I am new to the Marketo world and still trying to figure things out. I just sent out my first email and now I am looking to get somet results. How can I tell what the open rate and click through rates are? 

I have built an email campaign in my specific team's folder and I am trying to get it cloned to other team's folders. However, when I shared the campaign it is now showing up for them as a locked folder and I cannot get it unlocked. Has anyone else had a similar issue? If so, can you please share how you resolved this?

If the cookie id is the same, but the email is different, is a new lead created?

One of the fields (1st field) in my form is basically frozen. You can fill out every other field in the form, but it won't allow you to put anything in the 1st field, which is problem b/c it is required. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what's going on here? I've never experienced this before. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great!

Hello all,I have a campaign created where a lead can run through each time a form is filled out.  On this form, I have a hidden field that is populated by a URL parameter to capture data on the name of the asset they downloaded, which in the flow dictates certain actions based on if they download asset A, asset B, etc. If the lead downloads asset A, then visits the form again and downloads asset B, is is possible with that data value changing from A to B that some sets in the flow could get mixed up in my smart campaign?

Hi,I'm used to Acrobat Pro but new to LiveCycle. I need to hide several pages on a form until a user activates a checkbox. ie/  user clicks on "[x] category one" and the page that contains category one content appears. If the user deselects the checkbox, the page is hidden. ie/ user clears [ ] category one and the page with the content disappears from the user's screen.\i think it's called 'reveal page' but am not sure. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?Thanks!

I've recently integrated our Adobe Connect to our Marketo Instance.  I'm following the guidelines for creating events (https://community.marketo.com/resource/1395769633000/MarketoAdobeConnectAdapterUserGuidev21) but my Registration flow (form fill trigger) Registers my contact with Adobe and then triggers the email.  Marketo says "Email Sent" but I've never seen/received the email.  My site admin and I are baffled...?

Hi Everyone!So I tested out a small group with A/B testing for different date/time. My own address was in the smart list used 4 times as 4 different leads. When testing, I received both A & B emails. So it seems that it doesn't dedupe correctly with A/B testing in Marketo.Has anyone experienced this and come up with a work around while still using A/B testing? I'm not quite sure how to create a smart list and remove duplicates.  (I'm not in control of our SF leads [which is a hot mess with some duplicates], so I can't really get it deduped properly.Thanks!Josh

We have more contacts/leads in SFDC than we have email slots in Marketo, so I routinely try manage those so we have the right people in Marketo. My question is - if I delete the lead from Marketo (but not from Salesforce), is it also removed as a campaign member on any SFDC campaigns I have synced with Marketo campaigns?Thanks

The SOAP API docs hint at a ForeignSysPersonId variable that I can use for Lead keys created by an outside system.But how do you set that value?  I cannot find a form field that looks like it corresponds to this, and Marketo ignores it when I try to set the attribute "ForeignSysPersonId" in a Lead through the API.

Has anyone run into this issue before? It's saying that it cannot delete the event because the asset is in use within itself. I have deleted everything from the event except the event itself.

When we are combing through the community and come across a broken link in a discussion, should we be reporting those links to Marketo somehow?  Most links in the community do work, but if you are a community regular, you do come across a few broken ones.Thanks!

Hello all,I'd like to build a confirmation page.  To do this, I have a link in an email.  They click on the link and it takes them to a page where it askes to confirm name and email (passed via parameters).I've read through everything I can find on this site and none of the articles seem to work.  Does anyone have a working model they can share, or explain the process?

I'm attempting to replicate something we had working quite well with our old forms, whereas there is no label next to the form field, instead - the default value is set to read "First Name" within the field itself, for example. In forms 2.0 i am having a problem where the default value does not erase once a user inserts their cursor into the field. So they have to literally erase the word "First Name" to type in their own.Anyone have a quick workaround, perhaps involving some javascript that would erase the default with active cursor? 

Hi, I used the Email program to do some A/B testing, but the program status are quite limited with "Engaged" and "Member". I would quite like to change the "Engaged" to "Opened" and add a "Clicked" to get more indepth knowledge of lead activities for our Sales team.

I recently had a flow that had a series of emails going out, seperated by the "wait until date" option. After 40 people were in the program, I changed the date it was supposed to be waiting for. Unfortunately, an email went out to everyone on the date I had originally!On a side note, this seems to be a design flaw in Marketo.What I am wondering now, is if I deactivate this campaign, will the emails FOR SURE stop going out??

So when I initially set up campaigns to set our Lead Source, I wanted Lead Source to be updated only if the lead was created today (we had some data quality issues that we were working through with Lead Source, so I only wanted to update those that were actually new and not just empty)... When I looked at the campaign today, I noticed it wasn't populating lead source for leads that were acquired by a campaign, which definitely should have been populated!Upon further review, it looks like the options for the timeframe of Lead Created Date have changed since my original setup, and these steps in my campaign are being skipped.I guess this is a little bit of a rant, a little bit of a warning, and also a question to Marketo... is this something that you guys knew about? And is there a better way of telling people that this won't work? I now have to go back through all of our recent campaigns and assign a lead source and lead source detail which is unnecessary work!

I'm using the Big Event v1 landing page template and would love to be able to change the style of the form so it's not rectangular, but rather vertical. I can't seem to figure out how. Hi!We are planning to send MQL leads to our distributors by setting up an alert email from SFDC so that they can follow up with the leads. Our distributors have no access to our Marketo or SFDC so the Marketo Sales Insigh tab which shows all the lead activity can't be share'd with them.Our plan is to sync our MQLs from Marketo to SFDC and then assign it  to our distributors and the distributors will get it as an alert email in their inbox. While we can provide some demographic information like name, email, company name job title etc in the alert email, the lead activity info which helped the leads reach the MQL status can't be shared.  Can anyone give me ideas on how we can share some lead activity information with our distributors? Thanks in advance!Smitha

HelloWe want to be able track how well our campaigns are doing, and any sales made from these on our website. We don't use sales force (we use Sage SalesLogix). How can we add this into our campaigns to track sales and what do we need to add in to be able track (does it go in the email/template/outbound campaign???)?Do Marketo and Google analytics work together?Thanks!
