Hi All, When alt text is input and/or inherited to a component, does the component do some kind of transformation to make the text readable? In other words, is there a process making alt text readable to screen readers or is it innately readable? Would appreciate guidance on this, thank you!

When I enter metadata to a psd via file info on Photoshop, then upload the psd to AEM, the metadata isn't showing up in the properties>metadata for the file in AEM. Is there any way to facilitate the metadata on my local file transferring with the file into AEM?

Hi Team, As per Adobe recommendation to avoid "race condition", Dispatcher Flush Agent is configured in Publish Instance for our project.Now, we want to use ACS common "Dispatcher Flush UI" (link below) feature which enables Author to clear flush manually.https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/dispatcher-flush-ui/index.html Problem Statement:This ACS tool requires dispatcher flush agent to be configured on Author. So what should be recommended approach in this scenario?Can we have dispatcher flush agent in both Author and Publish? Will it not make flush request twice? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've got a quick question about the import file header for Saint classifications. I've looked through the docs, but I can't find an explanation for what these two numbers that i've highlighted refer to. The blue one always stays the same, but the red one changes between each account.  Do they have an impact on the FTP saint upload process? 

Hello:Is there a way to update program channel via the API? We are able to clone the Marketo program via the API and I would like to set the channel via the API as well. However, I only see documentation for the GET the channel names but no way to POST / create a new channel. Appreciate your input here. 

I have a request queue, project template and fusion flow to convert an issue to a project and attach the template.  For some reason there is an extra custom form appearing on the projects that are converted in Fusion.  This form is not shown on the template being applied.  I have checked the request queue settings, template and fusion modules that convert to project (template field is blank) and add template (calling for the correct template).  Are there any other areas I'm missing that could potentially add a custom form to the project in the process?  If I manually convert to a project using the same template, they are fine. I've even tried adding the form that is appearing to the template and then going back and removing it.

Hi everyone,I'm wondering if anyone has run into the Adobe 500 error page (aka error page of death), even when the ACS Commons error handler is enabled in AEM as a Cloud Service.  According to the docs on the ACS Commons page - see table of incompatible ACS Commons items on https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/pages/compatibility.html#aem-as-a-cloud-service-feature-incompatibility - error handling should work properly in AEMaaCS.  Additionally, it's working for us for 404s.  However, unfortunately, if one of our components throws a 500 error, we get the Adobe error page instead of our custom error page.  Obviously we should be catching these errors, but we want to make sure that we're serving client-specific error pages if anything unexpected happens. Is any API available to automate the Adobe IMS login to fetch the auth code? I am looking to see how can I automate the process of fetching the access token for adobe analytics reporting API 2.0 I place I am stuck is the bearer token use to expire and I want to refresh the token dynamically. Is there a way out for this?  

I've asked similar questions in the past. I'm still trying to find ways to keep a scenario from running more than once on the same object. If I have a webhook output that looks like this:is there any way to compare the id of the first bundle with the id of the 2nd bundle before moving onto the next module? It would be great if I could get my scenario to determine if the object is the same in both bundles and allow me to consolidate the execution to just one rather than 2.  I am guessing Fusion just doesn't work that way - does each bundle get processed serially before getting to the next one? I thought I'd ask.  Thanks!   

Hi, I've created a report to show the custom forms attached to tasks. I have a new custom form that I need to attach to all existing tasks and I thought I could use the task report and filter for tasks missing a specific custom form and attach the form that way. I haven't had any success with the filters and it seems to be related to tasks having multiple custom forms, which is not working with filtering or grouping. When grouping, only the first custom form in the task shows. Is there any way to use text mode in a grouping to show all the attached custom forms as a string?Is there a way to keep inline editing but show the task custom forms to be searchable in the report filter? Filtering for the form name missing didn't work, despite trying many combinations and types of category report field types. Is there any way to achieve multiple splits in Compose? From what I've seen you can only use one Split block per composition. In addition, you cannot use an audience from Composition as a starting Audience block to split in a new composition.

I understand Adobe is discontinuing collecting analytics from 15th October 2024 on its online dashboard but my document published approximately a month ago is already showing no views/visitors. How do I retrieve the existing data that has been collected up to now? 

We have specific DO NOT MAIL audiences that we have created AJO segments for that need to be added in AJO audience builder to ensure that they are excluded from receiving specific types of marketing emails.  Even with QA processes and checklists, and Peer Review, mistakes can/do happen and wondering if there is ability to support with some system level intervention.  I know there is a masters suppression list, however I need them to be able to receive transactional emails. They may need to receive certain updates, just no sales related materials. Is it possible to set assign permissions for profiles to only be used by specific channel surfaces?    Other technical solutions?   Label to allow export only on transactional channel surfaces?

Hi, Previously, we utilized a single DataStream and operated three services(AA, AT, AEP). Under this configuration, we observed target server call counts in the analytics reportsuite. To address this issue, we opted for a separate DataStream exclusively for the Adobe Target service. However, despite implementing this change, there has been no alteration in the data. Any suggestions on how to prevent the visibility of Target server call counts in the analytics reportsuite?

Hi everyone, We are currently migrating our analytics tracking from legacy way (Via Adobe Analytics extension) to WebSdk and I wanted to understand few of the use cases how it will get implemented. Since in Adobe Analytics, while creating rules we used to set variables, send beacon and use clear variable but while migrating to WebSdk extension we have to create schemas, data streams and when creating a normal page load rule we will send WebSdk send event within actions and call that XDM object (Create as a data element). However, I wanted to know in Adobe Analytics when we need to trigger few variables that will be specific to particular use-case we add conditions along with set variables but don't send beacon as we already send beacon in other global page load rule. For eg. for product pages I need to append two new eVars and we can add conditions and only set variables within action but via websdk how can we achieve it if I need to append the 3 new variables only for s

Hi all, I have a situation where the activity map is being trigger when a visitor interacts with the navigation menu. ie menu opening up / showing sub menus. These are the links which have the following href="javascript:void(0);" I would simply want to abort or cancel "sendEvent" requests programmatically (using example code snippets below). Now, the problem is that if you use something like the below in the callback, it results in rather ugly console log - example below. Could someone suggest a clean cut solution ? How can we do multiple jvms to access the same repo and need to write the content to shared repository. I'm currently exploring Adobe Target and considering setting up a sophisticated and customizable approval workflow within the platform. The envisioned workflow would involve multiple levels of approval, perhaps 2-3, before any activity is ready to be published.

Hello Community,  We have a requirement to lock the payload until the workflow is approved and finally unlock the payload as part of the workflow process. My question is: in the workflow, can the user add one or multiple pages? If it is a single page, I believe the OOTB unlock process step can lock the payload and unlock it once approved. However, in the case of multiple pages, the payload is a package and all the pages will be part of the package. In this scenario, will the lock process be capable of locking and unlocking the pages, or do we need to write some custom code to perform the lock/unlock for all the pages attached as part of the workflow? Can someone advise on this?

We tried to whitelist domains only for specific IP addresses. Hi,I created a runtime web-action that ll fetch events from journal api like thisconst journalObservable = await client.getEventsObservableFromJournal(baseURL, journalOptions); journalObservable.subscribe( x => logger.log('onNext: ' + JSON.stringify(x)), // any action onNext event e => logger.error('onError: ' + e.message), // any action onError () => logger.log('onCompleted')) //action onCompleteI am able to invoke the web action from postman. And when I publish events into the journal api, my logs read the events from journal successfully.  Now the web action stays alive like 1-2 mins. Then dies. So if event is published say after 5 mins, those events are not received. Is this expected?  Alternate I could think is, create as non-web-action using alarm. And cron trigger the action every say 5 mins. Is this correct that "Reading journal events must be created as non-web-action using alarm cron?"

Hello everyone, Has anyone used adobe's app measurement "s" variable and mapped it to the "_data" variable in WebSDK ? I have successfully done the above part using the method Rajdeepsingh posted https://medium.com/@rajd33p/web-sdk-for-adobe-analytics-the-best-possible-way-to-collect-data-6a54a965fe54 , however now I would like to send this to to AEP through a datastream so that I can eventually use it in CJA. I do not want to use the Adobe analytics experience event template schema, rather want to use something custom schema but wasnt sure how the product string and other variables would be designed. Has anyone successfully implemented anything of this sort ? Any suggestions will be appreciated.Thanks

Hi, - Any there any best practices for implementing AEP Mobile SDK on Hybrid App? Specifically, what methods can be used to share Visitor Information(ECID) from the native screen to Web App?- as per Adobe documentation, recommended approach for sending events is through the "sendEvent" API from the application end to capture custom Variables. Howerver, are there any downsides to using EdgeBridge Extension while continuing to rely on MobileCore.trackState and MobileCore.trackAction to pass custom data via ContextData.
