We have alert emails for marketers and sales to inform them about new leads. I want to enable them to add the lead to a nurture campaign by clicking a link in the alert email. (e.g. http://....marketo.../requestcampaign?campaignID=1014&leadID=238657)I can't use a "click email" trigger as it's not the lead who clicks it, but a marketer. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm trying to send a test email to myself from the email previewer screen and am getting the error message "JSON Decode Failed"There is no issue when I send a test from the marketing activities screen.Will this affect deliverability of my email when I actually go to send?  Any way to fix?thanks!

We have placed marketo forms on our websites, we have different form for different language, Is there a way to create a token based on the form name so that it can be included in the notification email to the sales guys.I went through this article about Tokens for Interesting Moments http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KywJCAS , but couldn’t figure it out.Thanks for the help.

Simple, I'm looking through the documentation and haven't seen much of any reference.I have a webhook that is looking to provide a lastActivityDate in the JSON response, which will then be assigned by to a field on the contact in Marketo. I've pieced together this format:MM/dd/yyyy,HH:mmBased on some document I found that had references to an HTML Date field being posted, but that is about it.Could someone confirm the format in relative short order?

We've been using the calendar file token feature for webinars with zero issues. Today I'm trying to use it for just a regular ole save the date calendar file (it contains no tokens or anything fancy) in a Marketo email. When I click the link to add the event to my calendar I get this:Anyone else seen this? I tested an ics for a webinar today that does contain tokens, etc and have had zero issues. Odd.

Hi there,Whenever I send an email from Marketo, "via em-sj-77.mktomail.com" is appended to the email, and everyone who receives the email can see that "via." How can I remove this?Thanks!Eric

Does any one have a Sign up for newlsetter link/button at the bottom of their email campaigns? What is the best way to go about doing this and setting up a program/flow in marketo to ensure that all leads that select this button/link are added to the newsletter distro list?

So a search for bing just gave me loads of Adwords results.  How does anyone track BingAds?  I'd like to use the same landing page but pass across bing as the lead source and the associated terms/campaigns to Marketo/Salesforce using the fields I have set up for Adwords.Can I do this from a single landing page or do i need different landing pages for bing?On a related note, do I need separate landing pages for UK/US ads to track correctly?  Thats for Adwords and Bing.Would I really need 4 different landing pages?

When merging leads, if the two records are members of two seperate lists, (so record A is a member of list 1 and record B is a member of list 2), when you merge the leads does the person remain in both lists?

I have a Table which is being passed to my context in the ADOBE Form.  I need to be able to count the # of records in this table.  I don’t have to display the actual table in this case on the form, I just need the record count.  And, I need to do this using JavaScript and I don’t know anything about Java (although if FormCalc works I can use this as well).     My Tablename is Customer and on my form it is in the Hierarcy data.main.customerbody.customerline.  If I have to have this table data on the form then I can just put it on the form and make it invisiible.  I really only need to count the # of records though and return this # to a Text Field on the form.Does someone know how to do this and can you give me an example in either Java for FormCalc?  The more specfic you can be with the scripting example the better for this newbie.  thx!

What does the hours in SLA in support mean? All I seem to get is an automated email saying they received my request and nothing else after that. Does hours in SLA just mean I'll get an automated email within the specified hour saying they received my request?

Has anybody else having a problem with this community. My profile and all my activities here in the community has completely been erased! I've been here less than a month and this is the second time this has happened. I, also, can't register for ANYcourses nor provide a feedback.A Marketoinstructor/consultant who was suppose to assist us with setup suddenly decided not to show up. We found that she wasn't going to show up after waiting 30 minutes and when somebody contacted Marketo to find out what was happening.I was just wondering how it is with everybody else. Marketo is expanding very fast and probably hiring many new people. So, is it just me that's currently having these much problems? Community here seems to be excellent.

It seems when ever I change my email address in Marketo and open up the community pages, it creates a new profile in the Community instead of just updating my email address. So, I have several profiles in the community instead of one. This is very annoying especially since Marketo seems to erase my profiles and activities without notice.Has anybody else tried this?

I was able to figure out what was causing a failed API issue with my GoToWebinar sync. However, I'm still seeing this error message in Marketo: I fixed the issue in GoToWebinar about 30 minutes ago, so you'd think by now the issue would be corrected in Marketo via the sync. However, the error message is still being displayed and webinar registrants are still failing to register. Any idea why the sync isn't updating Marketo? This webinar is occuring on Wednesday, so time is of the essence! Thanks! Andrea

Hi There-I'm doing a lot of interviews right now for a marketing ops/ campaign manager position. I feel like I could be asking better questions. What are some questions you ask while interview for this type of position? Or if you've recently gotten a new job in this field, what were some of the questions asked of you.

I have a requirement that our design team has come up with.  We have a small form in an iframe on our site and they would like the field label to appear in the field area.  I have included a print screen of the form as it was designed.  I search the community and have not been able to find any instructions if this is possible.Please let me know if you have done this.Thanks,Karin

Hi,On Monday I sent a lead nuturing campaign to around 9,000 leads, asking them to register for one of our webinars (there where 6 included in the email to choose from). I need to pull a report to see who registered for a webinar from that campaign. I can pull a report of everyone registered for a particular webinar but not specifically who registered from clicking in the email.Does anyone know how to do this? All of our landing pages and forms are in Marketo so we should be able to track this somehow.NB - we don't use SalesForce.Any help will be appreciated!Thanks,Hannah

Our sales staff noted a strange anomoly today. We have a landing page which uses a form with a few features: Some of the form fields are hidden and populated from values in the query string. These values are historically important in many of our workflows. The form uses the "Social Form Fill" feature, allowing leads to authorize us access to info from their social profiles. We learned that when a lead clicks on one of the social buttons and authorizes that application to play nice with Marketo, a lead is created or updated. In other words, a lead doesn't have to submit the form on the landing page in order to be entered as a lead!While this has some neat advantages, it is leaving our current workflows in a mess when this happens, as the hidden fields in the form are not captured from the url. Has anyone else seen this? Is this by design? If so, how do handle a lead that has only provided some social profile info?

Hello, I have an email template that is being used by several auto response emails which had an issue on PC outlook that I resolved in the template, edited the draft of the template, and then approved the draft on the template.When I sent a test message of the template it appears fine, but when I send a test message of emails that are using the template, the changes are not reflected. I also tried downloading the HTML of the auto response email and I can see that the change I made in the template's code has not been applied.Is there a step to updating templates that I am missing, or is there a latency period between updating a template and emails using that template being updated?Many thanks,- Leslie
