Hello,I’m having trouble figuring out how to get Checkboxes data to transfer into Smart List flows to help trigger different actions as well as transmit data to our Salesforce reps.On a form I am building, I am utilizing a mandatory Checkboxes field where there are four options (A, B, C, D) and at least one checkbox needs to be ticked. If checkboxes A and C are checked, how is that info stored in a field in Marketo? Ideally, I’d like our Salesforce reps to see that A and C were checked. We would also send specific follow-up email messaging based on the checkboxes selected.I tried making a Smart List that would write these selected values to their own fields, but I don’t see any way for the Smart List Flow to update user data based on Checkboxes field selections – all I see is the initial form field but no pre-population of the checkbox options I put into the form.I could make the individual form checkbox fields A, B, C, and D and align them so they appear to be one set of checkboxes, b

Hi All,In order to optimize Marketo performance, we're thinking about switching from using Smart Lists for our suppression list to using Static Lists.But recently someone suggested we use Segmentations instead - because it seems to offer the performance of a Static List but functionality of a Smart List.Has anyone considered using Segmentations to populate your suppression lists instead of the more common use cases of using it for "Industry" or "Region"?I believe that there is a limitation to the types of filters allowed in Segmentations - for example no behavior based critera - but are there any others?Will using Segmentations improve the system performance compared to continuing to use Smart Lists?Thanks!

I've realized over the past week or so, that when viewing a lead record - which includes the following tabs:...whenever we refresh either of these tabs/views, that it only refreshes the data in that tab.  So let's say we're doing some testing to make sure our fields are syncing properly between Marketo and CRM.  I keep an eye on the activity log and as soon as I see the data has come over, I now need to click on the appropriate tab, like "Lead Info", and then hit "refresh" once again to see those changes reflected.  Same goes for all of the other tabs.  In the past, refreshing anywhere within the lead record would refresh each and every one of the tabs so you can quickly navigate to each one, knowing you would be viewing the most up-to-date data.  Is anyone seeing this behavior?

Playing with the new email editor and there are a few good things but also some stuff that needs to be improved.It was better to be able to see html vs text side-by-side (so you can see if something has been copied or not). This is useful for me because I have a lot of people who forget to do this and also sometimes the alignment doesn't come across very well.Find and Replace - can this not also be added into the code view?Font / Font Size selection - There used to be a "None" feature which was very helpful if for example you wanted to change back to your templates default size. You could just choose "Font size" and it would pick up the default template specified size.Also, for example we use a 13px font (which is not an option in the drop down list ) so now if out users change the font size, we cannot fix this without going into the code and changing it manually. We have been doing some content syndication with partners and we need to upload lists of new leads to further nurture in our environment. Before I do that, I'm wondering what happens with people who are already in our system with the same email address. Does their profile get updated/merged and or replaced?

Hi all,I need to try to merge the contents of two fields in my instance.  Over time we have had create a 'Product Interest' field and also an 'Area of Interest' field.  What I would like to do is take everything from the 'Area of Interest' field and get it put into the 'Product Interest' field.  Is there a way to do this without overwriting what's already in the product interest field?ThanksJuli

We’re in the process of making our nurture streams more targeted based on progressive profiling data. Right now, our lead nurture flow is fairly generic, with all leads receiving the same content.  We’re planning to add in “industry” on our progressive profiling forms within our generic nurture stream, and then redirect the leads to an industry specific flow once we have that data.  In addition to our lead nurture flow, we also have a few other nurture flows a person could be a part of (customer, closed lost, etc.).  I’m wondering if I should have separate engagement programs or just one.  Right now we’re currently using smart campaigns for our nurture programs, but are planning to transition to engagement programs. Originally I thought:Engagement program 1: Lead nurturing with generic + industry specific streams (leads will need to exit program based on status (became customer, has an opp, etc.)Engagement 2: Customer stream – streams based on productEngagement 3: Closed lost streamAnd

We created a number of our apps years ago in iOS only before considering Android. Some of our bundle ID contain capital letters - com.publisher.MAGAZINE etc. so our product IDs are structured like: com.publisher.MAGAZINE.issuenumber for individual issues.When we launched on Android we discovered that they do not allow CAPS in their product IDs so we have a slightly different structure - com.publisher.magazine.issuenumber. This has been an inconvenience but not an issue because we separate our Android and iOS content through different Adobe ID's and can therefore provide different product IDs for each issue.Because the new DPS is much more cross-platform friendly and we won't have to split our content anymore I believe we'll need the ability to provide different product IDs based on platform - unless Google is loosening their conventions around characters etc.?Will we be able to do this?

Hello All,We get a fair number of lead form submittals that are spam (not a unique problem, I'm sure).What we have been doing is attempting to automotically delete these leads using Marketo. The spammers had been using google exclusively as "Company name". So, since Google would never actually require our services, I created a flow that deleted any new leads with company name "google". This has worked very well.Recently, spammers have taken a new approach. The commonality we see now is using a url as their "last name". Since no real lead would do this, I would like to set up a flow that deletes a new lead if last name contains "http://". I set up this flow and activated it, however it does not seem to be working.Does anyone have any insights or possible solutions? Thanks!

I've made a template built with tokens in an effort to discourage users from modifying the style. I'm able to edit everything I want aside from the button links. I can edit the text but I want a simple way to have users change the href address. Each month we co-sponsor a webinar with a partner. We'd like to know which registrants they are responsible for driving, and which came from our efforts. What's the best way to go about this?I thought I could clone the invite email, change the link inside to be unique to the partner (i.e., adding "?r=partner" to the end of the URL), and any registrant could be tracked back to the link that brought them there. Creating some smart lists to view the results, though, didn't show any activity when tested. I ended up just cloning the landing page (using the same form), so that if they fill out the form on that page they get added to a list, representing those leads the partner is responsible for. This worked, but I wonder if there is a simpler way that I'm not seeing. Any ideas from other channel-focused orgs? Thanks!

Hey Guys,I'm currently setting up a new campaign to run a swag give away promo with Printfection. Since Printfection's api doesn't integrate directly with Marketo I'm having to use a much less automated work-flow than I had originally hoped (Here's what they recommend doing- Which is what I'm working on).Unfortunately, this requires me to: 1. manually export a csv of the users who have filled out the form on our landing page 1-2x week2. generate and add the codes from printfection to the csv3. send them out to the team at printfectionSo, my question is - Is there any way to have marketo send me an email containing the extracted smartlist in csv format?

Hey there,we have been using the "old" DPSuite for about a year now and are testing the DPSolution at the moment.I have set up a project, migrated an old and perfectly working folio and pusblished all the articles.I built an app, downloaded and signed it and installed it on my iPad.Now when I start the app, I can see the splash screen and a loading circle but afterwards the app just goes blank/white and nothing else happens.I have checked all Apple-Certificates and rebuilt the provisioning file and made sure to include my UDID (read from iTunes).I tried playing with the top-level collections and articles and rearranging article structure and order.The behaviour occured both with versions 2015.3 and .4I found a similar question here in the forum (I have checked all Apple-Certificates)Any idea where to check for errors?I don`t know where else to look and our trial is running out 15-09-25

Hi,We are implementing an adoption campaign for our new customers. We plan to send one email each week (for 6 weeks) that cover the different functionality of our product in order to to help onboard our customers. I know we can create a basic email program and just set up a new email send each week for the new customers. However, is there a benefit to setting this up in a drip nurturing campaign versus within the flow of an email blast program? Thanks!
