEnter your name in the "Customer Name" fieldCopy and paste the above license key into the "License Key" fieldPress the Register buttonI succeeded to install and started to use it.But, I have to double click .jar file everytime I want to re-start AEM.I copied and added the site URL to my favorite site, but nothing happened if I just click the URL link.(Unless I double click .jar file again, AEM do not start working.)Plus, after a while, I have to put License Key again.Are these normal steps when you use AEM?

Hi Everyone,I'm struggling with a segment that uses the 'Then' operator.I've built a segment called 'Browse Visit' to show me users who aren't using onsite search. On it's own this segment works fine and brings back reasonable data (see screenshot 1).I now want to add a rule on the end that says 'Then item was added to the trolley' (Screenshot 2)So the whole thing would beUser who browsed the site (and did not search)ThenAdded item to the trolley.However, adding the 'then' operator stops my original segment from working, as it does not like the fact that I have a visit container within a visit segment.Why is this fine for the basic segment, but as soon as I add the 'Then' operator it is invalid? Prior to the latest update, we were able to add a "does not equal" operator to segment definitions. I am trying to create a segment to see my visitors that have watched a video. Ideally, my definition would be visits where evarX "does not equal" "blank". I cannot change the operator from "equals" to any other value. Is this a system issue or a change in functionality?

Hi,I am trying to create a smart list that will provide only those email accounts, addresses, ID, etc. that were undelivered. I understand there is a current Smart List filter that reads "was delivered email"; however, when exporting this list, I have to do a vlookup to find those email addresses that were undelivered. I tried to find "was undelivered email" or simply search in the smart list filter search bar for "undelivered" but found that neither of these exist. Is this something that my particular Marketo instance consist of? Has anyone else had success to creating smart lists that show only undelivered accounts? I found a filter called "Not Was Delivered Email" but this filter does not show the undelivered, as I thought maybe did. Any thoughts or suggestions on this?

We recently synced MKTO and SFDC.  One of our reps emailed today and stated when he created a lead in SFDC it automatically created an activity "responded to campaign".  Does anyone know why this happens?Also, in the activity logs for the leads that are syncing from SFDC to MKTO it is showing numerous SFDC activity types.  I tried to look in the community for information around this topic but didn't really find anything. I'm trying to figure out if it's setting issue or something larger. Side note: we have not installed sales insights yet.Thank you! Christine

Hi,I am new to AEM. I am working with v6.0. I have created a custom column control using bootstrap. It allows the content author to configure the number of columns he needs and the proportion of each column (ex: Column: 3, Ratio:4:4:4). I have created a custom client library to use bootstrap css files and I have added editConfig component to refresh the page every time the component is edited/inserted. I have added the JSP code of my component belowThis code works the first time when I configure the values.Problem:1. If I refresh the page again, the columns disappear.2. If I add more column than what is configured, then only the extra columns appear. Ex: if previously I have configured 2 columns and then I say I need 3 columns, only 1 column appears.3. If I just add some text to the JSP page and refresh, all the columns appear. But if I refresh again everything disappears.Please advise if I am making any mistake or if this is some kind of bug in the product<%-- Bootstrap Grid Layout

We are getting ready to sync SFDC and Marketo.  We have records that exist in both systems. It is our understanding that after initial sync, these leads will be duplicated in Marketo.  My questions are: 1. Is there a way to prevent this?2. If not, how did you manage the merging in Marketo?Thank you.

I am having some trouble on using a Jquery function my js file inside my clientLib folder. Hi Experts,We are creating Adobe Experience Manager bundles that invoke third party Restful web services.To create the AEM client that displays data returned by the Restful service, created these files:query.json.jsp: that contains application logic that calls the OSGi bundle's getDistance method.component.jsp: that contains application logic that parses the JSON data and displays data returned by the getDistance method. Now, When trying to excute it then it is throwing the BAD Request. I noticed that the divs in the markup that are generated to enclose around the various form elements in the form have the following class for every single one. We currently have about 10 active engagement programs and are developing a survey page that we will include in our emails that will basically ask prospects what content they would like to see. If they select a different topic(s) than the stream they're currently in, we would like to pause them in the current campaign and add them to a new campaign(s). What is the best way to do this? I'm struggling to find the right mix of flow steps. These are set up as individual programs and not separate streams in one program.

When adding a link in a rich text field on an email, you are given control over whether the link should have the mktTok appended to the URL or not tracked entirely. However - that functionality is not included in a rich text token. The workaround is to add the 'mktNoTok' class to the link manually - but it makes it a bit more cumbersome. Has anybody found a better workaround for this? Why are the link controls different between the email editor and the rich text token editor? -Justin
